Strange Occurrence
That fateful evening, Gui Shan returned to his block in the crimson manor and headed to his room. On getting to his room, Gui Shan walked in and discovered something unusual.
He discovered that someone has plundered his belongings. The strange individual ransacked his belongings as though he was searching for something.
Gui Shan then sat on his bed and pondered for a while. He wondered what on earth does he have that is worth stealing except clothes, because he carried his purse wherever he went.
He suddenly laughed and ruminated for a while. He knew it wasn't that simple as it looks. He considered some factors and then decided to report this development to master Huang Ju.
He then went to master Huang Ju's chamber. On getting there, he met master Huang Ju writing a manuscript.
"Good day master", Gui Shan greeted as he entered.
"How are you Gui Shan?"
"Aren't you feeling exhausted after the meeting", master Huang Ju Said.
"Not to worry master, I would have opted to rest but something suddenly came up and I decided to see you", Gui Shan said.
"You can feel free to speak, what's the matter?" Master Huang Ju asked.
"Master, when I returned today, I discovered that someone tampered with my belongings and am sure it's an outsider", he said.
"I believe no student in this would do that without my consent, it's obviously an outsider or a spy within the academy", Gui Shan said.
"Uhmm...", Master Huang Ju cleared his throat to speak.
"I agree with you. But I didn't Imagine they would be so bold to break into the room of a student of mine", he said.
"Not to worry Gui Shan, I would deal with this matter. Be rest assured", he said.
Master Huang Ju then thought for a moment and decided to use this opportunity to know more about Gui Shan and his background.
"Gui Shan, I want you to know that you're my student and you can trust with your secret or anything that bothers you", master Huang Ju Said.
"I believe these people are after something, perhaps it started during the competition. My guess is that they think you have a secret enhancing drug that helps boost your Qi",
"Or perhaps they want to dig into your secrets. But I assure you this is between you and me. You can trust me", master Huang Ju Said.
"Actually I don't have any deep secret it's just that my family background is a bit hazy", Gui Shan said.
"Before I came to Guiyi academy for the entrance examination, my parents revealed a shocking secret to me",
"Master, remember that when I first joined the wing, I told you that my parents were just normal people, a village councilor and his wife with me as their son",
"That was all true until the day my father told me that I was an orphan baby when he took me in", Gui Shan said.
"He told me that he found a poor little boy abandoned in the woods. That boy was me and that marked the day they took me in as their son and cared for me", he said.
"But before I left, he gave me a token stating that it would help me get to the root of my origin", Gui Shan said as he brought out the token of wolf warrior's.
Master Huang Ju was shocked when he saw it. It was the token of the wolf warrior.
"Master, you seem shocked, are you familiar with this token?" Gui Shan asked.
"Don't be bothered by that, but I must warn you that you should never reveal this token to anyone else as you've shown me", master Huang Ju said.
Gui Shan being surprised asked why?
"If you want to be alive to get to the root of your origin, keep this as a secret between me and you", master Huang Ju said.
"It seems like there is more to your family tree", he said.
"One of this days, I will make you understand", master Huang Ju said.
After the conversation, he sent Gui Shan back to his room. Gui Shan still in a bemused state went back to his room as he pondered on what master Huang Ju told him.
Master Huang Ju then decided to take Gui Shan's investigation to take the investigation about Gui Shan to the next level.
Nevertheless, he pledged not to divulge the information he has gotten so far to the rest masters until he gets to the root of it. He also made this decision in order to protect Gui Shan.
As Gui Shan entered his room, he crashed on his bed like a confused man. But suddenly a thought struck his mind; "I still have Grandmaster Hun Feng, maybe he'll make things clearer".
Gui Shan then decided to pay a visit to grandmaster Hun Feng. He then entered a state of meditation as he entered his subconscious mind.
"Good day Grandmaster", Gui Shan said.
"Good day young lad. What's it that troubles you so much", the old man asked.
"Upon returning this morning, I discovered that my room was broken into. So to get answers, I decided to meet master Huang Ju",
"But now I've been put in a more confused state", Gui Shan said.
"I understand your state. Once in my lifetime, I was once in a state as yours. I always needed some answers but I didn't get", the old man said.
"I want you to know that this is the time when the battle begins",
"This stage of your life is the most complicated. I want you to know that the stability of the nations and the peace of Wushu kingdom lies in your hand", he said.
"With time, you'll discover that you have a great destiny ahead of you", he added.
"But I want you to be very careful, seems the wolf token master Huang Ju warned you to keep secret is for a reason",
"Just be careful this time as your enemies seem to multiply as the day goes by", Grandmaster Hun Feng said.
"Lastly, I want you to come meet me during the next full moon. I have something important for you", he said.
After their long conversation, Gui Shan returned to reality and rested that day. Awaiting the mission for the next day.

The next day came, it was eventually the day of the mission to hunt down the poison tribe. Students were busy that morning preparing for this.
Especially the new students, they've got no idea what a mission looks like. The purple cloud sect were ready and were the first to leave the academy.
Being overridden with pride, they thought they were capable on their own. So that morning master Yang Jun dispatched his students. Meanwhile both the silver eagles wing and the crimson lion wing were to converge at the academy entrance to set out.
One could see Gui Shan, Ru Yuo and Wan Fei finding their way to the designated meeting point. On their way there, Gui Shan had a conversation with Ru Yuo.
"Ru Yuo, could you believe that when I returned to my room yesterday, I discovered that someone plundered my belongings", he said.
"What! And you didn't inform me yesterday?" Ru Yuo said.
"I didn't want to make you worry, although I had already reported the incident to master Huang Ju", he said.
"That means there should be no worry. But who would have done this?" Ru Yuo said.
"You are just regular Gui Shan, what do you necessarily have that they are after", she asked.
"Time will tell", Gui Shan said as they closed the conversation.
Soon the three of them arrived at the meeting point. To their surprise, everyone was already present except the three of them.
Even senior Tan Ning and Han Xui were already present. It was then it occurred to them that this was a mission and not a training.
"Good morning students", master Huang Ju greeted them.
"Guiyi academy has a lot of expectation on these missions. So urge you all to make good use of your training and make the search a positive one", he said.
"Each of you would be paired in groups of two and four".
"And the task is that you gather all the information you can get and report back by midday", he said.
"In case you encounter extreme danger, call for assistance so that you wouldn't be overjoyed or end up killing yourself",
"A signal device would be given to you and the device is only visible to Guiyi academy students. If you're in danger or a tight spot, you can launch it", master Huang Ju said.
After the address, they were dispersed. Gui Shan, Ru Yuo, Tang Tang and Bi Yao were all in the same group.
Things went the way the four of them plan. So each groups gathered before they dispersed. "So what do we call the name of our team", Tang Tang said.
