Gui Shan vs Bai Xing
Master Huang Ju feeling pity for Fen Bao ordered Hu Mei to stop. Hu Mei was then declared the winner of that round. So he qualified for the second round of his test.
As he came down, he went towards Gui Shan and his friends, then he tapped Gui Shan and said;
"Hope you enjoyed the lecture?", Hu Mei said as he laughed.
"Just accept that you are all losers and weaklings before me",
"Hello pretty one, I hope you enjoyed my display of strength", he said referring to Ru Yuo.
Tang Tang in his mind felt Hu Mei was a great threat and shouldn't be stepped upon.

Tang Tang and Gui Shan stood and gazed at each other.
"Did you actually slap him?", Gui Shan and Tang asked at the same time.
"Yes! He was even lucky I didn't go far by slapping him the second time", Ru Yuo said to fend off her anger.
Gui Shan then told her that the guy she slapped was no ordinary guy, but the nephew of the empress of Wushu province.
Ru Yuo was surprised when she heard that.

Their attention was shifted back to the match which was ongoing.
Next on the leaderboard was 'Bi Yao vs Wu Zhu'
The two competitors climbed up the ring.
Bi Yao was a young elegant lady, who possessed great beauty and a appealing appearance.
Gui Shan upon sighting her, had a feeling of excitement from within. He has never felt this way towards any lady before.

"Wow, such prestige!", Gui Shan said smiling.
"Face reality Gui Shan, she is not your class", Tang Tang said.
"Mind you, I didn't say I like her, I was just interested in knowing her", Gui Shan said feigning innocence.
The match was about to start in earnest.
No one was able to predict the outcome the match, but many believed that Bi Yao would win, considering the stories they heard about her.
Bi Yao was famously known for her prowess coupled with her beauty. As the daughter of Eunuch Wang, she was taught not to concede defeat but face her obstacle.
She was indeed confident of winning the match, but she wasn't in a rush to win, since she has always been taught not to run into a fight unless she had studied her opponent and his weaknesses.

The two competitors stared at each other, the opponent Wu Zhu was also a skilled fighter, but he had to observe from a distance and not rush in for an attack.
For about a minute, they were both moving round the ring trying to evade each other's attack.
Then Bi Yao took a fighting stance, forged ahead with an attack.
Wu Zhu seeing her attack coming quickly evaded it. And also came attacking her, it was as though no one was willing to let their guard down.
The match was seeming like a draw as though they were equals.
Bi Yao seeing that decided to use the secret move of her family. It was an attack which masters of martial arts evade out of luck.
As it is with the royals and highly placed, each family posseses a secret move that are to their advantage.
Bi Yao then charged at him with an attempt to knock him down, it happened so fast that everyone didn't know when Wu Zhu was beaten out of the ring.
The competitors cheered her, she held the prestige of her family high up.
"Superb", Gui Shan said as he walked forward to congratulate her.
"Who are you?", Bi Yao asked Gui Shan.
"I'm Gui Shan from Ciafa village", he said.
"Never heard of such a village before, are you a local?", Bi Yao asked.
"Just an ordinary boy", Gui Shan said.
"Then we have no business with common", she said.
Right from childhood, her father always taught her that people around her are advantages, but she need not associate with those who wouldn't take her anywhere.
After her abrupt statement, she walked off.
Gui Shan was feeling disappointed. however, pretended not to be.
Next on the board of competitors was 'Gui Shan vs Bai Xing'
It was indeed going to be a great match. The two competitors stepped forward.
Master Huang Ju then reiterated that it was the duty of Guiyi academy to produce gallant students, adding that it's not a place for the weak and feebleminded.
After that he told the competitors to begin.
Many people cheered Bai Xing as the match began in earnest. From his past record, he wasn't so easily defeated.

To them, the match was as good as over.
Ru Yuo pitied Gui Shan seeing who he was up against. Only Tang Tang believed that Gui Shan would win considering his last encounter with him.

One of the masters came to Tang Tang seeing the skills Gui Shan used in fighting, and asked about his origin.

All the competitors were amused by Gui Shan's fighting skills.

Even Bi Yao was amazed after she saw for herself that Gui Shan was no ordinary boy, she began admiring his prowess.
Already getting frustrated, Bai Xing decided to use secret the killing move his master taught him, "Soul dividing punch".
He thought that Gui was as good as dead.
But amazingly, something extraordinary happened, Gui Shan heard a voice, which he thought was coming from the crowd.
"It's me Grandmaster Hun Feng", the voice said.
Gui Shan was fazed, but wouldn't want to talk to himself in the presence of everyone.
Grandmaster Hun Feng continued;
The move he is about to use his a very dangerous one as Hun Feng could sense it through Gui Shan's body.
"If I wasn't here you would've ended up as a dead man",
"I'm going to give you some percent of my powers to help you take in the blow", Grandmaster Hun Feng said.
Immediately, Gui Shan felt a surge of strength which seems his body can't handle for a long time.
As Bai Xing came forward with the secret move, master Huang Ju wanted to call off the match seeing it was a skill that may kill Gui Shan.
But something held him back as he saw the look of Gui Shan's eye as someone bursting with power.
"It's the 'soul dividing punch', Gui Shan is as good as dead", one of the competitors shouted from the crowd.
But surprisingly, as the attack came from Bai Xing, Gui Shan held the attack with his hands.
It was as though two lions met, there was an overflow of Qi energy.
