Intermission

After that there was a moment of silence. It was then it occured to them they each had to report back at their manor.

So they both quickly returned to their manor to continue training for that day.

Meanwhile, Gui Shan and Bi Yao seem so intimate and engrossed with each other. But let's watch and see how the story ends.

. . .

Day Two*

The training went on in the various wings and all the students seem to be making progress and getting stronger.

The two days was training was finally over. After the training on the second day, master Huang Ju called for a compulsory planning meeting.

The meeting was held mid-afternoon at the academy's main hall. Together with Elder Si Yin, principal Ming, the masters and the students, plans were made on how to invade Sushi village.

Immediately they were all gathered, the meeting kick-started with principal Ming opening up the meeting.

"I welcome you all to this planning meeting. Recently the empire of Wushu is getting a major threat from the poison tribe and it's our duty to see that we eliminate any form of threat within our reach," he said.

"We are all gathered here in respect of the recent infiltration of the poison sect in Sushi village and it's out duty to fight against the evil and restore the land."

"For some days now, you students have undergone rigorous training to see that you get strong enough to battle against them and I believe we are all prepared for this," he said.

"From the Intel we have, we were able to come up with a blueprint on how to attack them unawares," he said.

After that, he invited Elder Si Yin to explain the strategy and the role the students have to play.

"Ahem!!! I've come with a sneak attack plan," Elder Si Yin said.

"If storm into the village and they discover you all as Guiyi academy students, the enemy would be alerted, so we need to ensure that we lure them all out take them all down."

"So we would all attack their hideout and annihilate the guards and underlings present there at that time."

"I believe by doing this, we'll draw out the bigger fishes and eventually the ring leader and her elites,"

"Only by doing this would we be able to protect the people at the same time," he said.

"So we'll depart tomorrow by night fall so the we can also arrive there by night fall and sneak attack on them," he said.

"When leaving Nirong city, we would do this without alerting their spies and informants," he added.

"Impressive, Elder Si Yin is so knowledgeable, I myself may not be able to come up with such a plan. I still have a lot to learn from you," master Huang Ju said.

"I'm flattered, this is just a simple plan I came up with, I believe we still need some of your pointers," Elder Si Yin said with a smile.

After that, principal Ming drew the meeting to a close.

"So my students, ensure you work hand in hand with Elder Si Yin, he's a very experienced martial artist. I believe that with his leading, you're sure to return with victory," Principal Ming said.

"Yes master," they all responded.

After the meeting that day, they dispersed back to their various wings in order to make preparations for the battle ahead.

They all returned back to their various wings to make preparations. On getting to their various manors, they had to relax and prepare for the journey ahead the next day.

...

*CRIMSON LION WING*

The day finally came, all the students in the various wings are bursting with expectations on how their encounter would look like.

That very morning, so unusual of Gui Shan, he was up so early and had many thoughts flowing. He just lay on his bed thinking so deeply on how the battle would look like.

He was in that position till it was already dawn. One could hear the chirping voices of the birds that morning.

Gui Shan then decided to go outside and watch the sunrise. But beyond his expectation, Ru Yuo and Wan Fei were already sitting outside gazing into the skies.

They greeted each other as Gui Shan joined the scene. After a while, the three of them began discussing.

"Gui Shan the day has finally come. I can't wait to show those poison tribe bitches what I got," Ru Yuo said as she laughed.

"I advice you not to get too excited, we have a lot of responsibility on us. This battle won't be as simple as it is," Gui Shan said.

"Yeah you're right. My mother once told me that in a battle, only the strong comes out unscathed, it's either you win or get killed," Wan Fei said.

"Both of you are right, but I believe if the guys are too strong for me, brother Gui Shan would lynch them on my behalf," Ru Yuo said as she laughed.

Just then as they were still absorbed in their conversation, they saw senior Tan Ning approaching their direction and stood up for pleasantries.

"Good morning senior," they greeted.

"Good morning you all. Master Huang Ju requests to see us all in his chambers this morning. So hurry up with whatever you're doing and come over," Tan Ning said as be left.

The three of them actually had nothing they were doing, so they immediately left for master Huang Ju's chamber.

They all arrived their and the meeting kick-started.

"Good morning my students," master Huang Ju said.

"The reason I called you all here this morning is for some important reasons."

"You all would be leaving the academy to have a faceoff with members of the poison tribe,"

"I believe this is the first life-staking battle you'll be engaging in since your admission into the academy," he said.

"My advice for you all is that you ensure that you watch each other's back in the course of the battle,"

"Only by doing so would you have victory and come back alive," master Huang Ju said.

"You've all learnt in-depth martial art skills, ensure you put them all to practice and fight in your best shape," he said.

After the meeting, they all returned to their rooms and continued with their activities for that day as they made preparations for the invasion.

Similar took place in the rest of the wings, all the masters took time to advice their students and inculcate the team work spirit into them.

Evening was fast approaching, so they made preparations towards the mission. When evening came, they all gathered at the academy's main hall to meet before departure.

So they all gathered there alongside principal Ming and the masters.

"I welcome you all to this brief meeting before your departure," principal Ming said.

"I want you all to know that we are proud of you all. It gives us joy seeing put the interest of the people in your heart and at the same time makes us sad when we leave us and go into a battle," he said.

"I believe the poison sect would be totally annihilated from Sushi village, all you have to do is follow Elder Si Yin's guidance."

After the meeting, they all waited till it was fully dark and began their journey to Sushi village. This time around, they moved with horses as Elder Si Yin lead the way.

Principal Ming and rest of the academy bade them farewell. After running for a while, they got out of Nirong city and headed in the direction of Sushi village.

They continued in their journey and galloped all the way. They eventually came to a stop when Elder Si Yin stopped and raised his hands.

"We'll stop here tonight, since we've covered half of our journey, we'll depart by noon tomorrow," he said.

After that, they all made tents and rested for the remaining hours of the night. When it was eventually morning, they woke up, washed themselves and had breakfast.

That morning, Elder Si Yin sat under a tree gazing at the rising sun while the students had fun. Just then Chen Feng walked up to him to ask some questions.

Good morning Elder," Chen Feng greeted.

"I was bothered that we may be wasting time, so I came to seek your advice on what we should do this morning until we depart by noon?" he asked.

"That question is very wise of you to ask. I think you all should use this time to meditate and cool down before the battle begins," Elder Si Yin said.

So after a while, they all entered a state of meditation and each individual practiced on improving their Qi control.

While others were doing that, Gui Shan was busy practicing his wolf skills. His ability in wolf mode seems to be increasing by each practice.

So in the process, he open up all his acupoint and released his wolf energy letting his body flow with vital Qi.
