The Battle

At a distance, everyone of them could feel the strong energy coming from Gui Shan's direction. Even Elder Si Yin noticed it.

"Wow...such an extraordinary young man. Guiyi academy should be proud to have him as their student," Elder Si Yin said within himself.

All the students were stunned by strong energy he possessed and got distracted from their own practice as they all watched him in surprise.

Immediately Gui Shan was done with his practice, he was surprised when he saw everyone staring at him. At this point, he knew that he had gone a little far, so he just smiled.

Just then Tang Tang ran towards him. "Gui Shan...Gui Shan...how did you just do that," Tang Tang asked.

"Do what?" Gui Shan asked as though he knew nothing.

"The strong energy we all witnessed, didn't it come from you?" Tan Ning asked.

"It's just a little skill I learnt," Gui Shan replied.

"What's the name of the skill, I already want to learn it," Ru Yuo said in eagerness.

"Err...errr..., It's called 'full release', yeah 'full release skill'," Gui Shan said out of the blue.

"I just gathered enough Qi in my body and released to different parts of my body at a time," Gui Shan said.

"Amazing!" Ru Yuo said.

"Perhaps it's one of the kills master Huang Ju thought you at the ancestral temple training right?" Ru Yuo asked.

"Yes...yes," Gui Shan nodded as he felt relief.

"Hmph...all these are lies, I would dig out the truth one day," Hu Mei said as he hissed and continued his training.

Meanwhile, Elder Si Yin watched from a distance and pretended not to know what was happening. After a while, Tang Tang, Bi Yao, Ru Yuo and Wan Fei were all training with Gui Shan wanting to learn the amazing skill.

They all trained till it was noon and were set to continue their journey. Before they set out, Elder Si Yin addressed them and gave them some instructions.

"Ensure that you tie your horse to a very firm anchorage as we would be walking by foot for the remaining part of the journey," he said.

"Yes Elder," they all responded.

After that, they all set out for the invasion. They journeyed on foot and were gradually approaching the hideout which was close to Sushi village.

It was still a little bit bright, so they all waited for darkness to set in before they attacked.

So they lurked behind after spotting the hideout as they sought for the best opportunity to attack. Meanwhile, in the hideout, security measures was as usual.

They didn't expect anyone would attack at that hour so they all let their guards down and relaxed.

"Are you all ready?" Elder Si Yin asked.

"Yes Elder," they all responded.

"Good. We are going attack from behind and also give a frontal attack. So nine of you would attack from the back of the hideout and would be led by Hu Mei,"

"While the remaining nine would go with me and attack from the front. And remember, spare one person that would help convey our message to their leader," Elder Si Yin said.

After planning, they split into two groups. Some followed a route that led to the back of the hideout, while the orders were led by Elder Si Yin to give a frontal attack.

When the time was right, they sprung on the guards who were already dozing off. Without much struggle, they got through the defense and infiltrated the hideout.

Most of the underlings inside the hideout were unaware of what's happening, considering the fact that the guards were silenced without much struggling.

The men got alarmed when they were already attacked. Before they could take counter measures, most of them had been wiped out.

"Intruders!!! Intruders!!!" they screamed.

Just then the men guarding the prison were suddenly alarmed, but fortunate for them, Chen Feng's group had already arrived and came on them.

The combat wasn't too intense before they got defeated. The people who had been abducted suddenly had a glimpse of hope in their faces, but it gradually died down when one of the guards screamed.

"My master and her elite team won't let you off," the guard who was already tied up screamed.

Just then Elder Si Yin and his group arrived at the scene.

"Good work. Seems you did a great job," Elder Si Yin said.

"I wonder why we did all those hard training, I didn't even break a sweat before I was able to defeat them," Hu Mei said as he laughed in a mocking tone.

"Don't get over excited, the battle only began, the challenge is yet to come, be focused," Elder Si Yin said.

After that, Elder released the guard and gave him a hard warning.

"I only spared you because I want you to run to your master and inform her of our arrival," he said.

Immediately, he set the guard free and sent him running to call their leader. After that, Elder Si Yin assured the people of their safety.

"You don't have to fret, just hold on, we'll get you out of here soon," Elder Si Yin said.

"Students, let's go a bit farther from these people in order to prevent them from getting attacked," he said.

So they all moved towards the entrance and took strategic positions as they planned.

"Remember, immediately they enter into the cave, we encircle them in order to be of advantage," Elder Si Yin said.

"Yes master," they all responded.

So they waited a while for the evil Zi Lan and her elite team.

Meanwhile, the guard they let off ran towards the village to inform his master of the situation. He knew where to find her at that time, so he ran to their secret meeting room, where Zi Lan and her elite team always made plans.

Immediately he got there, he knocked forcefully at the door and called out;

"Master! Master! Master! Please open up," he cried out.

Even hearing the voice calling her master, Zi Lan took precautions in order not to be ambushed, she sent one her elites to open the door.

Immediately the door was opened, the underling ran in panting.

"Master! Master! Our hideout is under siege, some group of martial artists are there and annihilated all our men," 

"They spared me so that I can pass the information to you. And they wish to have a confrontation with you," he said.

"Who are they??? How many are they in number?" Zi Lan asked.

"I wasn't able to count them, but I think they may total to twenty," the guard said.

"Their number doesn't matter, how can they be so bold to infiltrate my hideout and kill my men. I won't let them off," Zi Lan said.

After that, she stormed out of the room and headed for the hideout with her elite team.

It didn't take her long before they arrived at the hideout. Fearlessly she and elite team stormed into the cave not minding any ambush.

Immediately they entered, to their amazement, they were encircled by the students.

"Hahaha... hahaha..., Why encircle us?", Zi Lan said as she laughed.

"I can see that we were able to draw out students of Guiyi academy. It would be a pleasure to end all of your lives, after all, I've been longing to battle with you all,"

"But painfully, your masters are not here. From the description I got, I don't think they followed you here, except this man," she said pointing at Elder Si Yin.

"What a pity! I can't believe your masters actually sent you all to your deaths," she said as she laughed harder.

"They should have been present to witness it as I grant you all your death wish," Zi Lan said.

"Mind you, I'm not blind. I can see we are evenly matched in terms of our numbers, but I can't guarantee that for our strength and skill," she said.

"Even if you are able to defeat my elite team, I bet none of you here would be able to defeat me considering how much power I've obtained," Zi Lan said as she laughed.

"Hahaha... hahaha...,"

"My master, the ring leader of the poison tribe had passed down most of his unmatched skills to me. Seems I have to test them on you all," she said.

"With my dark technique, I can defeat even a master, so I see you all as worms. I'll just sit down and let my elite team play with you," Zi Lan said as she sat on a rock.

The students got pissed off, so they immediately engaged in combat. The elite team were really skilled, so it was a one on one battle.

To shock of the students, the elite team were already having an upper hand in the combat.

"Do this for the people and for the pride of Guiyi academy," Elder Si Yin said as he watched them combat.

"Seems the battle is between the both of us," Elder Si Yin said referring to Zi Lan.

"Hahaha... hahaha..., I don't believe a old scum like you would be my match. Hahaha... hahaha...," Zi Lan laughed harder.
