A Blessing In Disguise 2

     Vivian was not expecting him to kiss her and she wasn't going to push him away. David took her by surprise and that excites her. They kissed each other deeply. She wrapped her arms around his neck deepening the kisses. When the need for air reached its limit they parted slightly, gasping for air.   David rested his forehead against hers while staring deeply into her eyes. Vivian felt something tugging inside her chest when she saw those beautiful eyes looking back into hers.

   He placed a small peck on her lips followed by a bigger and longer kiss on her cheek, then another one on her nose, and finally he pulled away and looked in her deep ocean blue eyes. 

“How are you feeling now?” He asked with his hand caressing her hair softly.

She smiled brightly at him then hugged him tightly. “Better now than ever” she replied while nuzzling her nose in his shoulder. Her smile grew bigger when he squeezed her in response.

“So why are you here?”

“I missed you, that’s why. I also needed to ask you something. And if you could help me out, please!”

His words and his pleading tone caused Vivian to melt like ice cream. She smiled at him and nodded.

“What is it?”

“Well, I was wondering if you would like to go out with me tomorrow night?”

“Tomorrow night?”

“Yes, I mean, if you want to.”

“Of course I want to!”

The excitement in his eyes made her heart feel like jumping from place to place. David’s face was lit up with joy and she could see his happiness was reflected on hers. They both exchanged smiles. Their faces became closer and closer, until finally their foreheads were touching and their lips were only a few centimeters apart. Vivian closed her eyes waiting for the moment where their lips will touch. When the time finally comes, their lips just inches apart, they both slowly lean in towards each other and finally press their soft lips together.

   It's like heaven. This not the first time they are kissing yet there is something about the kiss each time it happens.

   Vivian closed her eyes as she savoured the wonderful taste of David and his kiss. After a minute, they separated, still keeping their forehead pressed together.

"I have another request to make of you, Vivian," said David.

She looked up at him, "just say it"

   "Can I crash in here tonight, I mean can I spend the night here? please don't say no, I would love to spend the night here" said David in the most desperate tone of voice she could imagine. Vivian burst out laughing. This man was so adorable, "you can stay here tonight." she whispered, "you don't need to beg"

   "Really? Thank you!" exclaimed David with an uncontrollable smile. Vivian returned the smile and leaned closer. She gave him a gentle peck on his forehead then shrugged herself off his grip. That's when she realized that he has a danfo bag with him.

  "What do you got in there?"

She questioned looking at his face,

"You will see, let's go"

He muttered grinning as he led the way as if it's his place.

  Vivian had no idea where the sleeping over will take place because she has got a really small bed. She was too excited to think about it at first.

 "Em.. David," She called out to him, stopping on her tracks.

  "Yes"

"I have got a really small bed, how do we do this?"

David smiled and pointed to the bag,"you have no worries, I came prepared. We will use the floor."

  Vivian wasn't cool with it, she can't have her guest sleeping on the floor.

  "Maybe, you use the bed and I will use the floor"

She said sadly

  "You think if this is what I want I would be here. Why would I want to sleep on your bed and you sleep on the floor when I have a bigger bed right there."

Vivian stared at him confused. Seeing the confusion in her face, He walked back to her and held her shoulders."I meant I could have invited you over to my place if I really wanted to sleep on the bed tonight. What I want is to curl on the floor with you tonight, having the warmth of your body keeping me warm, do you understand now?" He said with his hands around her waist, bringing her even closer, causing her body to press against his own. "I'm sorry I didn't make myself clear."

She smiled, "of course. Sorry, I should have understood you, don't know what is wrong with this brain of mine"

  David smiled, "it doesn't matter what's wrong with your brain, we need to focus on making this night perfect for us, now let's go start the night. I can't wait"

  He said and bundled her in his arms, causing her to giggle.

   "I can't believe you are the one being this way with me. I know I was going to get you to date me but I wasn't expecting it soon. I guess the death of your friend was a blessing in disguise."

He thought as carried her into the living room.
