Chapter 407 What's Up Beautiful
I don't know if she was trying to make me not to feel bad about the car. The more she asks if I am okay the more I become guilty and still confused.
"Gracie, you don't have to worry. Like I said before, I will get another car"
She assured me again and I nodded.
She got down and asked me to come down too which I did.
She boarded a cab and we left not knowing if we were heading home or still going for that thing she said before. I was no longer in the mood for fun anymore.
"Lucy, we could go for this another time. Let's go home"
She looked at me for a long time and said okay.
"Sir, don't be angry. Take us to Marvin Avenue instead"
She told the cab driver who acknowledged her by nodding his head.
Less than fifteen minutes later, we got to where we live. She paid the guy and we came down and the guy drove away. I started walking away when Lucy pulled me back to her and hugged me.
"Gracie, if you are worried about my car?, don't, okay. I will buy one soon and take care of your knuckles if you get inside."
I sighed.
"Okay, sorry about that"
"No problem"
She released me and I went inside after opening the door. Huddy welcomed me and looked worried when she saw my expression.
"Did something happen or what, why the long face?"
"I broke a glass and I feel terrible about it."
"A glass, you said?" How come?"
Huddy asked.
"I don't even know. I can't explain it. "That's by the way, how are you?"
"I am fine only that your friend is sleeping on the bed. He did not chase me away so don't think because he is on the bed is the reason why I woke up. In fact, it was when I woke up that I saw him"
I blinked at Huddy, why would Theophilus be here and be sleeping on my bed. Has he suddenly gone homeless?"
I turned and walked towards my room without saying anything to Huddy.
I got to my room and he was fast asleep on my bed, occupying every space like it is his bed.
I tapped him on the shoulder and he stirred then opened his eyes and smiled at me.
"What's up, beautiful?"
He asked, smiling, I had to roll my eyes to what he said.
"What is not up, handsome? Get down from my bed and go home"
I said and he widened his eyes when he saw himself withering away. I stared at the empty space where he laid some seconds ago. I was confused by what happened. This is the second that it's happening. Each time I tell him to go home, he withers away without his will, why?
Theopihilus' point of view….
I found myself ony bed, still looking surprised. How in the world is she controlling me like that? I was confused not just confused but so confused. Who the hell is she?
"Theopihilus!"
I turned and it was Tiana. When did she get here?
"What's going on?"
She asked.
"What's going on where?"
"Don't play dumb with me. What's going on between you and that Human girl?"
She asked sternly and I hissed in my mind.
"How I wish something is going on"
I said to myself and looked up at her.
"Do you see something or you know something that I don't know?"
"Suddenly, you have learnt how to talk and that's a good thing but I thought to remind you that you have only one mate and that's Abigail. I am sure you know how witches and metas works, don't make that mistake of falling for that girl because it's going to be disastrous"
This lady keeps lecturing me.
"You don't have to remind me, I know all that. You can go know, don't come and annoy me more with your words"
I said and she chuckles.
"The Southern prince has suddenly got fade up about me because he is crushing on a human girl. Bye Theopihilus"
She said and left. Annoying bitch. That's what she is.
Writer's point of view….
Nature has been watching the whole drama going on. She has seen the black lady who has visited Gracie at the restaurant, although she did not get to make out her face but she is sure it's one person and why would she pay Gracie a visit? Unless, they are linked together. She did not also miss the drama that happened when Lucy and Gracie was on their way to buy ice cream. She was still surprised on how Gracie was able to break the glass just like that.
