I was surprised when she mentioned Huddy talking to them about me.
"Huddy never said anything about you."
I voiced out.
"Well there are a lot of things you are yet to know. She did not mention it to you does not sound unlike her, it's her way anyway. We are happy to finally meet you"
One of the unicorns that made themselves known said,
"I am Ballerina and my sister here is Liana, she is the leader of the unicorns so don't mind her arrogant self.
She further said and I chuckled.
Liana rolled her eyes and walked off and some of the unicorns followed her leaving some and Ballerina, who continue to chuckle.
I shook my head.
"I thought as much. Nice to meet you too but I have a question, does this place exist?"
"Does which place exist, Gracie?"
I heard Lucy's voice behind me and I turned towards her as she stared at me as if I was going insane.
"Who are you talking to, Gracie?"
I looked around and the garden was nowhere in sight. It was just a plain grassland behind my apartment. I blinked my eyes and stared at her.
"Was I talking to anybody?"
I asked her, looking confused.
"Gracie, you were. I have been hearing your voice for a long time and I thought to come check if a family member of yours visited you but when I got here, I saw you talking to no one in sight.
"I was not talking to anybody, maybe I was just admiring the beauty of the grassland. How come there is a grassland here?"
She shook her head not believing my explanation.
"Whatever Gracie, you are such a weirdo. The former owner planted this grass. I heard she cherished it when she was alive. Anyway since you are talking to the grass I will leave you to continue taking to it, bye"
She said and walked away, probably walking back to her house.
Immediately, she left, the garden appeared back and I saw Huddy laughing at a corner.
"Soon enough, she will think you are insane"
She said still, laughing
"Whatever"
I muttered, turned and walked back inside with Huddy hopping behind me.
Theopihilus's point of view…..
I found the necklace box lying carelessly on the floor. I picked it and stared at it. A thought came to my mind.
What if I make something that looks like this and give it to Abigail then give Gracie this one. I bet this necklace likes her. I don't know why I feel obliged to give it to Gracie when it belongs to Abigail. What could be wrong with me?. Choosing another over my mate.
I shook the thought off my head in order not to feel guilty.
I remembered a blacksmith I once came across, he would do exactly what I want.
He lives far in the east. I closed my palms over the box and disappeared, the next thing, I found myself at his place.
"What is the Southern Prince doing at my place?"
He asked the moment he saw me. He was looking quite old compared to the last time I saw him.
"I brought a job for you. I want a replica of this necklace"
I said, showing him the necklace. He took it and examined it.
"This necklace is one of its kind. It's an ancient necklace. Why do you want a replica?"
He asked and I felt I owe him no explanation but on second thought I decided to answer him.
"The necklace is for the two persons and there is no way I will give one necklace to two persons so making a replica is the only answer."
"Hmmm, I hope you give the original necklace to the rightful owner"
He said and began working. There was nothing to think about his last words. Abigail will not find out I gave the original Necklace to another person.
Thirty minutes later, he was done and handed the two necklaces to me. The replica was glowing more than the original and smiled in appreciation to the man. I had a second thought of giving the new one to Gracie but I realized it would be unfair to Abigail. Let me give her the new one. It will be my compensation for giving out her necklace to a stranger.
I paid the man and returned back to South, Mission accomplished.
