CHAPTER 260: WIFEY HERE I COME

FAST FORWARD.

AFTER FIVE YEARS.

It have been five years of study when Mike and Paul got admitted to the Del- York creative college to study Film making and production. Paul was so happy that they were sitting for their final exam. He has been daydreaming about this day, when he was writing his last paper, his mind was already traveling back while his body was in the exam room.

He was fantasizing about how Ivana will be surprised to see him back. How she will run to hand hug him tightly as she carries her up and kiss her. All his mind was filled with no one but Ivana. 

He didn't care how he was going to perform in his last paper. What he was grateful for was that he knew about filmmaking and production. The exam result won't matter to him as long as he was done with the course study.

He stood up and handed his exam script to professor Nkozi as he walked out of the exam room majestically.

Five minutes later Mike followed him hurriedly they arrived in their apartment as he started to pack his clothes in the suitcase.

"I can't imagine I am going back home, I can't wait to be in her arms. I am so happy that finally, I am going to see her beautiful face again. I have been patiently waiting for this year to come," Paul said to Mike.

"At least you are going back home, for me I will remain here to wait for our results. I have missed home too," Mike replied.

"I am so excited, I think I have given her enough time, I guess she gave healed now. I promise you, Mike, that I am going to make you a godfather soon," Paul said jokingly.

"I told you to make me a godfather before we came here but you refused. I won't trust your word until you make it happen," Mike replied nonchalantly.

"Hahaaa, are you trying my Patience, Mike, I am telling you that I am going to make her Pregnant the night I arrive home. I am going straight to her mansion," Paul said as he packed his suitcase.

"If you didn't make her Pregnant on your first night as a couple what makes you think that you will impregnate her?" Mike asked jokingly.

"I am not impotent, I am fertile I am going to show you that. When you arrive in the country next month I assure you that my wife Ivana will be carrying my seed," Paul said.

"All the best Paul, that's the only thing I can tell you for now."

Paul and Mike had done with their studies, they have already written their final exam of the course. So Paul had already decided to get back in the country as soon as he was done with exams.

For Mike, he decided to stay back for at least a month to wait for their results. He has no hurry to go back to the country. The person who would have made her back in the country with Paul was Mish but for the last year, Mish has been ignoring his calls and text messages.

Besides he has nothing important that he was going back to the country to do. For his house and farm, he left it in the trusted hands of his long-term friend. So he did not doubt, the house that they have been staying in for five years, it has two months before they ask for rent again.

He understood that Paul had to her back because he have been singing about Ivana over and over. Something else he knew was that Paul wanted to know how the company was doing for the past four years. He couldn't ask his mother because Mrs. Wechuli blamed him whenever there was a problem with the chairman.

In her mind she still wanted Paul to drop out of college so that he can be the chairman of their company.

So Paul's luggage was already ready and his ticket was ready the only thing was to avail himself at the airport the next day as his flight was scheduled for the next day early in the morning.

After supper, Mike joked at Paul because he had refused to go to bed early.

"Do you mean you are going to sit for the entire night, relax why are you behaving like someone who is traveling by flight for the first time?"

"What's wrong with you I am thinking about something. What should I buy I ana from Nigeria?" Paul asked.

"Find her a souvenir,"  Mike replied.

"Aww year that's a good idea, but I guess the cultural market is closed by now," Paul said the kicked Mike's leg slightly. "Why did you tell me earlier Mike?"

"How would I have known that you wanted to buy your wife Something. I was just suggesting, maybe you can buy her something at the airport. Too bad your flight is in the morning, maybe you buy her something nice when you land, "Mike said.

"I am still disadvantaged because I will arrive almost late in the evening. I will have to think about what I buy her, I know she loves gifts."

"Don't stress yourself to me, she will understand if your excuse will be genuine. Convince her to come with you here when you return for your results," Mike suggested.

Early in the next morning, Paul woke up and prepared himself. He wouldn't want to miss the flight for anything in this world. Mike helped him drag his suitcase and fortunately, he boarded the taxi that took him to Murtala Muhammed international airport. Mike accompanied him to see him off at the airport.

After thirty minutes of their arrival, the card for his flight number and Paul left to board it. He was very happy as he waved goodbye to Mike. He can't imagine that finally, he was returning to the country after five years.

He climbed the flight stairs as he murmured to himself, "Wifey here I come,"
