124: YOU ARE STILL DRAMATIC?

Andrew received a call from an unknown caller. The ringing of the phone made his heart stop. He knew the moment had come. Vicky and Brian looked at him and they nodded for him to do the necessary.

After a little conversation, he told both of them that their most awaited visitor was downstairs.

They didn't want to go there all at once. The most person who needed to meet her was Brian.

Andrew suggested that he goes there on his own and they will be watching him from far.

Brian was given a secret microphone. This was for her safety and to monitor his conversations with Katherine. This was like a spy mission, the spies were Vicky and Andrew while Kathrine was the culprit, Brian was the bait.

Even though it was just Brian meeting his mother, they knew things might go south any time And the best way to fight it is to be prepared early.

"I love you," Brian said for the last time before they both walked out of the room. They nodded and Vicky pulled him for a final hug before letting him get into the elevator.

The waiting room was not full since most visitors walked in and ordered their rooms. Only a few people were seated here and there.

Brian didn't know what to expect. He had earlier crammed his face and thought he would see someone who looked a bit of him. Looking around the crowd who were I'm the waiting bay, he doesn't see and a lady with a bit of his complexion.

He didn't want to look lost, since he placed his mask on his nose and talked through the mouthpiece.

"Can you see anyone?" He asked and Kept walked near the seat next to him.

"Sweetheart, I don't know her description right now, but be calm, maybe she is not here yet," spoke Andrew in assuring voice.

Twenty-five years is very long to remember someone you barely want to meet. He can't even fathom her appearance in his head.

All that he wanted was for everything to be over, that is why he was trying his best to make sure that this meeting went as calm and discreet as possible.

He remembered earlier when he was making arrangements for the meeting, Katharine expressed that she wanted it in an open place and not an enclosed area. Andrew agreed to her wishes which is why he had to take the underground floor, to avoid any more problems.

Vicky saw a woman approaching, and the pictures of the day of Labour flushed in her head. Her wavy hair is still the same. She is more sophisticated now than in the last twenty-four years.

Once the slim body has been gyms trained to make her ass pop like a balloon. Dressed in a black lace dress, her feet all graced in nude heels, handbag on her side and shades to hide her identity.

Vicky poked Andrew and his eyes turned towards the direction that Vicky was pointing at.

"Nine O'Clock Brian, shades, and a big handbag," murmured Andrew into the microphone.

Brian the good pretender removed his phone from his pocket and pretended to be looking at something instead he used the camera from his phone for the woman he was supposed to meet.

He didn't get to see her quite well because of the shades, he just placed the phone in his ears and told them that he had seen her before returning it into his pant's pocket.

The woman walked steadily to him, Brian didn't want to look so excited to meet her.

"Look at her and that is enough!" He remembered mom Vicky's word.

He thought everything was going to fall in place. Instead of just maintaining a straight focus, there was a lump that stood in his throat with each step that the lady took, the lump kept growing which made it harder for him to swallow the saliva that was stuck in his throat.

The lady removed her shades and Brian abruptly stood up and watched as she walked closer to him. The lady had to rub her eyes to look at the fine, snacky looking young person in front of him.

She has seen this face somewhere, she can't remember bit she has seen this resemblance in some tabloids and even some Tv shows.

She has magazines of him, she remembers him from The BET awards where singer, Lil Nax stole a kiss from him. He is a professional dancer, a model and a fashion designer, he is the person behind the dress she was wearing together with a woman known as Vicky.

She smiled.

"My son is a celebrity!" Her heart shouted.

She moved quicker than the previous time. Opening her arms even before she reached him.

Brian didn't know what to do, as the lady walked up to him and embraced him in a tight hug.

Suddenly cameras were being taken everywhere, the paparazzi were alerted and they also attended the meeting, disguised as normal people.

Vicky upon seeing this, rushed towards Brian quickly, while Andrew's phone rang from his pocket, he stood and looked at the caller.

"It's a trap, she called the news reporter, get Brian out of the place," shouted Mike from the other side.

The guards around were alerted and Vicky using the scarf that was tied close to her face went and placed it over Brian and also made sure that no one saw her.

Looking at Kathrine, "you are still dramatic? I thought it was only you and no one else! This is done!" Shouted Vicky gritting her teeth beneath her breath as she dragged Brian with her escaping towards the elevator without being caught by the paparazzi.

Once inside the elevator, Brian was still shocked. He was not saying anything, he was just there looking at the blank elevator. Vicky didn't lie about what to tell him.

It's not like he has never been published by the paparazzi before. Those are his obstacle every day. The only thing that people never knew was hos personal background.

Vicky thought that perhaps is because he has seen his mother and it triggered the memories or the dreams that he has been having.

"Do you think they recognized my face?" Asked Brian trying to act as cool as possible.

"The mask might have saved you, but let's not get ahead of ourselves," assured Vicky.

She knew every well, there is nothing paparazzi couldn't do when it comes to identifying someone. She also feared that the personal life he has been trying to hide ever since it became clear that Nax and he had something going on was going to be exposed.

Andrew quickly run to them as soon as he saw them leaving the lift.

"Brian am so sorry that...."

Brian didn't let him finish any what he saying and hugged him tightly.

"It's okay dad, it's not your fault," said Brian.

Brian thought that she would at least have some decency to see him but it turnouts she didn't have any.

"Why would she even bring the press with her?" asked Brian while sitting down in the room that they had previously.

"She thought that we were so desperate to meet her maybe for help or something," said Andrew while checking on his phone.

"You know what, I think this was stupid of me, I thought that even for once she would say that the is sorry for not taking care of me but, no, she will never be sorry for what she did. She will always think she knows what is good. Or she thinks I didn't get good life or something? Noo. I got it!"

Brian had erupted, he was going to be drastic. Hos voice was raised high and Vicky was afraid that he will have a mental break because of the stress.

Andrew had run inside the washroom. He knew how his son was feeling and he didn't want anyone to see him crying. He jas been crying when Brian was young and he didn't want him seeing him this way.

Vicky understood him and walked over to Brian to calm him down.

Suddenly the phone rang again. The true caller brought Kathrine's face as the caller.

Vicky wanted to answer it but decided against it. She has to make sure that everyone was okay. It rang again and Andrew walked from the washroom to take a look at it.

"What does she want now?" Asked Andrew in an angry tone.

"Let her be papa, if she wanted to make amends she would have shown that a long time ago looks like we were begging her to see us!" Said Brian.

Andrew switched the phone off and sat at the table.

Brian doesn't want to see her then that is it. He was not going to force issues with Kathrine.

They decided to call it a day and spent the night there instead of going home.

Vicky received a call from her husband and went into the bedroom to take the call.

"Are you sure you don't want to see her again?" Asked Andrew.

Brian lifted his eyes and looked at his dad. He knew his dad only wanted the best for him. He wanted to see him happy. For him to look for the woman who donated her egg to give birth to him and make her come see him so that he can be at peace, he must have loved him a lot.

"I don't think I want to dad, I think I will be sleeping happily," he chuckled happily as he snugged on Vicky's lap.

"You are still treating him like a baby!" Teased Andrew while looking at Vicky.

"Because he is, I will do that!" Said Vicky defensively.
