The Fateful Night

The wolf warrior was married to a wife named Fan Meng, after two years, they were blessed with a boy child and they named him Fan Xiaotian, he was of the wolf bloodline and although a baby, was full of life and energy, a spirited Child. They were happy for their son and loved him more each day that passes by, people always said that he has the looks of his mother and possessed the lifeforce of the father.

On the day the baby was born, the emperor, eunuch and people of the land gave the child their blessings. Things were playing out well for eunuch Wang, it going perfectly as he planned. At that time it was already night and people had to retire to their various homes. Unknown to the wolf warrior, his wine and that of his guards were drugged and they all ended up sleeping very deep being weak.

With the captain's guard down, the assassin's struck and slayed all the guards, moved into the room and slayed the wolf warrior who couldn't find back since the drugged weakened him. His wife seeing the turnout of things quickly handed over her one year old child to her trusted maid, Xiaomi and told to flee as far as she can and not return anytime soon handing over to her the jade token of the wolf family and she escaped into the forest.

Unfortunately, she was spotted in her attempt to flee and was chased by the assassins since the eunuch instructed that none should be left alive. She kept on running for her life, in the dark path, something amazing happened, check it out in the next chapter
