Gui Shan, Ru Yuo and Wan Fei seemed buried in the scrolls as they didn't notice Master Huang Ju leave.
*PURPLE CLOUD WING*
For two days now, the purple cloud wing had begun their alchemy training. They were taught various medical skills and how to make premium elixirs.
After master Yang Jun's training, each of them were told to make potent healing elixirs.
"I urge you my students to know the importance of the training", he said.
"I would do everything I can to make sure you're able to make potent healing elixirs", he added.
Of course not all elixirs would have the same percentage of purity and potency. On the students trial, they made an elixir which was 25% pure.
After their first attempt master Yang Jun gave them further instructions on how to improve the potency of their pills.
"I want you to know that the mastery of alchemy and medicine is not a day job",
"It requires series of training and practice. I urge to try harder and control the amount of heat going into your cauldron", he said.
The students tried constantly, and luckily, Hu Mei was able to make an healing elixir that was 60% pure. His fellow students were amazed as theirs were still lingering at 40-45%.
The alchemy training continued in the academy for several days. The various wings were doing their everything within capacity to ensure that their students were at their best.
*SILVER EAGLES WING*
Alchemy training had also begun in the silver eagles wing. Bi Yao, Tang Tang and Mao Li were lucky to have the best alchemy teacher.
Master Lin Fei had been known for her unrivaled alchemy skills. Right from her studentship till she became a powerful martial artist, she hardly came across a person who possessed her level of skills in alchemy.
Currently, she was able to make a 98% premium healing elixir. So knew how to take her students. She started by giving them the basics of alchemy and medicine.
"The art of alchemy and medicine is beyond just heating up the cauldron and channelling your Qi to make a pill", she said.
"The secret of being a master alchemist lies in your ability to control your Qi",
"Know that the level of Qi you insert into the cauldron determines the level of potency of that pill", master Lin Fei added.
After her address, she further instructed on how to go about the art. She showed them some demonstration.
With some herbs and grasses in the alchemy room, she was able to make a 98% healing and cultivation elixir.
"I want you all to know that making a pill of this purity requires training. Not all physicians are able to make a cultivation elixir", she said.
"Many of them would usually stop at making a healing elixir and set aside the training for the cultivation elixir", she added.
"Mind you, a cultivation elixir can help boost cultivation and increase your level of Qi", master Lin Fei said.
After that, she instructed each of them to begin by making their first pill, with some herbs she provided.
Bi Yao, Tang Tang and Mao Li began in their attempt to make to make a pill.
Bi Yao wasn't overreacting like Tang Tang since she had knowledge of some herbs and medicine.
Back in the Taihe palace, she had always watched the imperial doctors when they made pills and healing elixirs. She was glad that she finally got a chance to try her skills.
They all began, Tang Tang is seen putting in some herbs into his cauldron as he read through a manual as though it was a prescription.
After that he lit the fir and started heating the cauldron, after some noticeable transformation, he infused his Qi into the cauldron and out came his healing elixir.
Each of them succeeded in making an healing elixir. To the surprise of everyone, Bi Yao made a 65% healing elixir on her first trial. Meanwhile, Tang Tang and Mao Li made a 30% healing elixir.
They both cheered Bi Yao for her breakthrough. Master Lin Fei was happy that she finally had a student who was gifted in alchemy.
She then decided that Bi Yao was the successor she had been waiting for all these years to pass on her alchemy skills.
The training was becoming interesting as Tang Tang and Mao Li were finally able to make a 45% healing elixir.
They continued till the training came to an end that day.

*CRIMSON LION WING*
Meanwhile in the crimson lion wing, training had begun concurrently. Master Huang Ju made sure he gave them the basics.
That day at the alchemy training, the students were told to each make a healing elixir.
For some days now, they had been studying alchemy scrolls and memorizing some common herbs. It was finally time to put it to practice.
Gui Shan, Ru Yuo and Wan Fei sat adjacent to each other with their cauldrons ready to begin. Each of them began by putting in some herbs and grasses into their respective cauldrons.
They allowed lit fire and heated at different temperatures. Gui Shan went further and infused a great amount Qi into the cauldron. He was still in this process when Ru Yuo and Wan Fei finished making their pills.
Both of them made a 40% healing elixir. Everyone awaited Gui Shan as his refining came to an end.
To the surprise of everyone, Gui Shan was able to make a 70% healing elixir which left master Huang Ju speechless as he didn't expect Gui Shan to advance so fast.
Master Huang Ju knew that there was something special about Gui Shan but he kept reserved till he gets a solid evidence.
...
All over the various wings, the students are making preparations towards the Inter-wing competition.
The students seem to be in high spirits. No one was idle at this critical moment. The competition was just a week away.
The most pronounced fact is that after the competition, only one wing would claim the award of being the best.
Attached to the winning team, they would be given free access to use the academy's inner chamber for training.
The chamber has been known to contain different scrolls and cultivation elixirs which would increase one's ability on ten fold.
Every single student was anticipating this great event. Both the senior students, second year students and first year students are all going to be participating.
The senior students have been intensifying their training towards the competition. Especially at the purple cloud manor, intense training has been going on.
Since they are not willing to lose first place to any team. Meanwhile, principal Ming has been making adequate preparations to see that the Inter-wing competition that year would be a success.
Not only to make the students strive for the best, but to build in them the spirit of a true martial artist.

*CRIMSON LION WING*
Gui Shan is lost in thoughts as he wondered what his fate would be at the end of the competition. He wondered which team would win the prize.
He had always wished to gain access into the academy's secret training chamber. So he pledged to do his best in the forthcoming event.
In preparation for the event, he decided to pay grandmaster Hun Feng a visit in order to receive some guidance.
He then left the main chamber of the crimson manor and headed for his room. Ru Yuo saw Gui Shan leaving and decided to go after him.
"Gui Shan...where are you going?" Ru Yuo asked in a low tone.
"I'm heading for my room and I need some time alone, don't come for me anytime soon", Gui Shan replied.
After his conversation with Ru Yuo, he headed for his room.
On getting there he entered his room, closed his door and window to ensure that nobody sees him or interrupts his meditation.
He then sat on a mat and took a squatting position. He stood still for a while and started meditation.
With full concentration, he was able to enter into his subconscious mind. As he entered, he saw himself in the same chamber with grandmaster Hun Feng.
"Good day Grandmaster", Gui Shan greeted as he postrated.
"Good day my son", old man Hun Feng replied.
"To what do I owe this urgent visit?" Grandmaster Hun Feng asked.
"Nothing really special, I just came for some guidance", Gui Shan replied.
Speaking further the old man said;
"I've been watching you for quite some time now and you seem to be doing well on your own", he said.
"Master, I want you to help me win in the upcoming competition as a may battle against some strong opponents", Gui Shan said.
"The current state of your body can't harness my power now. You still need more training before I'll handle to you my power",
"Nevertheless, I don't mind giving you some power for the time being", Grandmaster Hun Feng said.
