198: Daniella, Please!
Davids couldn't believe what she was seeing, everything else was manipulated yet the videos were convincing. The cameras showed the time and by eleven Davids was not at the school compound. There were only two cameras that they were focusing on, the storeroom and the gate cameras.
It was not until one at night when Davids was seen entering the school compound with dirty stained clothes. A second look and people were shocked when all they saw was red. The blood was dripping from her clothes and the watchman was not even around.
She was seen opening the gate using a spare key she had and walking in stealthily like a robber looking around to see if someone was looking at her. When she didn't see anyone who could recognize her, She walked into the compound and the cameras showed that she was walking toward the school rooms.
When the second Camera was shown, it was Davids again, going inside the storeroom and after some time, she could be seen walking out in different clothes.
These were the clothes that got lost during the Music_Drama day. All the audience gasped as they watched her walk back into the gate and knocked on it as if she didn't walk in just a second ago.
At this point is when the guard opened the door for her. He was rubbing his eyes, and it looked like he had been sleeping on the job. He let her in, and they talked. They didn't seem to be reaching an agreement, so Davids removed a ten-dollar for her picket and gave it to him.
The guard went back into the security room and came back with a dangling key and handed her. She was seen again walking to the store until the following day at ten in the morning. The schools were closed so there were students in school.
The following morning can then be seen walking to the gate and talking to the guard, but this is a different guard, they smile and she walks away.
"My honour, that is the video from both the 5th and the 6th, and you have seen what transpired. Davids was not around till one on 5th and the guard was sleeping when she walked in. I can understand the guard was asleep, in that when she was worked up, he thought it was eleven and the first time Davids walks through those gates. Before I play day seven and bits of day six, I just want to ask, how did she get the school keys? Did she know someone with whom they were in the deal together or she could have the key and used it? Was this her plan all along when they arrived in The Savannah states and she wanted to escape with it? That's not for me to answer, let's focus on the second video."
He turned around to go switch the second video and felt a punch on his face, "that's not me in that video, I have a tattoo yes but that's not me!"
Davids was fed up with the drama that was going on in the court, she couldn't believe someone is trying to manipulate the evidence so that they can see her as a bad person.
Mr Chen didn't bother to stand up, that's all he wanted to see and be done with the case. All he wanted was money and to run away from all this drama of being the perfect lawyer.
Everyone from the court closed their eyes as they saw the violent Davids. She has used all her power and transferred her anger to Mr Gali. He broke his nose and his two front teeth were gone.
Davids did not stop until the security guards came to remove her on top of Mr Gali.
"That's not me, I didn't do that, I didn't even touch Daniella! Daniella, please tell them the truth, I didn't do that, tell them, we were taking a break from our relationship and this is not what happened," cried Davids as sue was being pulled from the lawyer.
Daniella was just looking at her, with no remorse, she was not even giving her sympathy all she was going is look at what she was doing.
"I didn't do it! I didn't do it! Trust me!" Shouted Davids her echoes were heard even at the back of the court.
"That's the end of today's session, until next week!" Shouted the judge and everyone was back to murmuring.
Daniella was wheeled outside the court and they posed for the camera.
"Mrs Clanks, what is the condition of your daughter?" Asked one journalist.
"My baby is not fine, but she decided to come here today to look at the person who pretended to be her girlfriend and took advantage of her. I know she will be okay by the time the court resumes and she will be able to testify against that horrible satan! I will make sure she rots in jail!" Shouted Amanda as she looked at the camera.
"Can we speak to her?"
Amanda looked at Daniella and she declined to speak to the journalist, they wished her quick recovery before letting them go. But that was not the end, they were still interested to take more interviews and pose for more pictures before being escorted to her vehicles.
Back in the court, Vicky had lost it, she was giving up and that is the song she kept singing to her husband.
"I don't think this wi ever end baby," said Vicky as Mike handed her water.
Mike on the other end was not handling himself well, he was shedding tears and legit g them fall on Vicky's hair, he didn't want Vicky to know that he is also giving up.
He has seen the videos but due to the high hatred that surrounds this town, there is no way he was going to make sure he has the original videos and show the that their daughter was innocent.
They couldn't believe that people were trying, by all means, to make sure they fell on their faces.
"It will baby, let's give it time," said Mike though he knew there was no hope in his words.
Andrew stood by Davids who was still crying and sobbing. He knew how she felt even though he has never been through this. He had watched Davids since she was born, she choose her name and grew in front of his eyes. She is ill-tempered but she made sure that the situation she finds herself in is not affecting her. He didn't know how to help her, she has been a great helper when it comes to some things but now, she doesn't know how to help her out of her situation.
"I just don't know, I am giving up, I agree, I am guilty and I am giving up on it? It seems they have decided to manipulate everything to make me look like a bad person in everything," she cried.
"Look here boy, you don't need to give up, that was only meant to break you, and you've caved in to their threats. The jury now feels you are the bad person here and they will make sure it remains like that to the final testimony and do all verdict. Please be strong because your parents Are already giving up Davids," begged Andrew as he rubbed her shoulders.
"What am I trying Uncle, everything is going down the drain and they have everything to say I did it, I will be happy if my parents just leave it and I don't even care anymore about it, maybe being in jail is the best option." Said Davids without looking at his uncle.
Vicky and Mike, were at the door when they heard Davids words, they couldn't believe their daughter was giving up, they were also giving up and their daughter too was not even fighting it anymore.
"Sweetheart," called Vicky.
"Mum," Davids stood up and walked to her mum, hugging her.
"I am sorry mama, this is the best thing to do, I just want it to end, so you two should go back to your normal life," said Davids.
Mike was not taking it, he excused himself and went to the adjoining washroom.
He preferred to cry in here, where nobody is going to see him.
"I wish we could have done things differently, I wish I had told you about it. Look at what has happened now, I kept it a secret and now it had happened. I know she didn't do it, she did nothing bad, why would someone want to make her pay for something she didn't do wrong?"
What he didn't know, someone was inside the bathroom taking a video of what he was doing and posting it on social media.
After some two minutes, Vicky jumped into the toilet to find him holding his head.
"Baby, please don't cry, don't cry okay? " said Vicky as she higher him. She knew they were all going through tough times but she was not going to let him act normal, he let him cry on her lap as she rocked him.
The officers hastily picked Davids up even before saying goodbye and she was ushered into the black Maria before it sped off.
Inside the Van, other inmates were had come for their hearing, all of them were male. Though he didn't fear they will attack her because she looked all boyish, she knew they might start asking her some questions.
She kept to herself but one of the guys with tattoos all around looked at her and fell in as he studied her, Davids could feel his smelly breath on his neck and she hated it.
"I know you from somewhere," said the man as he kept glaring at her up and down.
"Maybe one of the dudes, you fucked during the competition, I bet you've even lost count," said the other inmate.
Davids didn't want to look at him, the only competition they ever went to was the skating black market competition where they bet on their girl, and from the deep voice of the person speaking, this was one Hugo she had escaped from!
'Fuck!' She swore inwardly as sue but her tongue. If she thought she had nothing to worry about, probably she would rethink it.
"No, I don't think, because the ones that passed through my rigid stick knows how it feels like and they fear it, this one doesn't," said Hugo as he lifted Davids's chin to look at her face.
Davids didn't know whether to say hi or just pretend that she hasn't seen him in this vehicle.
Looking into his face, Hugo couldn't remember where sue has seen Davids from. Because he has seen a lot of people in his life recognize her. The more she kept looking into her eyes, the more he had some memories.
"No, it can't be you? What will a nice kid like you be doing inside these uniforms?" Asked Higo as he looked at the I infinity tattoo beside her ears.
"I thought you couldn't recognize me, how are you dude, how is the valley?" Asked Davids faking a happy face.
"Ahaa, I know you, with your friends and girlfriend, but you escaped before I could finish what we started," grinned Hugo and Davids was worried that things might go sideways.
"Why dont we leave that for the later dude, maybe in the cell, I won't mind giving you what you want?" Said Davids.
They all believed she was a boy. Hugo nodded, he understood it will be hard to grab her from this place and the guards are all around them.
