Some of his friends came with luxurious rides and it seems that he planned all these things in his mind even before my arrival because i don't remember my father having an cattle ranch so he probably bought those cows that will be slaughtered. Two hours later, the party started and we all danced like never before because there is so much joy in the air and i can feel it too, later that day Elena went back to campus because she had an exam the following day.

   I decided to follow her to campus as we both entered the car and zoomed off, my dad's driver knew the place quite well so he pointed out the address on the GPS and got the specific routes he needs to take. The driver however stopped when he drove into the campus, i don't want her to go but if i hold her back, she will miss her exam, "okay here is my number, you can call me when you are free" i replied an gave her my card as she came down from the car and waved at me.

   I waved back at her til the driver slowly drove away from the campus, my mind flashed back to the very day i met here in the house after retuning back from a cinema, my dad said she was going to be the new maid and back then we weren't close to each other at all because all i do is to press my phone, play video games and watch a movie or hang out with my friends.    We got back home few minutes later and by the time we drove in, all the guest had left and red cups littered the whole house but i don't need to worry much because the maids will handle that in the morning, everyone needs to rest and catch some sleep. I walked into the living room and found out that my parents weren't there so i quickly walked up to my room and when i opened the door, i was shocked to find my mother and father sitting on my bed like FBI agents. "I think i will need to start looking this door before i leave the house" i teased 

"So did you discuss with Elena?, what did you tell her?" my mother asked with her ears wide open to hear every single detail, "we didn't talk much because i didn't want to bother her when she has an exam the next day but we might hang out with other if everything goes well after her exam" i replied. "That's great, try to know her more and I'm sure you guys will get along well" my dad said.

   "That's not a big deal though but i will likely stay in an hotel for some day or throughout the duration of my stay in New York because it's sounds immature to bring a girl to my father's house, so we need some real privacy if something meaningful must be achieved" i replied. "Okay that's fine by me but talk to her well because you guys will likely get married in two weeks time, there is no much time so you have just one week and some days to do whatever you need to do" my dad said and he tapped my shoulders gently before he walked out of the room, leaving me and my mom 

"See the way he is just planning everything on my behalf, he doesn't even inform me of all these secret plans on he's" i said looking a bit pissed off by the way my father talked about the marriage arrangement. "You don't need to be angry dear, he is only concerned about himself, you know his death is fast approaching and he hasn't achieved his last goal of getting a grandchild" she said. "I know that pretty well but he should at least inform me about all the secret underground work he is doing so that i will know because i actually deserve to know" i replied with a frown

   "That shouldn't bother you, focus on what's important and leave the rest for your father to handle, good night dear" she said and walked out of my room as i sat down on my bed thinking about how my life would be after marriage, i won't be free to roam with other ladies like loose pets because i will be tied down to one woman forever but it's all good. I lied down on the bed, but my phone started ringing so i picked up the called because the number was not stored on my contact list

"Hello, please who is this if i may ask?" i asked without even giving the caller room for anything like greetings, "take it easy dear, it's me Elena" the caller replied. My mind calmed down after hearing her voice and my body felt like a still river, "how are you doing, wasn't expecting you to call me by this time because you ought to be sleeping by now or reading for your exam" i replied looking a bit surprised.

   "I decided to give you a call before going to bed and I'm glad you picked up," she said, my mind was filled with joy and i felt like flying. "Alright then but can we discuss before you go to bed?" i asked, "not really, i have an exam tomorrow so maybe after the exam we will talk more" she said and hung up immediately. The next day, i woke up quite early and i quickly freshened up and brushed my teeth.

I have the intention of paying a surprise visit to Kelvin and i pray he should be at home today but i quickly picked up my phone and dialed his number but he didn't pick after i called him severally so i assumed that he might not be at home today. Few hours later, i got a call from Elena and she told me to come pick her up from campus so that we can hang out together so i rushed to the garage and drove out with one of the cars packed there after sneaking into my dad's room to grab the key. 

   On getting to the campus gate, i sighted her due to the lovely red gown she was wearing and i parked slowly while she walking into the car like a queen, I kissed her hand when after she closed the door and drove straight to a lovely restaurant where we can sit down, enjoy ourselves and discuss a little. "This place is amazing" she said after we both took our seats on a soft red chair as the waiter made his way to our table, "what can i interest you both with?" he asked with a broad smile on his face 

"I would like one plate of fried rice, with some salad at the side along with one big chicken wing" i said and he jotted it down while turning his attention to Elena so that she can write down her order, "I will take whatever he wants to eat and drink one bottle of red wine to spice it up" she said. I was kinda surprised she was more interested in my own food than chosing something different for herself but it's all good and there is no harm done.

    "So why don't you tell me more about yourself, like your hobbies, the things you hate and like" i called out to her while we wait for our food, "I love reading, playing video games and listening to music when I'm bored" she said. "that's interesting, love that so what do you hate?" i asked with a smile on my face, "i hate it when people lie to me and treat me like I'm am nothing to them" she said with a frown but i quickly placed my hand on her beautiful face, "hey don't frown, i will always treat you like a Queen, i promise" i assured her

The waiter brought our food few minutes later and we both ate to our satisfaction, i and Elena spoke for quite a long period of time as we got to know each other better and later that day, i booked an hotel room for the both of us after she revealed to me that she was done with her exams for that semester. We both played with each other and did different kind of romantic things, we also watched a Netflix movie till our eyes became tired.

I hugged him with joy as we both laughed, "it's going to be a big time celebration and i can't wait to dress in my best attire tomorrow" my mom called out to the both of us as she walked in looking so happy.

We all laughed so hard till we eventually calmed ourselves down, "thank you so much dad, this would not be happening if not for your efforts" i said and gave my dad a second hug and after that, i hugged my mom too for her support, "it's okay my son, just go and inform your friends about the wedding and trust me, it's going to be one of the biggest wedding they will ever experience in their entire life" my father said and i quickly dashed off to my car. I earlier called for a meeting this afternoon and I'm pretty sure Kelvin and the rest are patiently waiting for me in our usual hotel. So i typed the address on my GPS and drove out of the house with speed
