They both thought for a while and came up with their individual decision.

"I'll do it", they said almost the same time.

Hu Mei saw this as a good opportunity to prove his worth.

He quickly grabbed a bottle and drank.

This action of his was a surprise to Ru Yuo as she never knew Hu Mei would be this selfless.

Upon drinking from a bottle, they both observed for a while and discovered that the portion he drank relieved his pains.

Hu Mei quickly heaved a sigh of relief as though he had a close shave with death.

Hu Mei quickly handed over the bottle to Ru Yuo which she drank and was also cured.

Ru Yuo was happy for that moment. "Thank you Hu Mei", she said.

Hu Mei couldn't contain his joy when he realized Ru Yuo was actually showing gratitude.

"It's my pleasure to save a beauty, anytime, anywhere", he replied.

But before Hu Mei could complete his statement, they both saw themselves back at Guiyi academy.

Ru Yuo was finally happy that she made it thus far.

Meanwhile, Hu Mei was sad and happy at the same time, his sadness arose when he realized that he has once again been separated from Ru Yuo.

They met other team members who have successfully passed the test.

"Congratulations, you both passed",

"The real purpose of the test was to see if you were willing to sacrifice for your fellow student in times of danger",

"Although none of the bottles contained poisons, but you both are truly selfless", master Lin Fei said.

Hu Mei was happy that he passed even though he was risking his life for a woman.

He was bent on finding the antidote and curing himself alone. He struggled to get the antidote first.

The masters and other teams were puzzled at Xu Gong's behavior.

Wan Fei on other angle wasn't troublesome, so he tried his best to give Xu Gong some distance to avoid him being yelled at.

Xu Gong finally spotted the antidote and rushed down there.

But surprisingly, as he was about to drink from it, he remembered that one was poisonous and the other the real thing.

Everyone in the academy were expectant of what his next actions would be.

He thought within himself to make Wan Fei drink first. So he patiently waited for Wan Fei to come.

Wan Fei arrived at the point and stood confused wondering why Xu Gong stopped his actions.

"Finally you've arrived, I was worried that you wouldn't make it",

"But since you are here, you can go ahead and drink the antidote", Xu Gong said deceitfully.

"But how do I know which is the antidote", Wan Fei said confused.

"It's simple, you just drink from any bottle", Xu Gong said.

"Hope you're not trying to take advantage of me o", Wan Fei asked.

"No, just want you to get better", Xu Gong responded.

Wan Fei decided to go first, although he wasn't so courageous, he grabbed a bottle with his shaky hands.

"Please be careful not to spill the contents of the bottle", Xu Gong said being inconsiderate.

Wan Fei was still in doubt to drink it. Xu Gong on the other hand got pissed of and forcefully poured the content into Wan Fei's mouth.

He was unaware that all his actions were being watched.

After that, he yelled that Wan Fei deserved it and added that even if he died, he won't be bothered.

But to his surprise, Wan Fei began to heal and cure.

Xu Gong quickly drank of that same bottle and he was relieved of his pains and immediately cured. He was about to move away, they were both teleported back to Guiyi academy.

"Finally, I made it", Xu Gong echoed.

"Xu Gong is hereby disqualified",

"You went as far as sacrificing your own teammate just to pass a test, you wouldn't make a good student", master Lin Fei said.

"But I did all I could to survive, it's the rule of survival",

"Wan Fei is the one who should be disqualified, he too weak", Xu Gong said.

"Congratulations Wan Fei, you passed",

The second test finally came to a conclusion. The qualifiers were;

'Hu Mei', 'Ru Yuo', 'Wan Fei',

'Gu Li', and 'Xiao Hui'.

"You all passed the second test. Although more is still to come, you have two stages left",

"And remember, as we advance, the difficult it becomes", master Lin Fei added.

Master Lin Fei finished his address and asked them to retire to their dorms and prepare for the next test which kicks off the next day.

The qualifiers returned to their dorms happily.

Gui Shan is seen laughing with his friends as they bade each other farewell.

Hu Mei on his own hasn't taken drastic actions yet since Gu Shan's background is still a mystery to him.

"See you tomorrow morning, have a nice rest", Ru Yuo said to both boys as they parted.

They returned to their dorm and relaxed anticipating the next test.

The next day came, the remaining contestants woke up with great expectations.

Still unaware of what form the test would take, the students waited in anticipation.

They are came to the gathering ground and waited for the examiner of the next test.

Not too long after their arrival, principal Ming and other wing masters arrived at the venue.

Once again they were addressed and commended for their courage and ability to make it thus far.

"I'll make it known to you guys once again that only nine participants would be selected as successful candidates",

"I advice you all to buckle up and await the remaining two tests",

"The other test would take a different form entirely", master Yang Jun said.

Master Yang Jun who presently was the master of the purple cloud wing was known for his strictness and unmatched discipline.

Soon after the speech, the participants were instructed to return to their dorms and were told to await their results.

"You are all to return to your dorm as you await your fate",

"The qualifiers of this round would be announced the next day", master Yang Jun added.

The participants were all in total confusion as they couldn't fathom what form the test is taking.

"No test was held, how are they possibly going to select those who passed the test", Tang Tang asked Gui Shan out of curiosity.

"I guess the test is being conducted secretly, so I advice that you watch your actions these few days", Gui Shan replied.

Unknowingly to the participants, while they were all gathered, secret messengers have been sent to plant various objects and valuables in their belongings.

Earth level scroll, astro-realm scroll and other valuables were planted in their various belongings.

The purpose of this test was to ascertain those of them that can show honesty and loyalty despite the gain they can amass from the academy.

Hu Mei is seen walking towards Gui Shan in the dorm, everyone was wondering why he was heading towards him.

But they all had to watch out for it. Upon getting to Gui Shan, Hu Mei started a shocking conversation.

"I'm impressed that you both could make it this far",

"All the best of luck, but watch out for me", Hu Mei said said audaciously as he walked away.

Gui Shan and Tang Tang stared at him silently as he walked away. But that wasn't their major concern.

Gui Shan's thought was how he could unveil the secret test. So he kept on thinking.

Already tired, he decided to check on his belongings and to his surprise, he found something strange.

He discovered that his bag wasn't the way he left it. At first, he thought his belongings would have being swindled.
