And the gossip began amongst the servants and maid of honors.
“Could it be that they were fighting because of a woman?." One of the maids asks the other.
“I heard it was Benjamin’s wife, I mean they were supposed to get married right? but now Ken has snatched her from him." The other maid said.
“God forbid, I have never seen a guy who likes women like Ken," the first maid said.
“Womanizer!" The second maid said snapping her fingers in front of her and looking at Miriam the maid Ken once slept with.
“So why are you looking at me like that?" Miriam asks making a face.
“Nothing, I just thought that you may by chance know exactly what is going on in there" pointing in the direction of Ken’s room.
“You better mind the way you talk to me," Miriam said, so furious, but she didn't know if is Ken she was angry at right now or this stupid girl.
“Or what?" She asks ready to start a fight.
“Please, you guys should not start a fight here, because I won't know how to explain your fight to madam, I'm begging you guys" the third maid pleaded with them sarcastically.
Ben left ken’s room coved in blood. Getting to his quarters his mother was shocked to see him covered in blood.
“What happens to you and why the blood?"
“Mom, this is it, Ken took my woman, had sex with her, and pick a fight with me."
“OMG! You are not joking, right?" His mother asks covering her mouth with both hands.
"That is the height of it, are you sure of what you are saying? And did you go there to fight him?"
“I was only there to ask Gina what she was doing in Ken’s room, but then ken picks a fight with me."
“Now let me get this straight," his mother said. “How did Gina get to know Ken?"
“That is what I'm yet to find out ”.
“I knew it, this is his wicked mother’s doing and I'm going to deal with her squarely," she said and with that, she stormed out of the house want straight to kens mother’s quarters and the second round of fight began.
Mr. Jackson was so disappointed with the whole saga going on within his household, he has always known that the two women and their sons were not always on good terms, but this! No, this is way too much for him to overlook.
He has never had to deal with such kind of fight and damage in his house.
Phone in hand calling Mr. Georges's attention to what has just happened.,
“What! Why? How? Where's Gina?"
“I don’t know, she is nowhere to be found at this time, or maybe she's still in kens quarters who knows but you need to come down here." He hangup.
In less than five minutes Mr. George was in Jackson’s house scanning everywhere for his daughter who is now missing from Jackson’s mansion.
Getting to ken’s door Mr. George knocks but no one is answering, turning to leave he saw ken coming out from his mother’s room.
“Good evening sir," he bows to greet him.
“Evening to you too and where is my daughter?"
“She left without saying where she was going, sir."
Mr. George didn’t say any more words to Ken he just turn and left.
Gina is now facing the dilemma of her life, what is she going to tell her father? And what in the world just happen? is she dreaming or what? What is going to happen to her now?.
A million questions with no answer. Who will she run to now, she can’t go home to her father; she is too embarrassed to face him now, and she can’t return to the Jacksons, they might chop her to pieces.
She could only think of one person; yes! That would be Patrick.
“Thank goodness Patrick is around," she muttered. He has always been the only friend she had, and he is willing to hear her out without judging her.
“Patrick! I'm finished, I'm finished," she started to sob once Patrick opens the door to see who was knocking at his door by this time of the day.
“hey, calm down what’s going on with you and why are you crying?"
“Patrick, I mess everything up, I'm done for, my father will kill me"
Patrick held her and brought her into the house.
“Okay, can you calm down and tell me what is going on with you?"
“Benjamin caught me with his brother Ken, is….."
“What! I mean How?" Patrick yells cutting her off.
Gina could only roll her eyes at Patrick, seeing the way he was shouting the What! And How?.
"You mean that guy we saw in the other quarters?" He asks.
“Yes”.
“Fu*k!" was all Patrick could say and looking at Gina as if to say, "you fucked up”
But Gina understands Patrick perfectly well, “I know I fucked up, I shouldn’t have given in to Ken’s pressure to stay with him in his room, is all my fault, I have to run away when the fight was beyond me, I don’t want his parents to see I like this."
“Goodness!" was all Patrick could say again.
“Please Patrick, say something, you are not helping at all, what do you think I should do?"
“You stay here until we figure out what to do next okay."
Gina could no longer hold the tears in, so she let them all out making it hard for Patrick to keep a distance.
Patrick pulls closer to her and had to console her by singing her favorite song.
“I know what you're doing, Patrick I'm no longer a baby you know?"
“But you're behaving like one, so I better sing you a song to make you calm down, my litter sis huh…."
“Thank you, Patrick, I don’t know what I do without you."
“Is okay, everything will be fine, I know so."
At the Jackson family, the fire seems not to be going out as Benjamin was threatening fire and brimstone without even taking into consideration that their father is now home.
Mr. Jackson was not pleased with all this, so he calls off the marriage engagement between his son and Gina telling Mr. George to his face that his daughter is not fit to be a part of his family. And he should considered the collaboration deal conceal, and he threatens to take over the Wendy Group of Companies if Mr. George did not return the money he owns him in a month.
Mr. George could take anything except for someone to call his daughter a prostitute, he has raised his daughter to be a good girl and as such would not take that insult from Mr. Jackson.
He threatened to sue Mr. Jackson and his sons if should anything happen to his daughter.
Leaving Jackson’s compound Mr. George went to look for where he could find Gina, but the only place he could think of looking, was Patrick’s place, is only reasonable for Gina to want to go to Patrick at this time, he thought.
Arriving there he founds out that Gina has been there but not anymore.
“She just left," Patrick lied, but he had to because Gina don’t want to face her father, at least not yet.
Patrick then offers Mr. George to help look for Gina. Even though he knew where she is.
With that, Mr. George went back home not knowing which one to think of, if he should think of Gina’s disappearance or the fact that the deal with Mr. Jackson was called off, or the fact that he is going to lose everything he has been fighting to save by using his daughter as a wager.
“Oh my God!," this is all his fault, now his dear Gina has to go through all of this. Why is life so cruel to him? he has given it his all, what else could he have done that he has not already done?.
He could only wish for Gina to come back home safe. Because even though something bad happens to Gina he didn't think he has enough money for a lawsuit against the most powerful businessman like Mr. Jackson.
[back at Jackson’s mansion]
“Ken, I don’t believe you could do such a thing, how could you go ahead to take over your brother’s woman?"
“Mom, she's not Benjamin’s woman, she is mine, I told you how I met her, she is the reason why I came back because I wanted to go look for her. She’s mine and I will not allow anyone to tell me otherwise, as a matter of fact, am still going out there to look for her."
“I will not allow you to bring more shame to this family, for god sake, there are thousand and one women out there who are willing to fall at your feet and kiss them, why must it be this one that Benjamin wants?"
“Well I don’t know mom, and I don’t want to know because as far as I know, the girl in question doesn’t love Benjamin, is me she loves.
