Let's Go Home

Owen came out of the bathroom and felt a strange feeling descending on him. His heart beats violently and he turned sharply when he thought he saw something. He was right. At the edge of the bed sat a lady in white with her back facing him.

His hand shook as he moved towards her.

She looked familiar, but for the life of him he couldn’t figure out who. He reached a shaking hand to touch her shoulder when he got to her but retrieved it almost immediately.

She slowly turned towards him and as her face turned visible, she disappeared.

Owen rubbed his eyes frantically, trying to understand if what he saw was real.

Because of shock, he did not register her face but he knew she is someone he knows.

He brought his shaky hand down then took in some breath.

"Whatever that is, I am not cut out for it "

It wasn’t until Owen’s breathing slowed back to normal, that he realized how fast it had been beating.

He looked around the hotel room, still slightly shaken up. There were no signs of disturbance in any part except for the woman who just vanished. It was as though she never even existed.

Owen sighed and got ready to leave the room. He is here to clear his thoughts and not to be disturbed by anything.

*******

Zain got home and went straight to go get Jenny. The moment he walked into the house, he saw three pairs of eyes staring at him. Jenny was clutching a mug in between her hands looking a bit okay. She dropped the mug and stood up.

He sighed and walked towards her,

"Let's go home"

His voice came as a whisper.

"Mr Zidat, I am sorry for your loss"

Thomas said and Zain nodded his head,

"It is fine. She is gone. There is nothing I can do about it"

He spoke softly. Jenny can see the line of wrinkles on his face and feels for him. June bit her lips and remained calm. She can't say sorry because the word has been said too much today. it would not bring the dead back to life rather it would make the living warily.

   "Jenny!"

Zain stretched his hands to Jenny and she took it.

"Thank you both for looking after her, I appreciate it."

June smiled slightly at her friend but Thomas didn't show much emotion.

"You don't have to thank Me, Mr Zidat. It's our dute to look out for each other"

He said.

"I know she didn't mind it"

He added with a small smile on his face.

Zain shook his head and took one step towards the door. He paused.

"Thank you both again and please the name is Zain"

He bowed a bit and made to turn away from them when June stopped him

"Mr Zidat..."

She called out quietly making all three heads turn to her

 "Take heart, sir"

Zain nodded.

"I will"

Zain assured her.

Jenny and him finally left June and his brother,

June sighed and closed the door. It's been a long morning for all of them.

Jenny's point of view…

Closing the door behind him, he pulled me into an embrace and crushed his lips on mine. I don't know if what I am doing is the right thing but there is nothing I want now but to feel his skin on mine. he could be the antidote to my sorrow.

My arms wrapped around his neck  as we kissed and I felt my legs weaken underneath me with anticipation as a warm sensation grew inside me. It feels so good. The heat between our bodies was burning, making me more wet than before. He took a step back and looked at me.

"You look beautiful."

His gaze lingered on my face for awhile and then moved to my body. His eyes roamed over my body from head to toe and I saw him smirking

"You're gorgeous too"

"Thank you."

I shyly said as I blushed in embarrassment. I know this is the least of things we should be doing now but that didn't stop me from feeling all warm in my chest. I felt as though I wanted to kiss every inch of his beautiful face, to taste every bit of him.

"Let's go, I have something for you"

He whispered against my ear and grabbed my hand.
