"You are right, but how do I let go of one?"- He asked
"You need to let drop that lustful nature of yours and love your wife more than any other thing in the world. She is beautiful right?"- My husband asked
"Yes of course"- He replied
"She is hard working and she takes good care of you and your kids right?"- My husband asked
"Yes"- He replied
"She also ensures that you don't go through issues that are bothering you alone. Right?"- My husband asked
"Yes"- He replied
"Then why can't you love and adore her the way she is. If you want a big backside, you can talk to her about it and the both of you can come up with something.
She can either go for a surgery or use some natural and healthy means, why would you let something that doesn't even matter to ruin your perfect home. Have you ever thought of how your children will feel when they learn that you are cheating on their mother?"- My husband asked
"I have never really thought of that. But they are still young, they might not even understand what's going on"- He replied
I'm getting really pissed of right now because Greystone is still acting like he didn't do something bad. He doesn't even know what he is up against if Jasmine should go for divorce
"That's because your wife chose to keep it a secret. Imagine if she sits them down and explain it to them, you will be toast. And by the way, your wife also complained that you didn't come home the previous day.
Sorry to ask, but what actually led to such action?"- My husband asked, trying not to intrude into his privacy or secret stuffs
"Actually I went to speak with the girl that I'm dating. I told her that I would like our relationship to come to an end because it's not right, my actions goes against the teachings of my pastor and it goes against what I stand for as a man.
But her reply hit me hard on the chest to the extent that I became so speechless"- He replied
"What did she say?"- My husband asked
"She said I should make a choice between herself and my wife. She suggested that I divorce my wife and get married to her.
She also mentioned that she would even be better than my wife in terms of motherly responsibilities. Which means that she wants my wife to leave empty handed without even taking the kids along"- He replied
I and my husband stared at each other with shock, I can't even explain the kind of shock I'm feeling right now. That lady wants to ruin the home of this young man and he doesn't even know it.
"And what was your reply?"- My husband asked, after a long silent treatment
"I told her I can't divorce my wife and she walked out on me. She said I should never call her line ever again till I die"- He replied
I nearly burst into laughter, but I had to control myself so that I don't blow my husband's cover. This man's relationship should be used to act a comedy show, it would bring forth good profits because this is so hilarious
"You did the right thing, was that the main reason why you didn't return back home that night?"- My husband asked
"Not really, I also paid a visit to the bar so that I could drink away my sorrows and be free again. I'm just so scared and confused at the same time because I know my wife won't trust me ever again. Cheating on her must have broken her down really bad and I can feel it too.
How I wish I could narrate everything to her so that she can understand it better"- He replied with a sad tone
"You don't have to be sad about it. You can chose to keep it a secret and I promise not to mention it to her either as long as you behave yourself"- My husband threatened him
"Are you threatening me?"- He asked, looking a bit suspicious
"I'm just kidding"- My husband replied
"Alright, I promise to behave myself as long as you keep a secret between us. I don't want her to ever find out about it"- He replied
I wonder what will happen once I tell his wife about it, she will be shocked beyond words and she might even take it seriously
"What I will advise you to do is to take her out on a date, maybe somewhere like a restaurant and tell her that everything would be okay. Promise her that you won't go back to your former habits, and I can assure you that she will forgive you and let go of everything."- My husband replied, trying to calm him down
"Do you think that would work because my wife thinks I'm hiding some things from her and she's has been acting weird ever since I confessed to her that I was actually cheating on her with another lady. I don't even know how she found two of us at the hotel where I usually link up with my girlfriend"- He replied
"Women can be very inquisitive sometimes and they don't rest until they get what they want. You might be surprised that she tracked your movements till she caught you both in a hotel. And by the way, how do you mean that she has been acting weird recently?"- My husband asked
"Well, she no longer cuddles me in bed. She ignores me when I try to talk to her and the worst part is that she is still acting like everything is normal"- He replied
I could sense some level of depression in him already but the part that bothers me is when he mentioned that Jasmine ignores him. She is definitely wrong on that part and she didn't even mention her own actions when speaking to us.
"You just have to calm down and take it easy on her. She's probably angry that you will have the guts to cheat on her after promising her that you will always be with her when taking your wedding vows. It's not her fault though, it's common with most women.
You are the one who needs to make things right if you ever want to live happy again. And to do that, you will need to take her somewhere romantic and try to rekindle that love that she has for you. It's not gonna be easy but you have to try or else you both won't find true happiness"- My husband replied with a smile on his face
I wonder why he is smiling?, nothing is actually funny right now.
"I will do just that. But please I would like to ask you for a favor"- Greystone replied
My husband remained silent for a while, he doesn't like it when people try to ask him for favors because it puts him in a tight corner where he would have to do everything possible not to let that person down and now Mr Greystone is trying to ask him for such
"Is there something Wrong?"- I called out to him using my hands
He didn't say anything
"What kind of favor do you want to ask for?"- My husband asked, looking so uncomfortable
"Well I would like you to talk to my wife. Plead with her to forgive me and when you are done, tell her that you want to speak to both of us at the same time. So you can use that opportunity to mend the little crack in our home and I will take it up from there"- He replied.
My husband smiled again like someone who heard something funny.
"That won't be much of a problem. Just give her the phone and walk out of the room so that It won't look as if we planned it together"- My husband replied
"That's a great idea. I would like to have your number after this is over"- He replied and put the conversation on hold
"Can't believe I'm actually doing this right now. He thinks I'm a real therapist"- My husband called out to me after muting the call conversation too
"Just play along, you are doing great sweetheart"- I replied with a mischievous smile on my face
"Didn't you hear what he said. He wants my number and I can predict that he would want to meet me physically.
If that happens, he might detect that I am not a therapist and he would easily figure out that I planned everything with his wife"- He replied
He was making a point though but I believe everything will work out well if he plays his card well
"Just relax, we will cross that bridge when we get there and I can assure you that Greystone won't detect anything"- I replied
He laid back on the soft sofa like someone who ran a fifty metres race
"You better unmute the conversation now before he finds out"- I replied
"Hey, Mr Phillip, are you still there?"- Greystone asked after my husband unmute the conversation
"I'm here for you Mr Greystone."- My husband replied
"I want to hand it over to my wife so that you will talk to her. She's here right now"- Mr Greystone replied
"Hi Sir. My husband said you want to speak with me"- Jasmine replied
"Yes, is your husband there right now?"- My husband asked
"No, he just left"- Jasmine replied
"Okay, that's fine. I would like to discuss some things with you and I hope you tell me nothing but the truth"- My husband replied
"You can ask me anything. I would say it"- She replied
"How did you react when your husband confessed about cheating on you with another lady?"- My husband asked, trying to look like a detective
"I didn't react that much. I forgave him after he asked me for forgiveness that night"- She replied
"How did you treat him after that night"- He asked
"Well, I have ignored him for a while and I don't even respond to his cuddles. I'm still mad at him and I I would continue this kind of treatment until he realizes that his actions towards our matrimonial home was terrible"- She replied
I was pleased with the fact that she didn't deny anything. She opened up to my husband like her father
"I understand that you are really angry that your husband cheated on you. But you shouldn't treat him like that because you have already told him that you have forgiven him.
Treating him like that would make him feel that you are still keeping grudges and that's not good at all."- he replied
"Do you know how I felt when I first caught him with another woman in a hotel. I couldn't sleep for days, it was as if my whole world fell to the ground.
I kept on asking myself if I have done anything to deserve this kind of disaster in my home. I have forgiven him already, but it's going to hard to just let go like that because I'm still angry"- She replied
My husband felt so weak at this point because he was totally speechless. I don't know if I should contribute to the conversation or I should just remain quiet and see how it goes
