CHAPTER 186:PROMISE.

After two days Ivana was allowed to go home under strict instructions from Doctor Masika.

"Just know that I am letting you go home not that because you are supposed to, but because I want to test you. I want to know how much you care about yourself and love your body. If the same things happens Ma'am Ivana I won't hesitate to put you to bed rest in the hospital." Dr Masika said.

"Okay doctor I will be careful, I will make sure the next time I step here is when I will be in labour pain." She said with a smile.

Doctor Masika gave her vitamins supplement and other energy supplement that will help her throughout the remaining months.

Mish, Milka and Charo were waiting for her at the reception desk.

"Woow at long last you will be in the mansion again. We have missed you." Milka said as she holds her hand.

"I have only been away for two days, what are you talking about?"Ivana asked.

"You only know how important something is when it's not near you." Mish said helping Milka answer her.

"Welcome home ma'am Ivana." Charo said as he held the car door for her.

"Thank you guys for the love you have shown me. I do appreciate dear ones." Ivana said as she buckled up the seatbelt.

When they reached home Rhoda had organized a small party for Ivana. So they were in the sitting room waiting for her. Charo pulled over at the parking lot and alighted to open the door for Ivana. Milka had opened it for Mish. Ivana mouthed a thank you to Charo then walked to the house. When she opened the door, Rhoda Stacy,Gloria and Nekesa shouted at once," Welcome home Ma'am Ivana."

"Oh my God who planned all this surprise?" She asked as she placed her hand on the chest.

"It was all Stacy's, Nekesa's and Gloria's idea, infact they helped me bake a cake?" Rhoda said excitedly.

"Sweet,Thank you so much girls."Ivana said.

They gave her the nice and cut the cake, she is not a fan of cakes but she had to taste a little piece to show that she appreciates their efforts.

Ivana checked the witten interview of the girls, despite the fact that her doctor had adviced that she rests. She wanted to finish the order that Lily, the governor's daughter had sealed with her. Now that her wedding was in two weeks time she didn't want to disappoint her.

They all performed well, so Ivana called them in the house porch and gave them the instructions about the work they were supposed to do.

"I have marked your interview and I see that you are not that bad. So I am hiring you now and the work starts now." Ivana said.

"Thank you so much ma'am Ivana." They all responded at the same time with their hands clasped.

"So here is the designs I want you to sew, decide among you three who is comfortable with preparing the evening gown. And girls I really want minimal mistakes in this." Ivana said as she handed them the drawing/sketching book.

"Ma'am Ivana I am comfortable with the evening gown." Gloria said.

"Are you sure? Then you will be helping Milka with that. Then Nekesa and Stacy you will be responsible for the bride's maid dresses. I am going to supervise you myself, where you don't understand feel free to ask." Ivana said.

Mish came in the house porch and she was surprised to find Ivana already at work despite the fact that she was just fr the hospital some hours ago.

"Hey Ivana you need to rest, I mean seriously you need adequate rest. Remember what doctor Masika told you, unless you want to go live in the hospital." Mish groused.

"I know Mish, but there is nothing I am doing, perhaps you no very well that I hate sleeping or just lazing around." Ivana replied.

"We are talking about your health and the health of your baby Ivana. Hello! I don't care if you hate sleeping, you need to rest and relax. Just look at you now, you are just from the hospital, then after and minute you are here stressing yourself again."Mish said.

"I know you are concerned Mish and the rest of the family, but I already strike a deal with Lily. So I promise after I am done with these I won't take any order until I deliver. " Ivana  replied.

"I hope you won't break your promise and I will hold you responsible for your words." Mish replied her.

"So kindly do me a favour bring me one of the dining chair, I think they will be comfortable compared to these ones." Ivana said.

"You want to sew too?"

"No I am just going to supervise them. I want to be done with these as soon as possible."Ivana said "And Kindly tell Milka to leave the kitchen to Rhoda. I want her here now." 

Mish existed to tell Milka that she is needed and also to bring her a chair.

Mish came in carrying the chair accompanied with Milka.

"Thank you",she said as she sat on in. "Milka you will be seeing the gown together with Gloria." Ivana said.

Milka looked at Gloria then back to Ivana like someone who was having doubts. Ivana noticed her facial expressions and gestures so she asked Milka.

"Are you having doubts, I know it sounds strange to you but Milka that gown is complicated so one person cannot perfect it. Remember their is a mermaid tail and what's some beads to be embroidered on it. So one can deal with the embroidery and the tail while the other deal with the full gown without tail. You can decide between yourself." Ivana said.

"You actually answered my thought ma'am I will go with the gown without the tail. Then I guess Gloria will do the embroidery."Milka said then she walked to her sewing machine and sat down.
