CHAPTER 114:FREEMAN SOON.

"Woow eighteen years? You must be hardworking person Milka"

"Not really sir the situation forced me to"

"Which situation? And please drop that sir thing."Mike asked wanting to know more about her.

"Forget it, l don't like talking about it"

Mike nodded and continued picking the mangoes the buscket was almost full.

"Milka, when you came to work here, did you find Ivana's mother? Or any siblings."

"Ivana's mother died when she was giving birth to her. She doesn't have a brother or sister she is just alone. Why do you ask?"

"Nothing really, it's just that you have walked here for long time so l thought you found her mother here. I think we have picked enough fruits now"

"Yes, we are deep in stories l forgot that l was to pick a few fruits"

'How can l tell her that actually Ivana have a brother, a big brother. But l think l wi have to shut my mouth as promised' mike thought as they walked outside the ochard.

"What are you doing here Paul, l stopped being your wife the day you lied to me that you are going for business conference in Eldoret."

"What do you mean l lied to you?" Paul asked perplexed.

"You are still denying it right,you think l don't know you went back to your girlfriend. When my father was on his dead bed fighting for his life. The time l needed you the most is the time you left me and eventually cheated on me"

Paul face turned to a sullen one as experation was written all over his face. Tiny particles of sweat were visible on his long chiselled handsome face. He was even embarassed to look at her straight in the eyes.

"I don't know who told you those lies but, here is my truth. I yet for a business conference, after that l pumbed into her and that's ....

"I am not born yesterday Paul, you pumb into somebody them you take selfies together afterwards you end up posting her picture on your Instagram page"

"What? Which instagram page are you talking about l never posted her"

Since he rarely visits his social media pages, he didn't know what was going on there. His secretary was the one who was managing his social media handles.

After Slyvia posted her picture on his wall, he modified some setting where no one can delete them unless she does it herself. The secretary didn't ask his boss about it, he thought the boss might have posted it himself. 

The day he went with Ivana in the office, his secretary wanted to ask him but restrained. Knowing how his boss can be, he didn't want to mendle in his affairs. So Paul never knew that Slyvia hast posted herself on his wall and Ivana had seen those pictures. He was truly doomed.

"Anyway forget about it l don't care, since you had the audacity to bring her to our matrimonial page, when l was away it shows how much you despise me Paul."

"Hey wifey don't say like that atleast hear me out, l didn't....slap ,slap.

Paul didn't get to finish what he was saying as Ivana's anger surged in her heart and slapped him on both cheeks. He was got off guard as he didn't see that slap coming.

Paul placed his paul on one of his check as he absorbed the excruciating pain. Tears were trickling to fall as he blinked several times to prevent th from falling down his cheeks.

"I am tired of your lies Paul, so please do me a favour and tomorrow l will do you a favour" Ivana said angrily.

"Which favour Wifey , l will do it as long as you find a place in your heart to forgive me" Paul said with hope filled in his heart.

"Leave my house and tomorrow expect divorce papers either in your home or at work. Choose where you want them delivered"

He was not expecting that as he fell into a daze looking at her. He walked towards her then took her hands in his palm then kneeled down.

"Ivana please l will do anything you want but not divorce please. I love you Ivana,...l ..l know you won't believe me but l love you with my whole heart. I agree l heart you badly, and...l don't..l don't deserve your forgiveness but please don't divorce me wifey. You are my life ..you are the one l love..l don't know what got in me...."

"Enough with your lies Paul, if you truly love me as you said you wouldn't look at any lady but me.If you wanted sex that badly you would have told me. I told you what the village cleanser said on the text but you didn't reply. It was advantageous to you to bed another woman. The worst thing is that in our mantrimonial bed, the bed you and l consumated our marriage that was disrespect"

Ivana yanked away her hand from his palm then pushed him away with her leg. She left him on the follow and stood far away from him.

"Ivana what l want is please hear me out I..

"I have no time for that jerk.. ..a wise man once said.. Your healthiest and richest relationships will begin when you master your own self-care. When you stop compromising your own well being to keep people in your life. Until then everything else is transitory and tentative because the foundation is yet to be laid and nothing of weight can be built on instability."

Paul stood up and looked at her then said,"and what do you mean by that statement wifey?"

"This time l am choosing myself, as l said before expect the divorce papers any day from now" then she started climbing the stairs to her room.

Before Paul could say anything to her, she turned to him then smiled before saying. "One thing Paul, take those gift to her, the flowers, teddy and wherever. Tell her soon you will be a few man and be together"

"Hey wifey, you can't do this please" Paul followed her behind but she entered her bedroom slammed the door on his face and locked it from inside. 

Paul pleaded from outside for almost thirty minutes but she didn't open up. He gave up and left with tears in his eyes. He wanted to give himself hard slaps for trusting slyvia.
