The Antidote
Considering the fact that Gui Shan wasn't bitten by the bees, the masters became curious.
*Team 1*
"Why aren't the bees coming after you", Jin Xu said.
"I don't know, guess they are avoiding me for no reason", Gui Shan said.
"There's something else about, I don't think it's a coincidence they are not after you", Jin Xu said.
The masters being amazed by how the bees avoided Gui Shan decided to conduct a thorough investigation on Gui Shan.
Since the bees are not just ordinary bees, as they were created by pure Qi using the academy's secret art.
Master Huang Ju was the head of the academy's investigation team, so he was assigned with that task.
Meanwhile, the various teams struggled on how to evade the bees. With every sting from the bees, poisonous toxins were injected into them.
They were now feeling weak and poisoned, since it has gotten into their bloodstream.
The reason for the test was finally coming into play.
Unaware of the fact that they were being watched, the teams struggled as they screamed.
Some team members set their signal device on and immediately they were teleported from the Zhewu realm.
They voluntarily withdrew considering the pains they were facing.
The teams left were; *Team 1 -7*
Members of team 8 and 9 voluntarily withdrew.
Finally, master Lin Fei spoke through the telepath and addressed the remaining teams.
"Ahead of you, there is an antidote to the poisons that were injected",
"Each team would find two bottles, but mind you, one is poisonous while the other is the real antidote",
"Each team are left to decide how to use it".
"But mind you, one may die from the bottle containing poison",
"Choose wisely and save yourselves", master Lin Fei stated.
The various teams struggled and scurried to the place to find the antidote.
*Team 1*
Gui Shan and Jin Xu were the first to spot the antidote among the various teams.
Upon seeing the antidote, Jin Xu was relieved that he would put an end to his pains and cure the poisons in his system.
As Jin Xu was about to grab a bottle, Gui Shan held his hands.
Meanwhile, principal Ming and the other masters were viewing them through the monitoring screen.
"Have you forgotten that one of those bottles is poisonous and may end up killing you?", Gui Shan told Jin Xu.
"What's the deal, how am I to know which is poisonous or the real antidote if I don't try them both", Jin Xu said.
"You may end up dying and inflicting more pains on yourself, I'll do it", Gui Shan said.
"No you don't, you weren't bitten, why do you want to risk yourself life instead letting me do it myself",
"I don't want to sacrifice you for my sake, besides I'm already a dying man, just let me do it", Jin Xu said.
The two of them were not willing to sacrifice each other, but in the end, Gui Shan grabbed a bottle and drank it.
They both watched for some minute and nothing happened.
With a confirmation that the bottle Gui Shan drank was the antidote, Jin Xu drank of it and was cured.
Surprisingly for them both, they were teleported back to the school.
They both found themselves before the masters and principal Ming.
"Gui Shan and Jin Xu, you both passed."
"The real purpose of the test was to see if you were willing to sacrifice for your fellow student in times of danger",
"Although none of the bottles contained poisons, but you both are truly selfless", master Lin Fei said.
The both of them heaved a sigh of relief as they heard that, they both embraced each other passionately as they rejoiced on their pass.
Meanwhile other teams were still finding their way to the antidote.
Although it's going to be a tough one for the rest teams since both members of the rest teams were poisoned.
*Team 2*
Struggling to find the antidote, Tang Tang and Yu Xuan trudged along the path.
Finally they both spotted the antidote. But their concerns rose when they remembered that one of the bottle was poisonous.
They were silent for a while thinking of the risk ahead of them and who would go first.
"I'll go first", Tang Tang said prepared for whatever followed.
"Why you and not me?",
"We were both bitten but you are making me feel guilty of wanting to sacrifice you",
"I won't let you do it", Yu Xuan asked out of pity.
"We have no other choice, it's either one of us do it and save ourselves than we both dying", Tang Tang said.
"But you can't be assured that you won't die after taking the poisonous bottle" Yu Xuan said.
"Let's hope and believe I choose the right one", Tang Tang said.
Tang Tang quickly grabbed a bottle, held it for a while as he stared at Yu Xuan.
Deep in Yu Xuan's heart, he wished it wasn't the poisonous bottle.
Tang Tang quickly gulped it down into his system, interested on what would happen next.
Suddenly, Tang Tang fell on the floor. Unknowingly to Yu Xuan, Tang Tang was feigning death.
As Yu Xuan was about to wail, Tang Tang sprung up laughing.
"I'm still alive, thank goodness", Tang Tang said.
"You almost scared the hell out of me", Yu Xuan said.
Meanwhile, in the academy, Gui Shan laughed very hard at Tang Tang's fake death.
Even the masters were had almost thought they mistaked theirs for poison.
Yu Xuan quickly drank all the contents of the bottle and they both felt relieved of the pains that came with the bites.
To their surprise, the next moment they saw themselves in the academy, facing Gui Shan, Jin Xu alongside the masters.
"Congratulations, you both passed",
"The real purpose of the test was to see if you were willing to sacrifice for your fellow student in times of danger",
"Although none of the bottles contained poisons, but you both are truly selfless", master Lin Fei said.
Both youngsters rejoiced immediately they were told they passed the test.
"I know you'll make it bro", Gui Shan said to Tang Tang as they embraced each other.
"I just hope Ru Yuo also make it", Tang Tang said.
"I believe she'll do", Gui Shan said with confidence.
*Team 3*
Bi Yao and Mao Li seem to have located the antidote.
"You seem not to feel any pain from the sting", Mao Li said referring to Bi Yao.
"I'm immune to poisons", she said.
Although Bi Yao was stung by the poisonous bees, it seems not to take any effect on her.
Reason be that, her father, Eunuch Wang had always trained her with poisons and made his only daughter immune to poisons.
And while growing up, she could play with poisonous insect and not get harmed.
"I won't be too surprised, you are the daughter of great Eunuch Wang", Mao Li added.
But Mao Li's concern rose when he remembered one of the bottles was poisonous.
"This means my fate lies in my hands",
"I have to drink of the two bottles hoping I pick the antidote", Mao Li said.
"No you don't have to, I'll test for the antidote", Bi Yao said.
"But how would you tell that you are drinking the poisonous one, since you're immune to poisons", Mao Li said.
"I'll know once I drink of it, don't be scared, I won't die", Bi Yao said.
She then drank of one bottle and immediately found out her first choice was the antidote.
She immediately gave it to Mao Li, which he drank.
Immediately, Mao Li was relieved of his pains.
He thanked Bi Yao for her help and for saving his life.
"I'm grateful for your help", Mao Li said.
But surprisingly for them, the were teleported to the academy.
They met other team members who have successfully passed the test.
"Congratulations, you both passed",
"The real purpose of the test was to see if you were willing to sacrifice for your fellow student in times of danger",
"Although none of the bottles contained poisons, but you both are truly selfless", master Lin Fei said.
They were still some teams left, more...
*Team 4*
Even with the bites from the bees, Hu Mei was still happy to be together with Ru Yuo.
Although they were both moaning because of the poison in their system.
But they had a glimpse of hope when they got to the location of the antidote.
But their hope sunk when they remembered that one of the bottles contained poison.
They both kept silent for a while.
Hu Mei thought deep down within himself;
"I can't just let her do it, besides it time for me to prove that I'm selfless and willing to sacrifice myself for her", he thought.
Meanwhile for Ru Yuo, she thought within herself; "Just because I detest him doesn't mean I should use him like a pawn...
