"Do you know your problem?. You worry too much about what others think, how on earth did you know that no married woman will cope with the fact that she is married to a cheating husband.
She will only be able to find out if the man is stupid. Because if someone like me should ever want to cheat, nobody would ever find out about it, I can assure you that"- He replied
"Seems that you are already planning to cheat on your wife"- I replied with a smile while trying to pull his legs
"You better keep quite now. Don't you know that we are in a party, or do you want my wife to hear us?"- He replied, looking so serious like someone who drank a bottle filled with dry gin
"Alright then, I will keep it down as long as we go straight to what started this conversation in the first place"- I replied, trying to bring his attention back to the pressing issue at hand
"I have already told you what to do. You just have to follow the process judiciously without mistakes or else you are gone and she will never fall it again"- He replied
My phone started ringing and when I brought it out to check who is calling, it was my wife.
I looked at Ramsey, not knowing what to do right now. Should I ignore the call?
"Pick up the call pal. Or are you planning to ignore it"- He asked
"I don't know what to tell her. And I don't even know why she's calling me now, perhaps she is at home right now"- I replied
"Now's the perfect time to execute all that I have told you. Put the phone on loudspeaker so that I will be able guide you through without mistakes"- He replied
I picked up the call and remained silent for a while, I want to know what she has in mind
"Good afternoon my dear husband, please where are you"- She asked with a soft voice
"Am at a party right now. Ramsey is celebrating his birthday today so I decided to join him and make it a memorable event"- I replied while staring at Ramsey who was busy with his phone
"Oh should I come over to his house so that I can also wish him happy birthday in person?"- She asked
"No you can't, that's not necessary at all"- I replied without even thinking
The words just flew out of my mouth like magic, I can't let her come hear and ruin my chance to catch some fun. Perhaps I'm being too faithful nowadays, look at all the beautiful ladies here
They are far more beautiful than my wife and I can bet that they are all single. This is just so amazing!
"Why do you say so. Or are you lying to me?, because I see no reason why I shouldn't be at your friends birthday party when you are there too"- She replied, sounding so authoritative
That reply nearly forced some words out of my mouth, but I have to keep cool because I would blow up my chances of winning her heart and soul even before I get started. So let me keep it on a low key
"You don't need to start thinking that way my love. You know I can't lie to the only woman in my life, the lady that gives me joy everyday.
I don't want you to stress yourself because the party might soon be over and perhaps you won't even know the exact location. So instead of driving round without direction, why not just stay at home and wait for my return. I won't stay long honey"- I replied with a smile
She was quiet for some time, I haven't replied her like that in such a long time and I can place a bet on it that she would be surprised to hear me call her all those pet names. I am not familiar with all those sick pet names, I only use them on few occasions but it seems I will have to use it more often since I want to start a new game with her
"Alright, I will be waiting for you. Have you making any efforts to find or track down our son's location. Sorry to ask this now, i just wanna be sure that you have him in mind"- She asked with a weird voice
"Not yet my dear, let me give Andrew some space for now. He will always be at the center of my heart, perhaps I should relax and wait for him to return whenever he wants"- I replied
"That's very kind of you, at least it would give him more time to enjoy his vacation with his friends"- She replied
"Please come again, I didn't hear your last reply"- I replied, pretending not to hear what she said
"I mean giving him more space would help him think more about his actions"- she replied
She thought I didn't hear what she said at first, seems she knows his whereabouts after all. Ramsey was right, my wife is a crook and a good pretender, no wonder she wants to know about every move I take towards finding Andrew, so that she can inform the stubborn goat
The both of them will receive the shock of their lives by the time I am done
"Okay dear. I will see you in a bit"- I replied and cut the call
My facial expression somehow changed and all I could think of was how to lay my hands on that son of mine and skin him alive, he thinks he can toil with me and get away with it. He might be my only son, but that doesn't mean he can't be replaced if the need should arise
Ramsey smiled at me like someone who successfully robbed a bank, seems he has been eavesdropping on my phone call
"I told you your wife knows everything about your son's whereabouts and she has just proved that fact to you today. Do you know see that everything I am doing for you would benefit you greatly"- He replied
"Yes, don't worry pal. I won't spoil the plan, it will go as planned, I am sure the word slipped away from her mouth by mistake.
Thank God i pretended not to hear it. she thinks she is wise"- I replied and we both burst into laughter
"That's okay. Now enough talking, let's dance, today is my big day and I want everyone to dance with me"- He spoke out loud and dragged me to the dance floor like a little kid
The DJ turned up the level of the music and everywhere was completely engulfed with pop jazz. I moved my body a little like an old grandpa till a lady walked up to me as asked me if I want to dance with her. Damn, this lady is hot and beautiful at the same time
I ran out of words so I simply nodded my head and grabbed her waist softly. Oh my God, it felt like heaven, so soft
Seems my wife has become too old for me, I need to move out with fresh bloods. Perhaps cheating on her a little while won't hurt
"You seem so skillful on the dance floor"- She said
And at that moment, the DJ changed the music to a smooth love song and everywhere became calm like still waters. Never knew people would still love this old school song
"Yes. Perhaps we should take our time and flow with the rhythm of this lovely song"- I replied with a smile and dragged her close to my face, allowing her breast to rub my chest. It felt so good and relaxing at the same time.
We danced for a while and the sweet sensation brought our lips together till the crazy DJ screamed out loud like chicken who got raped
"Make some noise for our celebrant. If you are happy to be here today, I want you to take a glass of red wine and let's make a cheers to Mr Ramsey on the occasion of his birthday"- The DJ screamed out loud
We all obeyed and grabbed a glass of red wine from the waitress in the bar and Ramsey however came on board as all eyes were on him
"I want to thank you all for this moment and taking out time out of your busy schedules to be here today. It's an honor and I must appreciate you for it.
Few years back, I was broke like heck and I can't even remember how I survived those days of hunger strike. But here I am today, standing before wealthy men and women like you all. We have indeed come so far and once again I would say thank you to my beautiful wife over there and all my best friends and colleagues who left their homes to be with me today. You all are amazing"- He said and everyone screamed his name in excitement
One thing that I know for sure is that Ramsey is very kind to people and he is very friendly, no wonder he has a large number of friends and business partners. I have a lot to learn from him though, but I believe everything will fall in place.
We all drank and danced till we became tired and when I checked my time, it was already 8:PM. Guess I would get home late, but that doesn't matter to me at all
"Hey there pal. Meet my beautiful wife Maria Gates"- Ramsey called out to me with a woman and a tall handsome boy by his side, perhaps his son
"How are you doing beautiful queen. Nice to meet you, my name is Phillip"- I replied with a smile on my face
"You look so responsible and adorable at the same time. Nice to meet you too"- She replied and gave me a warm hug
I never really expected that though and the look on Ramsey's face shows that he is not happy with the fact that his wife is hugging me like she knew me before.
"Have you met him before?"- Ramsey asked his wife
"I've never met a man like him before, he looks so cute and responsible. A young man like him won't find it hard to get married to a beautiful lady who will bear him beautiful kids"- She replied
I nearly burst into laughter, but I controlled myself so that I don't try to make a scene or make her look stupid in any way. She has no idea that I'm a married man, perhaps I look quite young to be married
Ramsey on the other hand, nearly fell to the ground as a result of his laughter. He seemed quite amused by his wife's reply
"Why are you laughing like a chipmunk?. What's funny my love"- She asked in confusion
"This dude you are seeing over here is already married and he has a son who is over the age of eighteen or nineteen"- Ramsey replied after calming down from his outburst
His wife stood there in shock, she couldn't believe her ears. Perhaps she was thinking that maybe I'm still in my early twenties or thirties.
This lady has no idea that she is talking with a young old man
"He's right. I'm married and I have a grown up son"- I replied, backing up Ramsey's statement
"That's amazing. Is your wife here? what about your son?. I would love to see the both of them"- She replied with a broad smile which sent some chills down my spine
"They are not here right now. My son is on vacation and my wife went to the salon this morning. That's why they couldn't show up for the party"- I replied
She smiled and walked away, I felt some kind of relief when she left and I sat down on the stool close to the bar while sipping some pineapple juice.
"I think it's time for us to eat and end this party with another dance round. What do you guys think"- Ramsey called out to everyone
