Chapter Sixty-five

Bella woke up that morning feeling like a baby, the bed was empty. She sat up and stretched, "Do not offend those muscles of yours in the name of stretching Bella ", his voice said and she then noticed him. Sitting there on the sofa, watching her with these eyes that seemed to always sweep her off her feet, Bella was dazzled. She managed to breathe out, "Good morning ",and he walked over to her, her eyes lit up. She was looking at him still when he reached out and touched her face, just on her cheek. She smiled and he gave her a kiss, "Good morning sweetheart ", he said after the kiss, and pecked her cheek. He sat quietly for a while and said, "I got something urgent to handle at the office, I just wanted to watch you wake up and catch your morning expressions on camera ",he said waving his phone and her eyes nearly popped out of their sockets, she tried to get the phone, "Let me see, let me... Hey... Give me that ",she was trying while he kept moving it away from her reach. He rose up smiling, "Do not worry, they would not be released to the press, at least not yet ",he said, and when it looked like she was going to come at him, he sped out of the room and Bella sat down again. Gosh, she was a deep sleeper and she did have this bully some sort of look while stretching. She would do him same very soon, she was going to make sure of that. But then, she felt satisfied and happy this morning, he actually sat up and watched her, regardless of the fact that he had something important to do. Madeline would soon be coming, her thoughtful mind told her, and she had missed lessons already so she needed to be early and waiting for the dear woman to come. Bella got up from the bed, she did her morning business and went down for breakfast. Jay was just finishing his meal when she came in, "Sorry darling, I could not wait. I explained to you I have something urgent right, but I promise to make it up to you when I return ", he said to her and she smiled, something then tugged her love caked memory, " When do I get to see my mom Jay? ", she asked looking as cute as she was sincere, "Oh that, I did not forget ", he said and she raised her eyebrow in a funny way, "Okay, I did for a while ago but I promise not to again. We would talk about it when I return sweetie okay? ",he said and dropped his cutlery. He was done eating, he took a sip of water and rose. Walking over to her, Jay gave her a kiss on her forehead, "Have a great day honey, I'll miss your troubles though ",he said and scurried off, "I don't give tro.. ",she was saying and discovered he was gone, he was an adorable man and she counted herself lucky meeting a quizzical man like him, he was a puzzle and she loved puzzles. She continued with her meal, she wanted to be the one waiting for Madeline this time. After she was done, she took her dishes to the kitchen, "Oh come on Bella,  you shouldn't have, I would get the dishes ", Chelsea said when she saw her enter, Bella smiled. She had missed them and could see it in their eyes. They chatted a little and she was even told how Madeline had been worried about her, she felt cool about it, she could not wait to see her friendly tutor. She was still chatting when Madeline was announced in, just about time.
