Chapter 129

          "What are you doing with your phone this early? You should sleep some more." Antonio said to the woman on the bed only to see streaks of tears falling from her eyes. She shouldn't be getting so much hate, this is unfair she did nothing wrong. It isn't her fault Antonio choose her, what was she meant to do in that situation?

         She had no idea on substitutes do, it was her first time doing it and she didn't know how to control him nor could she control her emotions. It happened, it just happened, Antonio was all over her, he didn't give her space, and Lilo staying away that long didn't help matters.

        Antonio snatched the phone from her before switching it off. It's his fault she's like this now, he would have warned her not to post anything or go online especially after hearing the information from his guard. He pulled her closer to himself wrapping his arms around her, letting her sob on his chest.

       He could feel his moiety and wet his chest area hard gotten, Bella is such a fragile woman. "It's just a couple of words it shouldn't hurt you this much. It's not your fault it's mine, I should be blamed for it." But then again, she was pregnant. Pregnancy is one of the most weakest and emotional times for every woman, they just get too emotional for everything. 

       He patted her back, "Yes it's your fault but mine too, maybe I never should have accepted that job, maybe it would be better if... If..." "Don't say anything, I'll clear that news of you in no time." He wiped her tears with her thumb. "It's not your fault, plus you're a miracle to me. Thank you for accepting the job." He went on to say, "What people say about us doesn't matter right now. The only thing that matters is us. The little family we have to build together." 

        She felt touched by his words, he just knew how to calm her down in the midst of crises. He's the best thing in her life right now. She shouldn't be bordered about what mere fans of Lilo had to say about her. They barely know what's going on, they only judge people according to what their favorite had said about them. She should focus more on her family and enjoy this little vacation. She wouldn't let anything anybody has to say disturb her ever again even if it was not easy.

         After all, they all are speaking the truth, she nothing more than a home wrecker, she stole Antonio away from Lilo. She's done a disgusting thing, it would be wrong if she's praised for her actions. She's meant to be scolded for it.

        Antonio helped her up and took her into the bathroom before handing her phone to his guards to clear all of the comments before logging her out of Facebook. "Clear the news from the internet over there." He ordered his assistance at the other end of the call. "I'm afraid that would take a while, sir, the news is in her favor and the Stans are backing it up with more proves." She said.

        "The entire city is on fire and different hashtags are being displayed online, at this point we would have to wait for a week before finally erasing anything." She added. "That's too far, my wife might be tempted to log into her page again." He moved his fingers into his hair thinking of the next possible way out. If things continue like this, it might affect his business, but that's not an issue since he has other plans in mind.

        "I'm afraid you have to address this quickly sir, we need damage control and quick." She added. Antonio didn't care if his name was being dragged online, that would only make him known and give him more money than he already has but his wife is his major priority. The only way out of this is to turn this into a major fan war, that way important people will not take the news seriously again.

       "Hire top influencers to go against them, great another scandal to get their minds off me and my family." He said. "Alright, we'll do just that sir, the news will be down in three days." She promised. "Alright." He switched off his phone and went ahead to bathe with his wife. He would do anything to keep her safe.

        "Where have you been?" She asked the man who just stepped in only for him to steal a kiss again. Bella blushed, he loved stealing kisses a lot. "I had to make a few calls that's all." He said for her to nod. She knew what the calls were for, but she has decided not to let it get to her. She would enjoy this vacation with her family.

       "I heard from your friend your family is here, I would love to meet them." He chimed in, finding this time the best time to bring it up. Since she has refused to say a thing to him, it is best he forces her to speak up, to let him know about herself.

         He could see the smile on her face fall at his words, she was hurt and surprised at the same time. How did he know about it? She didn't want him to know. "I... I don't want to see them." She blurted out. "When were you willing to tell me?" 

      "Probably when I've found my real parents." She said plainly. "I love your honesty." He picked up a soft back syrup and used it on her back, his movement was in circles replacing her stress with something else. She could feel her legs already turning weak thinking of their actions the previous night. 

       He was going to meet her family anyways, while they're here together he would meet them in his time.  There's no way he'd be married to her and not know her parents. He wanted to see the people that raised this beautiful simple woman, a woman who was just like him. He helped her bathe before heading for breakfast.

         Bella decided to explore the woods around them to get her mind off certain things, she just didn't want to think about what she had seen. She's been a fan before, it's crazy what fans do to celebrities. She was hurt but eager at the same time to see more things said about her, there may be one good comment among the comments, right?

         She let out a sigh staring noticing a river ahead. Once poor you'd aspire to be rich to be wealthy, but once you're wealthy what else? She seems to have a perfect life, but her perfection came with a lot of troubles. She still had Antonio's mother, Lucy to deal with, she haven't even met his father since that night at the hotel where she was extremely rude.

         Maybe she would have said something if she knew she'd be in Lilo's position now. 

        Moving close to the river, she stared at the water calmly wondering what would happen when they go back home. Will she be able to tolerate the glares from people? All of his family membership, and relations, can she withstand their confrontation? She didn't just lie and deceive Antonio, but his entire family. It might be easy for him to forgive her, but will his family forgive her?

         She picked a stone and threw it into the river to see a few fishes swim away from that area. There was just a lot on her mind at the moment, her thoughts were suffocating her with each passing second. Should she leave Antonio for good? How come she never thought of the aftermath of her actions?

       Lilo threw her purse to the floor stepping into her room, she cared less if her phone and valuable items fell to the floor. Everything was turning to her favor just the previous day, she was getting her glory back, and people were bashing Antonio and his wife so what's going on? Why were everything and everyone going against her now?

        She knew Antonio was behind this, she knew this is his doing, well if he think he's a good player, she'd let him know two can play the game. She held her hair firmly screaming her lungs out, they had to pay for everything they did to her, she has to ruin them in any way she can.

          "Baby, What's going on? Are you okay? Vivian rushed into her daughter's room when she heard her screams, she only sighed when she noticed she was only upset about something. She's seen the news again, different other hot gist and topics about celebrities were surfacing the net diverting people's attention from them.

          Vivian had been furious before, she tried paying social media gurus and influencers to speak about them but it seems they were all under Antonio's paycheck. No one wants to listen to them, they rather say there's nothing wrong with Antonio getting married to another woman than collect money from them. Stating that Lilo had a terrible attitude and that's why no man wants her was so absurd.

        "How do I make them pay mother." Lilo cried into her mother's arms.
