Chapter 31: The Blackmail
"I might not need any extra money, I already have close to a million dollars in my account, so I can just withdraw $200k from it if the need arise"- I replied with a smile
"I won't advise you to do that, your personal savings should be invested in profit things like housing and others. I would give you the $200k, keep saving the one in your bank account because you need it for something far more important than a vacation with your friends"- She replied
Damn, I was so full of joy to hear those words from her. Can't believe she would be this caring for me
"Thank you so much mom, you are just the best"- I replied while standing up to give her a warm hug
She held me tight and gave me a kiss on the cheek
"But before I forget, I would like to discuss something important with you and you are the only person I can trust"- sure replied
"What's that mother?"- I asked with curiosity
"I would like to invite Gabriel's parents and offer them a job in the company, at least let me use this opportunity to be close to them and get to flow with them more. what do you think?"- She asked
"Depends on their profession, and the salary Involved"- I replied
"Son, anyone can fit into any position for money. If they don't meet the criteria, then I will pay for a corrosive training for the both of them.
Gabriel's mother is my close friend and I can't bear to see them suffer again in life"- she said
"But you helped them with $800k the other day, I think that would solve 80% of their problems for the main time"- I replied while resting my back on the soft chair.
"Yes that's true. But I believe that the money might not be able to hold keep them together for a long while. i need to employ them and put them on a good payroll"- she replied with a smile
It's up to her to decide that, I am just a managing director for now. She is the CEO, so she has the right to employ anybody that she wants.
"That's okay, mom. Let me get back to my office now"- I replied while taking my Leave

Andrew's POV
I rested for a while before standing up to stretch my body, I am quite bored at the moment and it's also funny that I have a lot of paper work to do.
But I can always get back to it later or I will just sort out the important ones first. I switched on the television in my office while sitting down to watch my favorite cartoon "spongebob squarepants". I love that cartoon so much, it makes me smile
I stayed at the office for a long time, waiting for the right time to go home and I surely know my dad would be home by now.
I already have an uneasy feeling about the meeting, what does he want to say to me. Or does he want to inform me about another decision that has been taken without my consent?
so many thoughts ran through my mind, and in the midst of this, my secretary walked in
"Good afternoon sir I just wanted to confirm if everything is alright. You looked quite upset back there in the conference room
Hope everything is okay?"- she asked
what sort of nonsense is this by the way, since when do people start approaching me whenever they notice a slight change in my mood?.
I feel she is here for something but I can't actually put my fingers on it
"Well, I was just tired that's all. But I am fine now"- I replied with a smile
"Are you sure about that?"- She replied while locking the door
This just got weird right now and I am already feeling uncomfortable at this moment.
She walked up to me and sat down on my laps while rubbing my hair
"I saw the way you stared at my butt when we on the way to the conference room. I have a crush on you and I have been scared to say it all these while
I really want you to be mine and mine forever"- She replied, trying to seduce me by rubbing my chest and removing my shirt gently

she has no idea that she is the one whose story would be on the news for trying to seduce and blackmail her boss
"Well, we can settle this here and now if you can transfer a million dollars to my bank account. That way I would keep my mouth shut and we both part ways and act as if nothing ever happened"- She replied while taking a seat on my desk
"So you actually planned to blackmail me and you think you would go scout free like this?"- I asked
She paused for a minute, obviously trying to reason some things out for herself. Maybe she wants to reconsider her offer
"You seem to forget that you are the one at fault her, it's just remaining five minutes for the workers to close for the day. so once I scream, everybody would rush in here and find you guilty of rape"- She replied with a devilish smile on her face
She has no idea of the plan that I have in stock for her, she would be quite surprised when I reveal it to her. Let me prolong it and see whether she was sent by someone to commit this act.
"Tell me what you stand to gain if you should rob me of a million dollars right now?"- I asked with curiosity
"Well, it would be enough for me to relocate to Canada with my boyfriend, he recently won a lottery of 500,000 dollars, so it would be enough for us to start a new life over there"- She replied
"So why the do you want to rob me of my hard earned money when you boyfriend clearly meets the criteria of a an average rich dude?"- I replied
"You make me laugh, I don't care what you want you think, all I want is my cash or else you will face the consequences"- She threatened
"Who sent you to do this, just tell me and I would tamper justice with mercy on your case"- I replied with a soft voice
she laughed for some minutes before calming down to listen to my speech
"And why would I tell you that, it doesn't matter anyway. you have no choice. so just give me the money let me leave here right now"- she replied
I walked around her for a while before placing my hands on her shoulder
"It might interest you to know that this room is heavily packed with hidden cameras to record all the events that happen in here for security purposes
I initially thought it was a waste of resources at first, but I can see now that it has become a life saver. As we speak right now, everything that you said is being recorded in the ICT department and once I leave this place I would head there at once and demand for the video footage. seems you are going to be popular on the news tomorrow morning"- I replied with a smile
She stood there in shock as tears rolled down her eyes. she couldn't believe her ears and it was if her whole world crumbled before her very eyes.
It was funny to see her look so dilapidated and short of words after revealing the truth and after a while, she fell to the ground and held my legs
"Please sir, don't do this to me. I will explain everything, but please don't send this video to the news station. My life would be ruined forever sir
I will kill myself, please don't do this to me"- she cried out with so much tears in her eyes
I smiled at her and carefully took my seat to hear what she has to say
"Alright then, let me hear what you have to say about this whole blackmail plan of yours and I want you to reveal every single detail or I would make sure you rot in jail for as long as I want.
And of course, you know what would happen if my father should find out that his staff tried to blackmail his own son. He would go any length to make you and your family suffer"- I threatened her this time
She sat on the floor while trying to wipe off her tears with her handkerchief
"My boyfriend brought about the idea that we should blackmail you and use the money to process our visas and travel documents and some other essential things.
He actually won the lottery yesterday but he was still greedy about spending a dime from the money until we get to Canada, so he asked me to use this means to blackmail you. And if you should agree to pay the cash, he also said that I should expose you immediately you make the transfer.
so that we he can sue your dad and this whole company for damages. We were planning to make close to ten million dollars from the whole blackmail issue.
And above all, our main goal was to make sure that this company doesn't see another day in this country. Because nobody would ever want to work in a company where the manager rapes and sexually molest his staffs"- she replied with shattered voice
I felt so weak when she revealed her aim, I never knew some people could be this heartless in life. What have I done to deserve such cruel treatment from someone I call my staff.
I treat everyone with care and I mostly look out for most of the workers here during their time of need, so why would anyone plan to ridicule my name. Imagine what would become of me if my father finds out that I raped a girl, I might even be disowned by parents if the news should hit social media
"Do you know the gravity of what you just did, And as it stands now, perhaps I would be the one to sue you for blackmail"- I replied while walking out of the office
She grabbed by leg and I fell to the ground with a great force, my nose started bleeding and I screamed out in pain.
She tried to cover my mouth so that no one can hear me, but I pushed her way with my hands covered in blood
"I'm so sorry sir, I didn't plan for this to happen, it was a mistake"- she replied with tears in her eyes while trying to calm me down amidst my bleeding nose
"Get away from me you Jezebel, don't come close to me or else I would give you a punch in the eye"- I threatened her while trying to stand up and run out of the office.
I opened the door and everyone was surprised to see me with a bleeding nose, I didn't even pay attention to their expressions. I went straight to the ICT office to demand for the video, I would send this to my dad immediately
I don't want him to hear the story from another source other than me
"Sir please I am begging you, don't do this to me. please forgive me, I promise to leave and never return back to work"- She screamed while running after me
I have never seen anything like this before in my entire life, what have I done to deserve this kind of blackmail, embarrassment and a bleeding nose as a bonus
