CHAPTER 227: CHRISTENING AND DEDICATION.

After a month, Ivana had already gained some strength that she used in labour. She had gained a little bit of baby fats, she had healed. She had promised herself to take the babies for both christening and dedication after a month. So one month and few weeks have elapsed, she was ready to take her babies for dedication and christening.

She paid a visit to the priest of her local church that was to hold that function the next day. She wanted to enquire from the priest everything that concerned Paul. She didn't want to be questioned about the father of his children not being present on the actual day.

"Father (Priest, we normally refer to him as father) thank you so much for accepting to meet with me today. Actually I want to have baby christening tomorrow as agreed earlier. But I have a little problem," she said.

"What is it my child?," The priest asked politely.

"The dad tommy kids is not yet I'm the country, will it be possible for me to dedicate and christen my babies without his presence?" Ivana asked worriedly.

"Have you talked to him, it's still fine as long as he was willing to come but the distance made him not to. As long as the heart of their mother is ready for dedication and christening," the priest replied.

"Thank you father, and if I must enquire what is the requirements of the christening and the dedication?" Ivana asked.

"Just as usual two pure white dove and white candles since they are twins. They should be dressed in similar dresses tomorrow and the godfather or godmother should be present. That is all my child," the priest explained.

"Thank you so much father, I will be in my way now," Ivana said as she stood up ready to leave.

"God bless you my child," the priest said with a sign of the cross.

Her babies now are one month and some weeks old. Although they had the difference in weeks because one is adapted and he was a week older. Ivana decided to use the age according to the day she gave birth.

She had left the babies in the care of Milka who is good with kids. She was the one responsible for washing them, washing their clothes. Feeding them baby formula if they are not satisfied with breastfeeding.

Something that surprised Milka and Mish was that, Ivana decided to breast feed the child she had adapted. According to her Mulongo had just replaced her baby that died so their was no need of her not breastfeeding him.

The one she adapted was Jerry Mulongo while the one she gave birth to was Jeff Mukhwana. Something fun was that Jeff seemed to be talkative in future because he is always making baby sounds while Jerry will be the silent one as most of the times she sleeps alot.

She walked outside the church and entered her own car as she drove away. She had taken her Maybach model of the car from the mansion. She didn't want to tire Charo everytime she want to go somewhere. Now that she have the kids she will be taking every month to clinic. She had missed driving herself around because her father used to treat her as a princess because she had her personal driver.

Since from the church to her rented apartment she had to pass the mansion first a because that was the only route. So when she arrived at the gate of the mansion she had some cravings of ripe mangoes. She wanted to drive in the compound without alighting from the vehicle. Unfortunately the gate was locked and couldn't sense her car. It was not automatic and manual gate.

The gate opens on its own when it senses that the vehicle coming in is owned by someone who stays in the mansion. It have to be used regularly for it to sense. So she had to alight and open the gate herself, she didn't want to alert her that she have visited them by hooting the car.

So she peeped inside, checking if the gate man was around. Instead of spotting the gate man she ended up spotting her mother in law. She was seating at the house porch probably waiting for her. She didn't waste a minute as she run back to her Maybach and drove away very fast as she sighed a relief.

Immediately Ivana left in her car, Mrs Wechuli sensed that someone had parked the car at the gate. So she send the gardener to go and check.

"I have heard a sound of the car being pulled over at the gate, go and check it might be my daughter in law coming back," she instructed.

The gardener didn't waste anytime as he run to the gate and opened she checked both sides of the road but there was no one. So he closed the gate and walked back to Mrs Wechuli to report.

"Ma'am there was no one, maybe a car just passed. You know this place are for the wealth people only," he said jokingly.

"Are you rich? You are sponging off my daughter's in law wealth," Mrs Wechuli said in disgust.

The gardener was ashamed as he dissapeared  to the back of the house.

He yawned tiredly as she dialed Ivana's contacted, she called her two times but she was not picking. Mrs Wechuli was tired of waiting. Something that surprised her was that, all the workers in the mansion have no idea where Ivana goes every early in the morning. That's what Rhoda had told her, Ivana had already warned her not to tell anyone where she had moved to.

'I will have to tell my son to  concentrate on his studies. I guess this is the last time I will be sitting here like a fool waiting for Ivana. I have my own things to do,' Mrs Wechuli thought then stood up and entered her car and left.
