His House His Rule

Mercy's face fell and she let go of my hand she was handing. She realized that arguing with me will not amount to anything because whenever I am set to do something, I do that without minding the cause.

I was done talking with them and to drag Lora out was the only thing left. I continued my dragging while Owen and Owen looked on. Lora was struggling to get free from my grip

As much as I tried to hold her firm she would not stop making a fuss. I stopped suddenly and pushed her to the wall. My fingers trailed across the pale white skin of her neck, slowly making it's way under her jawline, to her chin. I stared at her intensely with dark brown eyes.

"Don't get me angry,, b*ch"

My voice sounded rough and deep, it send chills running through her spine making her breath shorten. I leaned close to her, closing the space between us and whispered in her ear

"Because you would not like what I will do to you".

The threat lingered in the air. I pulled away from Lora and smirked, enjoying her shocked face. She quickly covered her exposed neck with her hand and glared daggers at me.

I waited for her to say something but she just stood silently in shock, still touching the place on her body that I touched. She was afraid that the touch will bring pain or worse consequences, it was well written all over her face. She is smart enough to know that I won't hesitate if she continues to act stupidly. She knew I would do it in a heartbeat.

"What's wrong? Are you scared of what I could do to you, b**ch?"

She snarled angrily at me and I chuckled then my expression turned serious. I moved closer again and cupped her chin in my palm, gently tilting it up to face me.

"Oh yeah!... I'm will be more than happy to show..."

I murmured huskily and lowered my gaze before grabbing her wrist. The entrance was just five steps away. Lora knew that if I dragged her out of the entrance, that's all for her in this mansion. As that realization hit her, she would not still do anything about it. My house, my rules.

Standing in the Foyer, I watched Lora being taken away by one of my bodyguards with all her luggages be thrown out by the servants as well.

I had no pity for what she is getting now. She lost her respect the day she decided to throw herself at me.

The look she gave me as she was thrown out of the gate did not escape me. I would wait and see what she would bring on because someone like Lora would do anything to get back at me.

But before she can get to me, she would get through my security.

I turned slowly and came face to face with Mercy and Owen. They stood motionlessly, watching me with blank looks on their faces.

I had nothing to say or an explanation to give for my actions. Owen knows that I don't ever explain myself to anyone.

"You both should have some life in yours eyes, it's not the end of the world"

I stated and walked past them.

I felt fulfilled as I took the stairs to my room. I have achieved something today. Lora being here was never a problem to me but her actions yesterday triggered some hatred in me and when I hate you, I would not want you around me. She deserves everything she is getting now. I don't care one bit.

I closed my door and breathed in. I saw my suit laid out on the bed. Spike has done her job. He doesn't need me to remind him what he has to do. He doesn't do it and goes ahead to do more.

He has been with me for ten years now and no matter how angry I am at him, he would not take it to heart. It's like he took whatever rubbish I threw at him, swallowed it and pretended that he was not offended. I am not sure he ever get offended.

"Aha! The air around here feels refreshing."

I muttered as I settled on the couch, making sure to move all the files on it aside. I smiled satisfactorily as I spread my hands. I did not forget to throw my head back, exhaling and inhaling. My day will be good, I can tell it.
