199: How She Died...
The Black Maria stopped and the inmates were surprised by the sudden halt. Davids was not, she knew this was her destination. The door was opened and the officer unlocked the chains that were around her leg before letting her out of the van.
"Where are you taking her?" Shouted Hugo when Davids was removed from the vehicle.
"To have some little fun, what's your problem boy?" Asked the female warden.
Hugo gritted his teeth when the female officer said that to him. He watched as Davids was pulled from the van and ushered into the gate that's when they realised that she had tricked them.
"Wait, I thought you were a boy? Why are they taking you to female prison?" Asked Hugo in surprise?
"Because I am a girl and not a fucking boy Hugo!" Shouted Davids as she was pulled through the gates.
Davids knew this may not be the last time he is seeing Hugo and she feared that the next time they see her she might be hurt because of lying to them. She didn't know what to do to prevent him from hurting her.
He was thrown into her cell and a mop followed her. She was excited because she had wanted to clean her room. The fear of sleeping in this place for the rest of her years freaked her out because that was not in her plans. All she had thought, was to move to college, have fun during her stay on campus and make a name for herself.
Looking at herself now, mopping a room full of pooh on the floor, she couldn't believe that this was the same girl she had known her whole life.
All her dreams were draining like the pooh that she was washing in the toilet with water.
She decided to make her room clean, though the stinking smell did not disappear because it dominated the area making it hard to breathe. She hoped that she won't be finding it filled with pooh the next time she from the court.
She looked around the cell and there was nothing that had been touched, everything was in place, and she didn't get worried about where she was going to sleep. All she was excited about was the fact that her floor was clean and he had a nice environment to stay in, even though the room we still stinking.
She started knocking on the other side hoping that the lady who was there yesterday will listen and begin a conversation.
"Hello, you there?" Asked Davids as she knocked on the wall twice.
She didn't get an answer after knocking and calling for some time. she gave up and decided to look around the room hoping to get something to do, but there was nothing she could do, it's a prison they can't get books or anything.
She didn't want to ask for help from the wardens because the last time she asked them if she could store her food and take it late, she almost lost her eyes.
She decided to keep to herself, but she felt like time was not moving and tried to sleep ate couldn't, she just remained staring at the wall and sometimes looking at the ceilings.
She was in deep thoughts when she felt a presence inside her room, it was already evening and the area was so dark, she didn't receive any food today, but she didn't mind. Andrew had sneaked some snacks before the court and she didn't mind keeping it that way.
She tried to stand up but a hand forced itself on her neck. She was struggling to remove the hand from her neck but she couldn't, screaming to make the guard away from the intruder, her chords couldn't even move.
She couldn't see who the person was, what she felt were the strong arms that were digging up on her neck.
She felt the air, getting blocked from moving up and down her body, she struggled, throwing her feet up and down until her body gave up and she let it go.
The person who was holding her neck, removed the hand after she felt that Davids was not breathing, "sleep well, sweetheart."
Davids had lured her and made the person think she was dead after sometimes she sprang from her bed and placed the person down.
The lady was caught off guard and fell on the floor, with Davids on top of her. She removed the mask from her face and looked at her. She couldn't quite figure out who she was.
"Who sent you?" Asked Davids as she did to her what she just did to Davids.
The lady was surprised that Davids was too strong, and her head felt light making her strength drained.
She punched her face twice and tore her cheekbone, "just tell me who sent you!"
The lady was just looking at her, not saying anything, instead, she laughed at her, "it's either you kill me or I kill you, so chose one. Because if you do not strengthen that hand around my neck, you are done, sweetheart."
This angered Davids and she strengthen the hold of her neck and felt like she was going to pull one of the beings from her throat.
'This is not you, this is not who you are Davids, you are not a killer. She is trying to get under your skin to make sure you kill her and he jailed, just let her go,' the voice inside her head was shouting at her.
But the laugh from the girl in front of her was not slowing down. She was loud and it made Davids angrier.
She wanted to dig her hands deeper into her throat but she let go of her neck and the last was left on the floor laughing.
She couldn't understand how she came inside the room yet the guards are the only people who have the keys to the solitary cell.
She didn't know her, she knew someone had sent her to fish her off but she wna6ed a name, she didn't want to speculate who sent her.
The lady didn't say anything instead she went on laughing while on the floor. Davids was bothered by her behaviour and she started banging on the metal door.
"Open the door, please open the door!" She shouted.
No one was moving or coming to her rescue, yet the girl on the floor couldn't stop laughing. David's thought she had taken molly, the happy pills and she was maybe hallucinating or something. She tried walking her up but she was just laughing without moving.
"Hey, please, I know you are listening to me, can you help me?" She knocked over the wall for the other lady to help her but there was no sound.
She didn't have any option but to work on this herself. She started shaking her huge masculine body but sue was not moving.
She carried her and placed the lady on her bed. The lady grabbed her hand and Davids became alarmed. Sue looked at her eyes which were popping out.
"Plead guilty, if you want to save your family!" Said the lady.
"Who said?" Asked Davids as she shook her body.
The lady didn't say another word, instead, her eyes popped out like the veins from her orbs darkens because there was no blood flow in her body.
Her hand dangled from her chest to the side of the bed.
"Please, don't do this to me, I don't want to be charged for murder," cried Davids as she shook the girl.
She cried on her body, trying to wake her up but she was not waking up.
Sue went to bang the door again, calling the warden who ironically rushed this time around and they removed the girl from her room.
"How did she get inside here? Asked the warden.
Davids was confused and didn't even hear the question she was being asked.
She received a beating from the button and she looked at the warden who had just git her back, " I was calling you and you were not listening to me! I asked for help and right now you are rushing here asking me how sue walked into here? I also don't know because you are the only person who has the keys, why are you asking me?"
The warden wanted to hit Davids again with the button, but Davids held it mid_air and threw it away, "maybe you might want to answer how she died inside a solitary cell?"
The warden knew that was going to be a very hard answer to give the jury.
She knew the money she was given to allow her to walk inside the cell was neither enough nor worth it.
She bought some happy pills for the inmate and also convince her to go onside Davids' cell to kill her.
Up to now, she is still surprised how she didn't get to kill Davids, instead, she died from the happy pills and Davids is the one who called it out.
She walked from the cell and closed the door, leaving Davids to herself.
