She remained silent for a while when I asked for her account number and I don't really know why she's silent
"Is anything wrong?"- I asked
"Should I call the account number for you here?"- She asked
"No, send it to my number"- I replied
For some reason, it appears that she doesn't have my number and that would be a big turn off for me
"About that, I actually deleted your number after that night"- She replied looking somehow sad
I stared at her for a while, obviously angry with the fact that she would just delete my number just like that
"Okay, give me your phone let me type in my number. I just want to help you based on the fact that I'm a good person, that's all.
And I hope you change your lifestyle after paying your depts"- I replied
She brought out her phone and gave it to me to type in my number, she's using an Iphone 11 and her screen appears to be cracked so badly.
"Where you involved in some kind of fight or accident that led to the big crack on your screen?"- I asked out of curiosity
"Not at all, I mistakenly dropped the phone when trying to pick a call and I haven't found time to go and repair it"- She replied
"Okay, that's fine. That's my number, just give me a call or send me a text when you get home"- I replied and brought out my phone to book a ride back home
I'm already tired at this point and I need to rest and eat because my stomach is crying for food
"Alright dear, I will chat you up later. Thanks for everything"- She replied softly and walked away to board a taxi nearby
I looked at her in amazement, I didn't really get to see her beautiful body that night because I was only interested in making out with her. The ride that I ordered came few minutes later and I sat at the back seat like a king, I gave him the exact address and he quickly typed it in his GPS screen.
I would really love to go back home tomorrow because this vacation is not going exactly the way I planned it. Things are not just going well at all and I don't really like it, perhaps everyone is tired too and moreover, my absence is really affecting my dad's company
I need to resume work immediately so that the workers won't start raising eyebrows. And I also miss my mother too, I do miss her a lot, perhaps I should give her a call right now. I brought out my phone to dial her number when Kelvin's text came through.
"Are you still talking with Kate?"- His text reads
I chose not to reply the message since I was already close by and by the way, I don't even have strength type any message right now. The driver dropped me at the exact location and I gave him an extra tip of $100
"Thank you so much sir. I'm very grateful"- He replied with a broad smile on his face, I love it when people are always happy
"It's nothing, I love supporting people and putting smile on the faces of others"- I replied and took my leave
I walked in through the front door and I saw Micheal and Alexia kissing each other with reckless abandon. Their love for each other is so overwhelming and I sometimes feel jealous about it because I'm a single dude with a pure heart, I also want to feel what it's like to be loved and pampered by a girl
"Hey, look who's here"- She called out to me after noticing my presence
"How long have you been standing there?"- Michael asked, feeling uncomfortable with the way I was staring at the both of them
"I've been watching you guys long enough to know that bond that exist between both of you is very strong"- I replied
"That's nice but I don't like it when people stare at us like that, it's makes me so uncomfortable"- He replied
"Relax babe, he is our close friend. So there's nothing wrong in letting him watch us kiss"- Alexia replied and gave Micheal a romantic kiss
"So how was your date with that girl?"- Micheal asked with a smile on his face
"I just talked with her as a friend and nothing else"- I replied, while walking down to the room to freshen up
"I don't believe that, it seems you are having a crush on that girl and you don't want to talk about it. But it's okay all the same"- Micheal replied
On my way, I met Kelvin who was cleaning his eye with his shirt. His eyes were red, seems he has been sleeping for a while
"Hey what's up"- I called out to him
"Hey you are back. How did it go with Kate Jones?"- he asked
"Why don't I freshen up, I will tell you everything that happened later but I'm quite hungry and tired. Have you guys eaten anything?"- I asked
"We ate five packs of pizza few minutes ago"- He replied
"Five packs!!!. Did an earthquake take place in your stomachs?"- I screamed
"What's going on back there?"- Alexia asked after hearing me scream out loud
"Kelvin just told me that you guys finished five packs of pizza"- I replied
"Yeah. It was delicious and satisfying at the same time"- She replied while rubbing her stomach which was filled with a lot of pizza
"So where's mine?"- I asked
They all kept quiet as if they didn't hear me and Michael started whistling like bird
"Why are you guys quiet?"- I asked again
"We forgot about you. Perhaps we should order another one for you"- She replied with a smile
"Alright. Fine, just make sure it gets here before I am through with my bath"- I replied and walked straight to my room
I met Gabriel lying down on the bed, he was fast asleep so I tried to be very quiet so that I don't wake him up from his slumber. I walked to the bathroom and took off my clothes while switching on the shower. The water felt so refreshing and I stood there for a while, thinking about everything that has happened in the past few days.
For the record, I would say that this vacation was kinda fun because we all did some crazy things together but the positive energy is dying down and I'm pretty sure that everybody is missing home right now, especially Gabriel and Kelvin. I stepped out of the bathroom without my towel and water started dropping all over the floor
Suddenly Gabriel woke up and he was quite shocked to see me in the room looking like so naked
"When did you come back?"- He asked with shock
"I came back few minutes ago. I didn't want to wake you up because I know you are very tired"- I replied and went to the drawer to get dressed
"So how did it go with the girl?"- He asked
Why does everyone want to know what happened between me and Kate Jones and come to think of it, Gabriel doesn't even know the girl before. So I'm kinda surprised he is even asking about it
"It went well"- I replied, trying to make it brief
"Come on bro, won't you tell me all that happened?. Or you don't want to talk about it"- He asked with a frown
If I chose not to talk about it, it would look as if I'm hiding some things from him when he does give me full details of everything in his life. Telling him won't hurt that much but I want to save my breath so that I can tell Kelvin and Gabriel at the same time so that I won't start explaining it to Kelvin later
"Alright why don't you try and call Kelvin over here so that I can explain it to the both of you at the same time"- I replied
"Why do you want Kelvin in here?"- He asked
"I just said the reason. He also wants to find out what happened between me and the girl, so it would be better for me to explain it to the both of you at the same time and save myself the stress of explaining it to you one after the other"- I replied
He walked out of the room to get Kelvin while I was busy dressing up myself. The both of them walked in few minutes later
"So what did you want to tell me?"- Kelvin asked as he sat down on the bed
"I just want to explain how things went between me and the lady who I spoke to few hours ago"- I replied
"Really, so tell me what happened. Hope you gave her a kiss"- Kelvin asked with his ears standing up like an antenna
"Not really and what makes you think i would do that?"- I asked
"Nothing, you know you guys made out with other the other time"- He replied
"Are you for real. That means you guys know each other for long"- Micheal replied, obviously surprised by what he said
"I met her in the hospital where I was admitted after joining a drinking contest at Kelvin's birthday party"- I replied
"Oh yes, I remember that day like it was yesterday. Can't forget about it, but I thought you won't talk with her again after that night"- He replied
"I thought the same until I saw her today. You won't believe what she is actually passing through right now"- I replied
"How do you mean"- Gabriel asked
"Do you know that she was once a drug addict?"- I asked
The both of them stared at each other for a while, they were obviously shocked by my reply
"Wow"- Kelvin managed to say after keeping quiet for three minutes
"Yeah. She had a nice life not until she lost her parents and got addicted to cocaine as a result of bad friends. So it got to a point when she had to borrow money from the bank to buy cocaine for herself when she doesn't even have any means to pay back"- I replied
"How did she get the loan when she didn't have a job at that time?"- Kelvin asked
"She said she faked some documents to get the loan and I was shocked when she said that the loan amount is $700k"- I replied
"She must be really addicted to cocaine to borrow such a large sum of money. How does she intend to pay back the loan?"- Gabriel asked
"She's working as a nurse and she said she has payed some part of loan, but she is still owing $500k. So I opted to help her pay the rest"- I replied
"What!!!"- Kelvin and Gabriel screamed out loud
"Why on earth would you do such a thing when you don't even know much about her. How do you know if she is no lying?"- Kelvin asked
He was making a point though, it's kinda hard for me to believe her story but I have already agreed to help her
"It all started when I tried to advise her against sleeping with other guys for money"- I replied
"How do you know that she is sleeping with other guys?"- Kelvin asked
"Is it not obvious, how on earth would a girl have sex with a guy she is just meeting for the first time. It shows that she has been into the business before"- I replied
"Well, that's your piece of cake. Just be careful because most guys are looking for means to get money and they don't mind framing up fake stories to get it. Sending her $700k is way too much, if you want to help her.
Then send her just $100k or even $70k, let her look for the rest. I see no reason why you should be the one to help her pay off her depts when you don't even know her that much. Be wise bro"- Gabriel called out to me
With all these advice, it's kinda hard for me to chose whether i should send her the money or not
