After parking the car in front of the Ace Bar, I got out and staggered towards the premises.
As soon as I entered, the bar instantly filled with music, alcohol and dancing bodies. Is not too early for this until I remembered that it's Friday. Most people on Reben Castle don't go to work on that day. It's like a free day for anyone who cares to participate.
I headed straight to the stairs and quickly took the second floor, passing many tables and rooms occupied with couples. Some girls were dressed provocatively with their hair up and others wore simple clothing consisting of dresses, skirts or trousers while still others were bare, showing their beautiful body parts, or some men too. They looked breathtaking as well as beautiful and I couldn't help but stare at one of them for a short while.
I gulped and shook my head in an attempt to clear my thoughts. I continued walking towards one of those rooms and as soon as I reached it, I opened it and stepped inside.
The room consisted of nothing but a sofa and two chairs. A small table stood near the corner between the windows which were covered in curtains blocking the sunlight from entering the room. I walked over to the window and pulled down the fabric. The sky was grey, clouds covering the sun and leaving the room dark and cold.
"Damn" I mumbled. It has been a long time since I visited here. During the episodes of my first year with Susan, Ace Bar was the place I spent most of my time and now I am back again. What an irony of life.
Suddenly I saw the door close behind me. I tensed and turned around to face whoever entered and there stood one of the beautiful ladies I saw down floor
She walked over to me "Mind if I sit?"
I nodded and sat down, keeping the distance between us.
I ordered a bottle of brandy and a bottle of whiskey through the intercom and waited for my orders in silence.
"I wondered what a man of your caliber will be doing at a bar by this time of the day?" She asked coyly, making an attempt to touch but I glared at her and she retrieved her hand.
"What do you want?"
I sounded harsh and rude but truthfully, I was shocked at how rude I sounded, never been rude before to any lady.
"Why such a rough tone?" she asked with a pout. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms, looking ahead. Silence fell upon us again.
The bartender arrived carrying my drinks and two glasses. I stared at the glasses. I never asked for more than one glass, why did he make it two?
The man seeing my clouded expression, gulped and moved back a little.
"Sorry Sir but is there a problem?"
He asked, still stepping back a little.
"Did I ask you to make the glass two?"
I yelled, stood up and charged towards him. I felt myself being dragged back and I realized it's the lady who is dragging me away from the bartender.
"It's just a glass, you don't have to fuss over it, besides we are two, are we not? So tell me what wrong he did?"
Her words provoked me the most and pushed her to the sofa but before I could land my fist on the bartender, she appeared from nowhere and my fist landed on her nose instead. She let out a scream, holding her nose in pain. Blood gushed through her nose.
"YOU LITTLE SHIT" I shouted before grabbing her arm and throwing her across the room into the wall causing her to hit her head against the wall. That second, I froze, turned and saw her whimpering against the wall. By the time I turned around again, the bartender had dropped the tray and ran away.
I think I had let my frustrations out a little so I squatted before her and offered her my hand, she glared at me before taking it.
"You need to watch your anger next time"
She mumbled sitting down. Her nose was still bleeding and the sight of it made me feel horrible, worse than before.
I sat before her and wiped her nose with my handkerchief, still it continued bleeding. She was in pain and I could feel it.
"I am so sorry for doing this to you, what can I do to make it up to you?"
I asked gently, my senses were coming back now. I saw her eyes lit and she smiled mysteriously then I suddenly got the feeling that things are about to get bad.
"It's so simple. Be my boyfriend!"
