CHAPTER 76: NEW CEO.

"What you are not going to answer him, ignore it" she said as makes some facial expressions that only the two of them could understand. But the lawyer was determined to answer the question.

"It's only right if we clear their queries regarding this. Remember you are going to work with them from now onwards. Will you want to have strained relationship with your employees?" The lawyer asked him.

 'He is right, that's is the right thing to do but, what if he contract himself. I don't want to be got, you fool think' she thought. Mrs Wechuli wanted to stop him but the lawyer spoke before she could open her mouth.

"I was informed by him. He pointed to Mr Mukhongo. Mrs Wechuli almost peed on herself, he didn't know what they wi do if their plan failed.

"Yes l informed him, since you never listened to me before. I wanted you to learn in the importance of listening to other people, listening on what they have to say."

Mrs Wechuli exhaled deeply, she didn't know that she have been holding her breathe for that long.

"If this is the case l am pulling out my investment"Mr Mzee said.

"Me too, l am pulling out my shares"

"Anybody else, if you are selling them l am ready to buy, we can arrange about that. Please do so before l take over the position probably tomorrow. And don't regret when you see us thriving, l won't allow anyone if you to reinvest in again."

"Ooh you wish"Mr Mzee smirked.

"Mr Mzee,please don't do that, we can talk about this, you have been with my brother from the start you can't pull out your shares now not just yet please, he pleaded. My brother will turn in his grave if ...

"Stop spouting out nonsense, your brother is gone and since you want to destroy his legacy l won't be part of it young man" 

"Let him go, he is not that important, let him give us space now, he is just an old man" Mrs Wechuli yelled from behind.

What Mrs Wechuli didn't know is that Mr Mzee was very influencial when it comes to stock exchange and investment. Mr Mukhongo knows that if he pulls out his shares and investment that will be the downfall of Luhyahood dream company. He was having 45 percentage of the shares. If he pulls out the company will be in a crisis.

Knowing him, Mr Mzee was a man of his words. When he says something that will be what he does the following minute.

Apart from Mr Mwangi and Mr Mzee no one else dared to pull out their shares or investment. So they were left seated as the two men walked outside the board room displeased.

"If you are here and you want to leave like them please do so the door is open" Mr Mukhongo said opening the board room door wide.

"Okay if there is none let's welcome our new CEO with a hand of claps"

"Pap,pap, pap."

The remaining board members clapped."Thank you so much, thank you for choosing to stay, l will make sure you won't regret your decision." She stood up went to stand at the seat of the CEO. The one Mr Mukhongo was seating at.

"And that calls for a celebration, I'm throwing a party for you people" she said. Then what followed was their claps and hululation. Mr Mukhongo found the perfect time to jump and pump a fist in the air to show triumph.

The noise attracted the attention of other employees and the supporting staffs as they run towards the board room to see what was going on.

"Welcome,welcome, come in, our new CEO is throwing a party for us" they were so happy as they joined them in clapping and hululation. Mrs Wechuli didn't know that in the evening she will be greatly disappointed with the outcome.

After leaving the company she went and bought to candles and the flowers. She went to cemetery bro visit her dad.

She swept the dry leaves that had fallen on his grave. She placed the flower where his name was written,lit the two candles and placed them at each side of the flower. She sat at the edge of the grave and looked and the candles melting. She was full of different thoughts emotions and anger all mixed up. She didn't know where to start.

"It have been months once you decided to leave me dad, in the hands of the monsters.Hope you are resting in peace, but dad are you happy now? Are you happy that you left your company in the hands of a distant relative just an in-laws. I wish l you had told that l had no share in that business dad. By now l would have established myself." She wiped away her tears.

"Thank you dad, atleast you left other inheritance for me, l was happy and still happy. Hope you are happy too that Mrs Wechuli will continue expanding your company more than l. Continue Resting Well,she left the cemetery with a heavy heart. She didn't know where to go next. She stood near the highway thinking of where to go. If she goes south she will be going back home to Mish. If she goes north she will be going to Paul's company. If she croses the highway and go south East she will be going back home to her matrimonial home. She contemplated for a long time before deciding to go north. She wanted someone to talk to, Her husband was the right candidate.

Back the the cemetery,"She was here mehn, l wish l had come earlier, Ivana was here.l had promised myself that l will find the perfect time to tell her. I don't know if she will believe me" He said to Mike his other friend that he had asked to accompany him.
