The Anonymous Giver

    Miss Celine walked up to us on the bed and sat down too. She picked Michael and set him on her lap while Mitchell ran around in the room.

  "Nice to finally meet you, Mrs Thompson"

Mum huffed and waved her hand"please drop the act, the name is Elina."

 Mom said and smiled,"I must thank you for all that you have done for Jenny. You are a mother to her more than I have been. I owe you big time, God bless you"

   "Bless you too, Elina. When I saw Jenny, she was the broken tennger who needed help and I could do that for her. I did not think of anything but the present. While she was in my house, she kept thinking how disappointed you would feel if you found out. I told her never to worry, that you are a mother and you will understand. I totally understood her, she was afraid of ruining things for her sister and that's one thing I love about her, she is selfless and has a heart of gold. I am blessed to be connected to her and my two years with the twins are one of my best years. I am going to miss them but I know I will always be part of their lives."

   Her speech was heartwarming and I felt my tears dropping again.

  "Thank you so much for this gift you have given us. The world needs ten of you to make it a better place"

 Miss Celine laughed at what mom said, "stop flattering me. I was just being a human."

"Sure you were"

I said, hitting her arms slightly.

  "You need to know something. A man has been behind the twins upkeep since they were born"

The smiling creeping on my face dropped and stared at Miss Celine shocked.

 "What?"

I asked, mouth wide open.

"I know right but I was asked not to tell you. I had to accept the offer because you and I needed to Money for the twins to survive."

Miss Celine replied. Mom stared from Miss Celine to me then returned her gaze back to Miss Celine.

  "Who is the man?"

Mom managed to ask when I did not. 

   "I don't know if I am doing the right thing by telling you but I have to. His name is Mr Harrison Ford, the owner of Ford Hospital were the twins were born"

    I closed my mouth and lost my grip on the bed. So Harrison has been under the cover for a long time. He has been rich and Zain is not aware? I don't get it, why is he pretending to be poor? Is there more to this help of his or it still has to do with Susan again?

  I wish I could see him and ask him all these questions because he needs to answer me. I need answers to so many questions right now.

  "How did he help us?"

I had to ask.

  "An account was opened in Mitchell and Michael's name. Every month he makes a donation into the account. Right now, the account holds about A million dollars."

 I was speechless. He has been doing all that and still he gave me another thousands dollars cheque.

  "Who is Harrison and what does he have to gain from this?"

I thought.

  "I am sorry I kept this away from you but I was warned strictly not to let you know"

   Miss Celine's voice sounded in the distance. I wasn't listening. I was so deep in thought that I stood up without knowing. I only realized that I was walking when I kicked something and I snapped out of my trance to see Mitchell pouting at me with tears in her eyes. I had stepped on her hands.

  I quickly bent down and picked her up.

"I am sorry sugar pie, I will watch my steps next time"

I apologized and she nodded then put her head on my chest.

  Mom and miss Celine walked to me," you don't have to think about it"

Both said at the same time.

  I turned towards them and smiled" I am leaving town with them."

    I wasn't sure if this is what I should do but it looks like the best thing to do right now. I don't know Harrison's plan so it's better I take the twins far away from him and zain."

 "Are you sure that's the best thing to do? What about school?"

She asked worriedly.

  "Don't worry okay, I can pull everything off. There is a lot of money now to take care of myself and them. School won't be a problem. I just need to get away. A new environment to start all of over with just me and the twins"

Both nodded, smiling lovely at me.
