Chapter 55

I quickly dashed off to the bathroom to take my bath and get ready for Ramsey's bug party. It's going to be fun and thank God my wife is not around now if not, she would have insisted to follow me

  And that would have jeopardize the meeting I am going to have with Ramsey and his friend. 

I finished up few minutes later and when straight to get my car keys, the security guard was the one washing the car and he was almost done when I got there 

"The car is almost ready sir, just give me few seconds to dry off the remaining water on the body"- He replied with a smile 

I gave him little time to finish up while I scrolled through my what's app chat and I went to Andrew's chat with me. I could see that he was seen online around 12:30pm.

  So that means, he is actually safe wherever he is. Because a kidnapped victim would definitely not have an opportunity to come online on what's app, he should keep on enjoying his moment because I would eventually catch him and when I do, I will treat him like a thief.

I drove off few minutes later and when I got to Ramsey's place, the party had already started. So much people came to the party and I need to locate Ramsey at this point.

"Hey, What's up Philip. I am over here"- Ramsey called out to me from his garden

"Happy birthday my man, many more years to come and I will always be here to celebrate it with you"- I replied with a smile 

He hugged me and we both walked inside with joy and excitement, it was nice to hang out with my old pal once more. Remember those days when we were so broke and hopeless, Ramsey has being a good friend since the very day I met him.

  Few years ago, we both had nothing and life was like a living hell for the both of us and I can't forget the day I slept with no food in my stomach. Had to work as a dish washer before I was able to save enough cash and design a game and ever since then our stories changed. Ramsey has his own company, but he creates apps for banks and he is making a lot of cash from it on a daily basis.

"Hey, do you remember when he went to the mall that day with no money in our pockets?"- Ramsey called out to me 

"Yes bro. I remember every bit of it. But seriously, where you going to steal that shoe?"- I asked with a weird smile 

"Yes man, I was ready to do anything to get that shoe at that very moment and if stealing was the only option. Then I would have stole it"- Ramsey replied boldly

I was quite surprised by his response, that very day, we walked into the mail with absolutely no cash on our pockets. But we both had the belief that everything would be okay and we would walk home with something.

  Ramsey stared at a shoe for a while an he tried to quickly remove the shoe and launch it into his big bag when a lady caught us. At that moment, I froze, knowing fully ware that we could go y jail if the lady reports us to the security

But she smiled at us and asked us to take whatever we want and she would foot the bills. The joy in my heart that day knew no bounds, it was like a dream come true for the both of us and we simply took a pair of shoe and some clothes. We didn't want to be greedy and to out surprise, the lady paid for everything and told us not to try such actions again or else we might get caught next time.

"You know if that lady had reported us to the police, we would have gone to jail"- I replied

"You are right. But luck was on our side all through, but now we can literally afford anything we want. At this very point in our lives, we could even go to that same mall and buy it for ourselves.

  We might even give everything to charity"- Ramsey spoke out loud

We walked into his living room and I was surprised to see a lot of people who turned up for the party. Ramsey said it was going to be a low key party, but this is definitely the opposite of low key.

  The number of people present here are up to 100. How's that low key

"What about you wife?. She refused to follow you to my party?"- He asked 

"She went out of the house even before I woke up this morning, my maid said she went to the salon to fix her hair. But I don't know if that's true.

  She could have gone to see Andrew in his hiding place, I don't trust her anymore. Not after she changed few days ago"- I replied, looking so sad 

"Don't worry about that my man. It's none of our business if she is lying or telling the truth, if you properly follow all my techniques, you will be able to get her down and force your way into her memory hard drive."- He replied while tapping me on the shoulder

"That's correct, and I am even glad she didn't follow me here. At least we would have time to properly continue our discussion on the phone"- I replied

"That's what I am talking about. Before I forget, let me introduce you to my lovely wife, the woman that gives me joy everyday.

   The woman that obeys my command at every given opportunity, she doesn't question my authority at all"- He replied with a smile on his face 

"Seems you have already tied her down like a chicken with this technique of yours"- I replied, looking a bit uncomfortable with the way he talked about his wife 

"You are really funny. I didn't do much, I just applied what I call mental power"- He said

What does he mean by mental power, seems Ramsey has really changed over the years. Look at the way he is acting so mature and authoritative

"What do you mean by mental power my man"- I asked out of curiosity, while taking my seat on one of the soft chairs close to the bar 

He brought out some wine from the shelf and turned some of it's content into two glass cups. The party had already started and everyone was busy dancing and chatting

"You have a lot of things to learn about women. And I will put you through every step you need to take to be able to achieve everything you want in your home"- He replied and took a sip from his drink

Am getting quite confused at this point, he still hasn't told me about the mental power he is talking about. He is just increasing my curiosity level with each passing moment

"Alright, I am ready to learn from the one and only relationship guru"- I replied with a smile boldly written on my face 

"You see, women love their husbands with their whole heart and they are ready to do anything to please them. But we the men, we love with our heads and not the heart, that what makes us different and strong.

  A man who loves with the heart will only end up suffering like you when his wife start misbehaving. But if you love with your head, you will be able to figure out some hidden things in your relationship."- He replied

I remained silent for a while, trying to assimilate what he just said, am I really loving with my heart and not my head?. I can't even tell the difference anymore, do I let me emotions take control of my judgement?.

  Perhaps he is right, all these while. I have been expressing my love towards my wife with my whole heart. I have never for once used my head to figure out that she disobeying my authorities until now

"Are you okay?"- Ramsey asked, trying to snap me out of my deep thoughts

"Am good bro. I just took my time to carefully adjust what you said to what's currently happening in my own"- I replied

"And what have you found out so far?"- He asked 

"I found out that I have been using heart to love when I should use my head"- I replied while trying to take a sip from my drink

"Now you see that all I am saying is true. You have to use your head or else you will loose your place as the man of the house. Imagine your wife now hides information about your own son.  Does that not sound crazy to you?"- He asked with anger on his face 

"Yes, it does sounds crazy. I am his father and also the man of the house, so I deserve to know everything single thing happening in my home"- I replied

A cute lady walked up to us and congratulated Ramsey on the occasion of his 34th birthday celebration

"Can't believe you going to be 34 years old today"- The lady called out to Ramsey who was busy smiling all through

"Yes, it's amazing right?. God has been kind to me all these years and I can't thank him enough for the good health and increased wealth"- He replied with a smile 

"Well, won't you dance with us. I mean, it's your birthday, you should be showcasing your dance skills"- The lady suggested 

Ramsey looked at me after the lady replied him, he made it look as if I was the one who was holding him back 

"I'm in a deep conversation with my friend here and we will join you guys soon"- He replied

"Alright then. Nice to meet you handsome"- She called out to me 

Handsome?. this is hilarious, but I was quite happy that someone called me a handsome dude. Even my own wife doesn't call that anymore, she has changed totally

"Thanks. you look pretty too"- I replied

"Oh thank you. I guess you are single right?"- She asked with a smile 

I looked at Ramsey's face, not knowing what to reply. Telling her that I am single would be cheating and I wouldn't want to cheat on my wife.

  Even though she is quite annoying, she is still my wife and the mother of my child

"No. I'm married"- I replied with a grin 

"Wow, that's cool. Is she here?, I would love to see her beautiful face"- She asked 

"No. she couldn't make it to the party. But maybe you will see her some other time if our paths cross again"- I replied

She smiled and walked away with a bottle Eva wine in her hands. 

"Why didn't you tell her you are single. There is no harm in hanging out with another lady"- Ramsey called out to me immediately the lady left our presence

"Why would I do that. I'm already married and that would be cheating"- I replied with a serious look 

Ramsey smiled for a while and took a long sip from his glass. The wine in the glass is almost finished and I wonder if he would pour in another one 

"So you still remain faithful to her even when she disobeys your orders and treat you like scum"- He replied with a nasty look

My wife is really annoying, I know that for sure. But cheating on her is definitely not the best way to solve the issue, it will only lead to more problems in my home and I don't want that to happen at all. I value the little peace I have right now and giving room to cheating would make me loose my son and my wife forever

"I can't cheat on her, I still love her with all my heart and I wouldn't want her to eventually find out that I am hanging out with another lady behind her back. No married woman would take such nonsense"- I replied with a smile
