Internal Kung Fu Training

"Unlike normal martial artists and humans, the acupoint technique didn't take effect on him. And we are aware for decades that it wolf warriors possessed such abilities," master Lin Fei said.

"I've also suspected that Gui Shan is a descendant of the wolf bloodline. The special abilities he possesses and his mode of combat and off the charts for an ordinary martial artist," principal Ming said.

"Perhaps master Huang Ju already knows, but let's lie low for now and keep these to ourselves our else we may out him in danger,"

"I just hope fate won't be too hard on him," principal Ming said.

After that their meeting ended as master Lin Fei returned to her wing. Principal Ming was silent as different thoughts were running through his mind.

It was another beautiful day. In Guiyi academy, the students were already going about their daily routine.

The competition candidates were already present at their training ground. Other students that weren't part of this engaged themselves in their individual training.

That morning at the ancestral temple, all the students stood as they awaited who would show up next. What ran through Gui Shan's thought that moment was;

"Who would be our next teacher? What aspect is he going to train us? ...

All the candidates waited expectantly for the next chapter to show up. After some minutes of waiting, master Huang Ju walked into the ancestral temple.

At the sight of him, all the students took good standing positions and greeted him.

"Good morning master," they all greeted.

"Good morning students. How was your night?," master Huang Ju asked.

"It was great," they responded.

"Ahem! I believe for some days now, you've been undergoing rigorous training from previous teacher," master Huang Ju said.

"Training ones combat skills is the key to martial arts and of utmost priority. But when you lack internal Kung Fu, there is a possibility of you losing to a person with a strong base of internal Kung Fu," he said.

"When you possess good internal Kung Fu, it'll strengthen your martial arts skills and make your attacks more powerful," master Huang Ju said.

"So in the next two weeks, we're going to base training on your inner strength skills," he said.

After that, he stepped forward as he made way to the door of the ancestral temple. He invited the students in since their training would be inside the temple.

In the temple, master Huang Ju stood in an elevated platform as he instructed the students.

"I'm quite everyone of you here have already developed a good Qi base which is the root of internal Kung Fu," he said.

"But in order greater chance of winning at the martial arts competition, you'll need to increase your level of Qi in folds," master Huang Ju added.

"In this two weeks of training, I'm going unravel to you all the secret behind internal Kung Fu," he said.

"You must follow the four tenets I'm about to tell you and say the mantra repeatedly till it's part of you."

After saying this, master Huang Ju quoted the four tenets as the students paid rapt attention.

"Still your thoughts, forget your attachments. Forget your body to understand the spirit. When your heart fails, your soul persists. When the sun rises, the darkness fades," master Huang Ju said.

"Also remember, when you meditate, you must not think. Your spirit cannot falter, your soul cannot waver," he said.

After that, he made all candidates repeat the tenets after him.

"The secret behind internal Kung Fu lies behind these tenets. When you focus your energy, remember these tenets," master Huang Ju said.

Already, master Huang Ju was already sitting in a meditating position, same with the rest of the students.

So all the students said the tenets as they meditated. The temple was serene and everyone were focused on meditation. Only master Huang Ju spoke.

"Remember, when consistently practice internal Kung Fu for this two weeks, it'll spread Qi all over your pressure points," master Huang Ju said.

So all the students did as master Huang Ju said and were gradually getting a grasp of what he said. They were getting through with the skill.

After meditating for some hours, master Huang Ju called on their attention.

"That's enough meditating for today, we'll proceed and test our martial arts skills and see how powerful they've become," master Huang Ju said he led them out.

So each of them took turns and demonstrated their skills to see the difference. To their surprise, there was a increase in the potency of their skills compare to before.

"Wow...I feel my skill improved suddenly," Hu Mei said.

"Me too. I didn't know my punch can cause such an impression on a tree," Tan Ning said pointing at a tree he punched using Qi he accumulated in his hands.

"Come to think of it, if you consistently practice this way for two weeks, you'll should advance to a new level and become even more stronger," master Huang Ju said.

"This shows that there is still room to improve your manipulation of Qi and internal energy," he said.

"The training would stop here today, we'll continue tomorrow,"

"Remember to inscribe the tenets in your heart as they would go a long way in helping you learn the secret behind internal Kung Fu," master Huang Ju added.

After this they all dispersed and returned to their wings.

....

It was another day of training, fate seems to be taking a fast turn. The candidate representatives for the competition are still training under master Huang Ju.

They seemed to have developed their internal Kung Fu greatly. Meanwhile, in other academies, same rigorous training was going on as none would want their students defeated.

Indeed it will be a great event, let's see how fate would turn out.

After many days of training with master Huang Ju, it was the last day of the two weeks span. The candidates seems to be doing pretty well, since the training has greatly improved them.

That very day, master Huang Ju decided to ascertain the cultivation base of everyone of them and see how much they've improved.

So he called out each of them to step forward and show their most powerful skill. Unknowing to them, master Huang Ju wanted to see the stage of cultivation they've advanced to.

To his surprise, all the candidates had advanced to the first level of the stage of enlightenment. But the most amazing was that of Gui Shan.

When Gui Shan came forward to show his most powerful skill, master Huang Ju discovered that Gui Shan was already at level two, earth level stage. This is the same level masters in the academy had attained.

"I can't believe that at Gui Shan's young age, he has already got to my level. Soon he may surpass me, I just hope fate wouldn't be too hard on him, but help him fulfil his destiny," master Huang Ju said within himself.

Unknowing to him, Gui Shan had advanced to that level for months and that wasn't the day he advanced. Lucky for Gui Shan, his wolf training with Grandmaster Hun Feng is actually paying off.

That very day, they practiced for several hours and the training came to an end. As the day goes by, the candidates are getting more confident and anticipating the martial arts competition which is just a month away.

The students dispersed to their various wings with fulfilment. As from the next day, they'll be having a new training and get new tactics.

Meanwhile, while the students returned back to their wings, master Huang Ju went to report the progress of the training to principal Ming.

On getting there, they exchanged pleasantries and started a conversation.

"Master Huang Ju, I believe your training was a success," principal Ming said.

"Yes Elder Ming. Our students are such fast learners, I believe they would definitely make us proud at the martial arts competition," master Huang said.

"Interesting! How about the talented lad, Gui Shan?" Principal Ming asked with curiosity.

"He's doing well and would make this academy proud," master Huang Ju said.

Master Huang Ju already knowing where Elder Ming was heading to cleared his throat to speak.

"... actually I ought to have told you this for a long time now," master Huang Ju said.

"But I kept it back for some reasons. Nevertheless, I feel it is important you know of it now and I believe you would see to it,"

"Uuhhh...Gui Shan you see is a very special boy,"

"You can recall recall that several months ago, I conducted some investigation and ran some background check," master Huang Ju said.

"In the course of that, I discovered Gui Shan's true origin and who his parents were, since they are already dead," he said.

"Uuhhh...I think I should just drive in and tell you the secret I've been keeping about him," master Huang Ju said ready to speak.
