144: MY SECURITY?

Brian didn't say anything, she was just picked my bag and walked with it to the car that he had come with. I wanted to ask her how everything went but I knew I will get all the tea during the family dinner, but from the looks of things, looks like someone deep-fried his mother without mercy.

I checked my phone to see if I can get any update from Daniella and how everything went after the police interruptions but there was nothing. 

I decided to call her but she was not picking any of my calls.

"Are you trying to call the girl whose ex you were punching a while ago?" Asked Brian in a mocking tone. 

I didn't need to answer him because she knew the answer already, I just texted her a quick message and placed the phone in my picket facing where we were going.

The ride was quiet, Brian decided to play some music but again turned it off, I could feel some tense air running inside the car and I wish someone could just talk to me so that we can clear things up. 

"Why were you acting so stupid or we're you that excited to be raped by Vin?" Asked Brian as he stepped on the breaks bringing us to a sudden halt.

What I just wanted. I wanted someone to about at me and drive some sense into my head, I deserved it. 

"I don't know what came over me Bro, I just felt like Vin was trying to get at me using Daniella and that sent me nuts," I said frustrated. 

I knew he would understand my action but the next word that was shot out of his mouth told me that he didn't enter rain my stupidity. 

"So, when someone gets at you, you also try to get at him, to an extent you want to lose some good friends because of a mere girl Bro? A girl who still lives in the same house as her ex, some girl who was intoxicated when I saw her. You are so stupid and pig-headed, you want to land in jail for another one week? I will gladly ask dad to do that! Next time you think you want to fight a person, think twice, drop thinking with your dick!" 

Jesus, I fear for his man if this is the person he wants to marry for the next of their lives, he would get a slap on the face when he tried to be a dick. 

Though, I know Brian meant well. What is Vin still doing in their house, the burial was long forgotten and he should be out now that he has found himself a girlfriend who he loves so much. 

Though I don't want to believe that there could be something happening between him and Dee If there was. Would have known. 

"Thank your two friends, they had to force me to lie to mum that I had to meet you and I in turn, informed the police and we had to pick your ass but still, you don't get it, you go ahead and say that you were releasing your frustration! Fuck you dude, you better make it up to them before I slap you and throw you under the bus!" He shouted before angrily starting the car and speeding us home.

"Wipe the bloodstain on your face and get another t_shirt, before you scare mum and dad at home!"

I hadn't even looked ok the mirror, I quickly picked the wipes from the car and wiped them out as I checked an extra t_shirt from my bag and I accidentally came across one tablet from Daniella's medicines.

I didn't want Brian to see if he might start some speculations about me getting involved in drugs which will make my parents throw me in jail without a second thought.

Though they know how they raised me, they feel like prison is the place where I wi be given the right punishment and I don't want to go there after being thrown inside with Brian for being jerks for almost a month without a visit.

"What did Daniella take!" Asked Brian startling me and I accidentally threw the pill but luckily inside my bag again. 

"She heard a minor surgery and she was given some meds to help her, but I think she accidentally overdosed on them making her feel that way."

I had to tell him the truth because if I say a lie and later things come turn upside down on my part. 

I thought he was going to give some insight from what I had told him but instead, he was in some deep thought about what I don't know. 

"Why take a sick person for a retreat? I thought if she had been operated on, she could have been laying in bed?" He asked with doubt that I was telling him a lie.

"I was also asking about that. When I tried to ask her what happened, she gave me a variety of answers. A different answer and explanation to Clara who also tried to get more information about the incident. Then do you think that just thirty minutes delay in taking meds would induce any effects?" I asked her. 

He shook his head in disapproval, "unless the operation is affecting her and not the tablets. What I don't approve of is her living with Vin under the same roof, that's unacceptable."

"I knew it, I also have that problem and the way he kissed Vin you would have thought that are still in love. She had this thirst in her that needed to be quenched and after kissing him, she had this excited look Of satisfaction in her eyes, can you imagine she asked me if she did it okay?" I explained to him.

He in turn gave me a shocking look as took the last turn into the main gate.

"She didn't?" She asked in surprise.

"Trust me, I felt like punching her though it's not allowed, how would she be excited about it?" 

Brian laughed at my reaction during the narration, I knew he would at some point understand me.

The gate was opened and he drove us inside the compound. Instead of getting outside the car, I had to explain to her the whole story.

"So I had to wait for my turn and give Vin and the while group a dare to pay for what they had done to me, imagine how excited they were to do the thing. He didn't even blunk, instead, he groaned in pleasure. This makes me think do you think he does this with Daniella and someone else?" I asked in a defeated voice.

Brian looked at me and sympathised with me, "oh no, baby, you are just overthinking about everything, if she loves you sje knows what to do and what not to do. Remember your walk with the blind faith." He assured me as he passed my back like a baby.

"But, there was this time when she told me that we agreed on a poly with Vin and we have been doing it for a while," 

"Davids, probably it's the brain effect working on her don't be quick to judge, you go sleep tomorrow trying talking with her maybe things will be better," what did I do to deserve him?

As much as he is a pain in the ass, he always knows how to make me feel better and happy. He hugged me and we exited the car.

I carried my bag and we walked inside the house but from a distance, I could hear our parents making some arguments about something. 

I held Brian back as we pressed our heads on the door to listen to what they were saying.

"What the fuck baby, you didn't even tell me about it!" Shouted my mother.

They were silent then my dad spoke up, "it was for your security sweetheart," 

My dad was trying to calm my mom but I knew what this would lead to, someone will be thrown out of the house if he doesn't do it nicely.

"My security, not when you hide the fact that he is alive and in a coma for Christ sake!" Shouted my mother. 

"Who are they talking about again?" I asked Brian who was also eyeing me with a shocked expression on hos face. 

He shook his head in dismay and surprise. Whoever it was they didn't want us to know about and that is why they were having this conversation without us involved. 

"Don't you think we should just pretend that we didn't hear any of this and urge in right now?" Asked Brian as he was stretching his hand to hold the door but I stopped him as I heard them go on with the conversation.

"Babe, we are using tubes to feed him, you can't even recognize him that is why I didn't want to drag you into this. He was your best friend also and I know your reaction when you see someone you once associated with being in their worst and I don't want that reaction again, I love you and when the time is right, I will allow you to go see him okay?" 

He is trying his best not to sleep outside, even if it means carrying her towards the bedroom he will just do that. 

"I am going in, you should listen to other people's conversation," warned Brain as he marched in with an excited face as if we didn't hear anything about a mysterious man.
