Gui Shan was shocked when Grandmaster Hun Feng told him he had successfully advanced to level two of earth level stage.
"But you have to keep this to yourself, and await the martial arts competition. Use the wolf mode only when necessary, you can fight normally when your opponents are not too strong," old man Hun Feng said.
After training for about an hour, he came back to consciousness and rested for the remaining hours of the day waiting for the next day training.
...
It was another beautiful morning. For Gui Shan, it was another day to get stronger.
He tidied up his room, washed himself up, had breakfast that morning and left for training. He whistled as he walked on the way to the ancestral temple.
When Gui Shan arrived there, quite a few of them had already arrived, senior Tan Ning was the only one left. He came in later about two minutes after Gui Shan arrived.
As usual, they awaited the arrival of master Lin Fei. After some waiting, she walked in majestically.
"Good morning students," she greeted.
"Good morning master," they all replied.
"I believe you all had a great night," she said.
"We are going to proceed with our training this morning without any form of delay," master Lin Fei said.
"I believe in our training yesterday, you were able to grasp the acupoint technique in immobilizing an opponent," master Lin Fei said.
"Today, applying the same principle, were going to learn how block the flow of Qi and vital energy," she said.
"If Yang meridian of an individual is blocked, the flow of Qi and vital energy is cut off,"
"But it requires skill for you to hit the point. Once you succeed in hitting the Yang point which is located in the upper abdomen the individual is rendered powerless that very instant," she said.
"I believe you saw what happened the day I illustrated the skill, Bi Yao lost her power temporarily and her punches were ineffective and weak."
"So I'll give another simple illustration and you'll all give it a trial," master Lin Fei said.
She then called Bi Yao forward and this time around, she did the technique in a more steady way as the students watched carefully. She blocked Bi Yao's Yang point and unblocked it after sometime.
"Hope you all saw what I did clearly? Remember that the Qi directed to the meridian must be minimal," master Lin Fei said.
After that, she gave each of them an open to try out the technique. Each of students already knew their partner, so they all anticipated the moment.
Chen Feng and Hu Mei were the first to step forward. They did as master Lin Fei directed and they were able to block and unblock each other's meridian with ease since they were each on a standstill.
The students were not so surprised since they also passed the first technique in one trial.
Next on was Tan Ning and Gui Shan. They both stepped forward to give it a trial. The curiosity of everyone at that moment was centered on the both of them.
Everyone was eager to see if the technique would work on Gui Shan or be ineffective as the first, so their eyes were fixed on that moment.
"Gui Shan, you may go first," Tan Ning said.
Gui Shan then took the first try and was able to successfully as he blocked his meridians. Tan Ning then gave it a trial to see if he could also use his Qi and as expected he lost his powers temporarily.
Everyone cheered them up as Gui Shan unblocked his Yang point. It was then Tan Ning's turn, it was the long and awaited moment.
Everyone including master Lin Fei watched to see the outcome.
Just as master Lin Fei directed, Tan Ning gathered some amount of Qi in his hand and inserted it to Gui Shan's Yang acupoint.
As everyone had anticipated, it didn't take any effect, Gui Shan was still able to use his skills and kung fu. Tan Ning tried severally and the results were still the same.
Master Lin Fei just like last time, came and tried it out herself. She hit Gui Shan's Yang acupoint, but his vital energy and Qi still flowed unhindered.
"Whoa....," the students exclaimed in amazement.
"I knew it, Gui Shan isn't human. How can two consecutive technique be ineffective on him, when it works on even masters," Hu Mei said within himself.
"I'm short of words. Hmmm...it seems Gui Shan has a special kind of body that is resistant to all acupoint technique," she said.
"I'm convinced it's something natural, perhaps it runs in their lineage. And it's a great advantage to him also," master Lin Fei said.
The eyes of everyone at that moment were fixated on Gui Shan. It was as though they were all analyzing his body physique.
Qin Feiye and Bi Yao then stepped forward to give it a try. They followed the directives master Lin Fei gave and were able to do it.
After they had all shown their capabilities, master Lin Fei stepped forward to continue the training.
"You all did great, I can see that you all paid rapt attention while I was teaching," master Lin Fei said.
"Most importantly, unlike the Ying meridian, the Yang meridian is difficult to access during combat as your opponent may guard against you from hitting them directly."
"So you must learn how to create an avenue to use the technique," master Lin Fei added.
...
Training continued, days turned into weeks and they all seem to have mastered the acupoint technique.
On the last day of the training, master Lin Fei decided to teach them the very last technique since they had been training for several days now.
That very morning, the students all gathered and enthusiastic since it was the last day of the training.
They all had high hopes and were expectant since master Lin Fei told them she would be teaching them the last part of the technique.
"Good morning students," master Lin Fei greeted as she walked into the ancestral temple.
"Good morning master," they all replied.
"I know each of you are expectant and waiting to see the technique I'll teach you," she said.
"If you can recall, I told you we have one more acupoint, which is the most important. It's called the 'YinTang' meridian, the hall of impression," master Lin Fei said.
"This acupoint is concerned with an individual's cultivation. Once your YinTang meridian is blocked, you'll lose all your years of cultivation," she added.
"The technique entails sealing both the Ying and Yang meridian at the same time,"
"The technique is rarely used as it takes only the ability of a Grandmaster to seal both points," master Lin Fei added.
"So therefore the technique is impracticable by you students. So all you have to do is strengthen the other two techniques to ensure you have a proper grip on them," she added.
"So today being the last day of my training with you, each of you are going test the technique in a combat stance. Then I'll ascertain the winner in five minutes," she said.
"So if in a combat the two opponents are unable to defeat each other, they both lose. Remember you have five minutes to win using the acupoint technique," master Lin Fei added.
After that, she paired them up;
'Chen Feng vs Bi Yao', 'Tan Ning vs Qin Feiye', and 'Gui Shan vs Hu Mei'.
After the combat, Hu Mei lost to Gui Shan after being hit in his Ying acupoint and completely immobilized before the time was up. The rest of them were one a tie with each other and had a draw.
After the combat, master Lin Fei pointed out some of their flaws and gave further directives that would help them in combats.
"I'm very pleased by the way you all grasped my teachings, and I strongly believe that with the teaching of the other masters, you should be able to win at the martial arts competition," master Lin Fei said.
After she had some conversation with them, the training activity came to an end that day.
All the students returned back to their various happily, except for Hu Mei who was angry that he got defeated by Gui Shan.
That very evening, while all the students were in their blocks resting, master Lin Fei had to report the stats of the two weeks training.
So she went ahead to see principal Ming. Meanwhile principal Ming had been waiting for her arrival in his office.
"Good day Elder Ming," master Lin Fei greeted.
"Enough with pleasantries, you may be seated. How has the training been with the students?" Principal Ming asked.
"The training was a success as all the students were fully able to grasp the acupuncture technique," master Lin Fei said.
"Another thing elder. During the training, I discovered something about Gui Shan," she said.
"You can go ahead," principal Ming said.
