145: I UNDERSTAND YOUR ACTIONS!

"Hello everyone?" Shouted Brian as he walked inside the house. Davids followed him in with a silent hello like a chicken that had been rained on.

Their parents wore shocked faces as they saw them come in. Vicky was seated down on the carpet as Mike was behind her trying to calm her down, Ann and Andrew were seated next to each other holding hands.

Brian wanted to tell them, 'it's okay we heard what you were saying you can as well go ahead with your conversation,' but Davids' leg stopped him from saying any more words from his mouth.

"You are back, we have been waiting for you, we can as well take supper now," voiced Ann.

The situation was awkward. The adults thought that the were caught in a bad situation, the children knew they had heard what their parents were talking about only they don't know who the main person was.

Ann walked out of the living room and left the trio standing as they faced each other.

Davids quickly excused herself as she climbed the stairs and Brian followed forth living the adult sitting gawking at them.

"Do you think they heard what we were talking about?" Asked Vicky with fear in her voice.

She knew her daughter was a very keen person and if she finds out that Brown is still alive and they haven't told their family she will be furious at them, "I don't think so, they just arrived and they barged inside the house like nothing was going on," said Andrew as he threw a side glance towards the stairs from where the kids had run to.

Vicky let out a sigh of relief and walked to the kitchen to help Ann prepare the table before the kids come down.

"Are you sure you won't be asking for some room to sleep tonight?" Asked Andrew jokingly as he walked towards Mike.

Mike groaned at that statement, he knew things were going to get worse at night, he better think of a way his little kitty was going to be pleased before things get out of hand.

"Tsk, tsk," said Andrew as he walked to the kitchen to gather some food for the guards outside.

All the meals are usually cooked inside the house, Mike makes sure that everyone is served equally and no one is left to starve, that's why Ann usually cooks for everyone around.

Vicky placed the table mats on the table arranging them neatly, Mike seeing her alone at the dining table he walked towards her with the hopes that she won't throw him away.

"I know I should have told you sooner baby, I just wanted to make sure you won't break down," said Mike as he hugged her from behind tightly.

Vicky stopped with the arrangements and tires around to look at her husband.

Drawing her hands on his muscular shoulders, she knew that Mike meant everything he had said. Brown was their best friend, though she couldn't recognize him because his face was manipulated.

"Baby, I understand your actions." She smiled and stopped at his neck, looking at the way he was swallowing so hard making his throat move up and down rhythmically gave her some goosebumps and this warm feeling in her pants.

"Don't beat yourself up, when he is ready you are going to allow me to see him, okay?"

Mike nodded and placed a slight kiss on her lips but Vicky being the wild cat, pulled his neck and deepened the kiss for a while before letting go.

"This is not done, in our chambers after this," she said as she gently pushed him back and escaped to the kitchen.

Mike smiled and settled himself at the head of the table as he waited for other members of the family to join him.

Today they had six seats. Ann had reconsidered joining them for the meal because Andrew insisted on it.

Davids was done with her quick shower and walked out of the washroom with a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. She found Brian seated on the head looking at his phone.

"You are bad about it, couldn't you make the situation less weird?" She asked as she picked a pair of sweatpants and wore it.

"Jesus, they looked shocked and they even think we didn't hear what they were saying," said Brian with a cheeky look.

"Who do you think they are talking about? It must be someone we all know to have Uncle Drew and Aunt Ann there," asked Davids.

Brian shook his head and looked at her, " what if we look for a spying microphone, we might know who the are talking about, I don't even have an idea," said Brian.

"You want them to kill us, you know your dad will detect that in seconds, remember the house is swiped before they get in, before we sleep in," reminded Davids.

After their little chat, they walked down to the dining from and found everyone seated except for them.

They hurried their steps and sat next to each other before holding hands for Grace.

Everyone was focused on their meals. Brian wanted to talk, but he didn't know what to talk about. She would have started a joke about his mother but she had to keep quiet and think first.

He didn't understand why their parents were hiding something from them. He didn't feel bad that they had to hide other things but the issue at hand was something that needed to be talked about.

Davids accidentally dropped a spoon on the floor and every eyeshot at him like that was taboo.

"Is everything okay?" Asked her father as he looked at her.

She noted her head and bent to pick it up but Mike eyes suddenly focused on her wrist. It was pinkish and has some arm mark on it. The base that she had gotten during the game also showed.

Brian looked at the way Mike was looking at Davids and quickly started a conversation about some things that he was not planning on.

"I am going back to New York City tomorrow," he blurted out making the gaze shift to his side and Davids hit herself on the table as she was standing from her position.

"Wait, what? Are you just saying that now?" Shouted Davids as he placed the spoon on the table.

She knew Brian would go to New York but she was not prepared that he would be leaving this soon.

"Darling, I thought you were here for a week?" Asked Vicky as she wiped her lips with a towel.

Brian was mowed confused, he could have said something else. He wanted to remove Mike's mind from the bruises that he had to see on Davids but instead, everyone was shocked by his announcement.

His dad looked at him with worry in his eyes. He had just seen him for a week and he hasn't even stayed for a while and now he wants to go. He thought that maybe this had something to do with meeting his mother and he swore to talk to him.

"You know we are mentoring some kids from some schools around and I wanted you to help with the project, I will be paying you very good money," said Mike.

Brian looked at him and smiled, " dad you don't need to pay you to know I will always work if it's something you have come with."

Davids had not moved her gaze from him and wanted answers as to why he was leaving this early.

Instead of Brian's reply, all she got was a pinch on her thigh and she let out a painful groan before slapping his hands.

After supper, Brian and Davids were left in charge of the utensils and the elders excused themselves to retire early.

Ann was now sleeping in Andrew's house that was beside the main house while Mike and Vicky quickly ran away.

Brian and Davids were left rolling their eyes as they watched the couples running.

Davids wondered if she will ever have a happily ever like her parents and now uncle Drew whom she never thought would have his happily ever after.

Brian on the other hand admired them, his dad who has come from far making sure that he gets everything, Mike, his second dad always made sure he gets nothing less. He wondered whether Nas wanted this, love family or anything like adopting a baby.

"Don't you think we should just go somewhere and leave the house to them, I mean, look at every one, two by two I bet we are the odd people here," said Dee as she wiped the plate that was rinsed.

Brain laughed at her, he knew that Davids has not yet moved out of the world to see how it like like," sweetheart, you don't want to. Paying bills is just something else, you will be paying bills and making sure you save enough to get you through another month."

Davids liked him and crossed her hands on her chest, "you think I don't know, I just don't have a job and once I am done with school I am raiding your house and you won't love it, trust me," they both laughed.

Brian had always wanted to have her around. Just to be with him because most of the time he feels lonely and when he is not modelling he is busy drawing but he can use her presence around the house for ore imagination.

"You know what, that will be a nice idea, why won't you come with Dee, it will begin teaching her some stuff," said Andrew.

Davids noded to that idea, she knew Brian wouldn't mind having her around but at the same time, she wondered if Daniella's parents are going to allow her to move away.
