Chapter 387 Livrus' Necklace

Theopihilus point of view….

We said nothing to each other until we arrived at the place dad wanted to show me something. It was a deep valley and the way he goes about the place, it looks like he comes here regularly.

He bent down and dug something out of the ground.

He dusted the stuff he got from the ground and I  stretched my neck to see what it was.

It was wrapped up in an ancient leaf. This leaf has a rusting resistance.

He unwrapped the leaf to reveal a wooden box and when he opened the box, a necklace lay inside. The sun rays hit it and it sparkles.

   "Dad, it's a magic necklace"

I said. I know it was one and there was no need playing dumb by asking if the necklace is magical or not.

"Yes, my mom gave it to me when she was about to transform and asked me to give it to you. It belongs to Lordress Livrus, my grandmother. She gave it to my dad who in turn gave it to my mom and mom passed it to me on the instruction to give it to you when you are ready to take your bride home."

He said and handed the necklace to me.

"But dad, why do you have to bury it here?"

"I had to because my mother, your grandmother asked me to do so."

He replied.

I had to think why he had to bury the necklace here when there are other places who could have kept it or given it to my mom then when it's my bride's turn,it will be given to her. I am just going to turn twenty in a few days and it seems there is more I don't know.

I have not bothered to ask questions in the past because I had no reason to ask but right now, a lot is priquing my interest and I am going to start asking until I know at least half of what the past was.

"But dad,why did you not give it to mom then mom will hand it over to Abigail?"

He looked at me and thought for a while.

"It was not meant for your mom. Abigail is the reincarnated Livrus. So the Queen strictly ordered that it should be handed over to her reincarnated self"

He explained and I shook my head indicating that I understood.

I delicately held the necklace and we left the valley. I know our journey today has not ended. We still have many places to go to, new places and old places.

Nora's point of view….

I was on my way to Abigail's room like I do every morning since she was a kid. I took it upon myself to wake her up every Morning.

Her dad had fought with me severally concerning my attitude. He once said that when Abigail leaves here, I would not have to wake her up like I am doing now. It was time to stop the pamper and let her face life. I would not say I pampered Abigail, I always have a soft spot for kids and it's hurt to see them hurt.

Ben I thought that was going to be the one who is going to be great with our kids turned out to be the strict one. It was just Abigail because I was not able to have kids after her and there is no one to share my attention with her except Ben.

I opened her door and she laid so lazily on the bed. I chuckled to myself, someone who is getting a new life in a few days time.

This daughter of mine loves no stress.

I tapped her and she opened her eyes.

"Mom good morning"

"Good morning darling, hope you had a wonderful night' rest?"

  "I did"

She said and closed her eyes.

"Mom, is it morning yet? I don't feel like getting up. I feel so lazy this morning."

"You are like this every morning so I am not surprised but get up I need to talk to you"

She grunted and rose up from the bad and sat upright.

She looks so pretty but the funny thing is, she does not look like me. She looks like Sharon which is to say, she has her dad's look yet the two are not so friendly. The daughter and father relationship has grown from bad to worse and my efforts to make them get along, proves so abortive.

"Mom, can you be fast? I need to go back to sleep. It's too early for me to be wake"
