"Can I contribute?"- I whispered to my husband so that Jasmine won't hear me
"Why can't you join in?. She's your close friend after all"- My husband said out loud
"I didn't get you sir"- Jasmine replied, trying to understand what's going on
"It's my wife, she said she would like to contribute to the discussion"- My husband replied with a mischievous smile
"Please Mariam, you can contribute to the conversation. You are the main reason why I'm even feeling a little bit relaxed"- She replied
I don't get the part where she said that I'm the main reason why she is relaxed. What does she actually mean?
"Alright. Now, looking at this issue. It would easily conclude that you are still mad at your husband because of what he did to you and it hurts you badly"- I replied
"Yes it does. I feel like spanking him on the buttocks"- She replied
"I understand how you feel right now. But I would simply say that you should let go of everything and let love take control because you both stand to gain nothing if you continue like this and mind you, your kids are also watching the both of you.
You might think they are still small, but it will surprise you to know how fast they can detect little issues about their parents especially when you start avoiding or ignoring your husband"- I replied
"You are right though, I would try my best to forget about it for the sake of my little kids. Thank you for your advice, you have no idea what this means to me"- She replied
Those words of hers touched my heart and it was as if I became a mother to her.
"I'm glad you are okay now. But I would like you to call your husband right now, I want to speak to the both of you"- My husband called out to Jasmine
Jasmine didn't say anything after my husband's reply, maybe she doesn't like that idea of speaking to the both at the same time. But that's the only way to know if everything is settled and if they will take our advice
"Are you still there?"- My husband asked, trying to get a reply from her
"Yes, but why do you want to speak to both of us at the same time?. That was not part of the plan"- Jasmine asked
"I just want to make something clear, that's all. You can trust me on this"- My husband replied
"Alright, let me go and get him"- She replied
My husband placed the call on hold so that we could talk a little before her husband came on board
"So what am I going to say at this point?"- He asked
"Well, you can just drop a piece of advice and tell them to embrace love once more. You are a wise man, you will come up with something"- I assured him
"Okay. Let's see how it goes"- He replied
"Are you guys still there"- My husband asked, trying to get a reply from the both of them
"Yes"- The both of them replied uniformly
"I'm glad that I have this opportunity to amend the little crack in your home. Mr Greystone, I must confess that what you did was very bad and you know for sure that no woman would be happy with such kind of action.
I won't blame you that much because all humans are prone to mistakes and it happens a lot. But I would however advice you to apologize to your wife right now and beg for forgiveness once more."- My husband called out to Mr Greystone
"No problem Mr Phillips. My sweetheart, I'm deeply sorry for cheating on you and I promise not to ever break your heart from this day onward.
I would love and adore you the way you are without complaining or chasing after women. I will try my best to build you to my taste and make sure you look perfect, you have done a lot for me and you have stood by me all these years even at some point where I was broke and helpless.
Cheating on you was definitely a big and silly mistake that I would never try again even if the devil torments me to do so. I would live to adore and cherish every moment with you"- He replied, directing it to his wife
I felt so happy to hear those words from him. It shows that he is truly sorry for his actions
"That's more I like it. Now what do you have to say about this Mrs Jasmine?"- My husband asked, directing his question to Jasmine
"I'm speechless right now. I would always love and adore you Mr darling husband, too as long as you don't return back to your old ways."- She replied
"Now I'm fully satisfied that all is well with the both of you. You guys need to know your flaws and strength, marriage is not just about raising kids and having fun.
It's about being there for each other, helping each other and loving each other till the very end. So I would like to call out to you jasmine, please accept your husband's apology and promise me you won't ignore him anymore"- My husband replied
"I promise"- Jasmine replied
"Well. I guess you we can call it a day here"- My husband replied
"Thank you so much sir, you have no idea what you have done for me and my family. I would always live to remember this kind gesture of yours, perhaps I would pay a visit to your office someday. And would you mind giving me your number, or never mind, I will just collect it from my wife after the call"- Greystone replied
My husband remained silent, I know he wasn't happy with the idea of giving out his number to Mr Greystone
"That would be nice"- He replied with a frown on his face
"Alright Mr Phillips, I would talk with you later"- Jasmine replied and put an end go the call
My husband stared at me for a while and this is making me feel uncomfortable right now
"Why are you staring at me like that?"- I asked
"Nothing really. I just can't help but imagine what some men can do just to please their urge"- He replied
"How do you mean. Are you talking about Mr Greystone?"- I asked
"Yes. It still surprises me that he would cheat on his wife simply because he met a girl with a huge back side"- He replied and burst into laughter
"What makes you think you won't engage in such actions?"- I teased
"There's no way I will do such a thing because I love you more than any other thing in the world and you satisfy me in every possible way I can think of. So why would I start chasing after other women.
That would be possible if maybe I'm possessed by a spirit of something"- He replied
We both burst into laughter and I leaned forward and gave him a kiss on the lips, it felt so good to hear him say that I satisfy him in every possible way
"Alright, that's okay. We will do more kissing maybe in the night, I have to read some of these emails and rely them as fast as possible."- he replied and replaced me with his laptop
"Well. I would like to tell you that I would be traveling to Dubai by tomorrow,"- I called out to him, trying to get his attention
He paused for a moment, trying to process what I just said
"Why are you traveling to Dubai?"- He asked
"I need to go and get some jewelries for myself. I have been wearing those old jewelries for a long time.
I need to get new ones, perhaps diamond bracelets and Gold earrings"- I replied
"You sure know how to spend money dear"- He teased
"Won't you follow me?"- I asked
"I'm not cut out for traveling this period. I just want to take my time to rest a little, you heard when Andrew said that I need to rest and enjoy myself"- He replied while stretching his back like a 70-years old man
"How does traveling with me stop you from having fun?. Stop acting like an old man"- I replied
"I'm not acting like an old man. I'm actually old"- He teased
"How much do you plan on spending when he get there?"- He asked
I really need to change my jewelry collections, perhaps I would buy a gold earrings, gold wristwatch and some other items
"Maybe around $600k. At least, that would be enough to sought out most of my Jewelry expenses"- I replied
"Do you know that some people actually work for a full year to actually get that amount of money?"- He replied
"Yes, because there aren't rich like you and I. Come on baby, let's spend the cash while we can, we only have one life and when it's gone, it's gone.
I'm pretty sure we can't drive Ferrari's or buy expensive jeweleries in heaven. So why don't we enjoy ourselves"- I replied with a smile
"It's good to enjoy life. But we should also invest too"- He replied
"Come off that babe. We have a lot of investments already, are you going with me or not?"- I asked
He didn't say anything for a while but he kept staring at me
"Alright. Maybe just this once"- He replied with a smile
Andrew's POV
we got to the museum few hours later and I was amazed by the kind of beautiful paintings that I saw
"Isn't this beautiful?"- I asked, Micheal who was busy operating his phone with reckless abandon
"Yeah, sure"- He replied without even looking at the paintings
So I grabbed his phone and kept it in my pocket
"Hey, what do you think you are doing?"- He asked with his eyes wide open like a lion ready to devour a goat
"You have been using your phone all day. We came here to learn and also get catch some fun"- I replied
"I need my phone right now dude. I'm in the middle of something important"- He replied
"Why don't you keep that important thing till we get back home"- I asked
"Please put your phones into your pockets. Taking of pictures are not allowed in here"- The female security guard called out to everyone in the museum
Seems they have rules and regulations here and I do seem to go against anything that has to do with rules. But perhaps I will just behave myself so I don't get kicked out of the museum
"It looks everybody would have to put away their phones for the meantime"- Kelvin interrupted
Michael didn't like this and I could see it written all over his face
"Let's go over there and read some history about those sculptures"- Gabriel called out to us
We held each others hands and walked to over to the sculptures section because the museum was kinda filled with a lot of people. It looks as if the whole world is falling in love with arts and history.
"I would like to take some pictures of these sculptures"- Alexia whispered
"What are you doing?. You know the rules here, do you want to get us Into trouble?"- Micheal called out to his girlfriend in a low tone
"They won't notice, I will turn off the sounds and flash lights. I know what I'm doing"- She replied
She brought out her phone and quickly took a picture of the beautiful sculpture before us
"Hey, seize that phone over there!"- One of the guard screamed
"Your actions has landed us in another trouble."- Gabriel replied, looking a bit pissed off by Alexia's stubbornness
"I'm so sorry sir. I forgot that taking of pictures are not allowed in here"- Alexia called out to the security guard who ran towards us like a bull dog
"That's okay. But you will have to delete that particular picture right now or we will seize your phone"- The guard replied
Alexia stared at me, hoping to get my reply on the issue at hand. But I remained quiet
