Reunion

"It’s okay, dad. I forgive you. " Rachael said, with tears falling down her soft pale cheeks. She was overwhelmed with joy.

Mr Ray turned to Lisa and Mrs Ray.

"The same goes for the two of you. Treat my daughter with some respect." He said coldly. And Lisa twisted her mouth.

"What exactly are you emphasizing about your daughter? Am I not your daughter?"Lisa inquired.

"Yes, is she not your daughter." Mrs. Ray agreed.

"You are both my daughter’s." he stated.

Rachael wiped her tears with the back of her palm and looked at her father.

"What do you prepare for dinner?" Mr Ray inquired, looking at his wife.

"I haven’t prepared anything yet." She replied.

"So what are you waiting for? Go and cook woman!" he snapped, and she ran away quickly.

Mrs Ray came outside of the kitchen and stare at Rachael who was sitting on the couch.

"What are you doing there? Come and help me in the kitchen." She snapped, looking at Rachael.

Rachael glared at her, Rachael was about to talk when Mr Ray walked into the living room.

"What do you need her for? What is Lisa doing?" He said coldly.

"She is bathing." Mrs. Ray replied.

"Rachael just got back home, she won’t touch anything in this house today." Mr Ray stated, and Rachael smirked evilly.

She pulled Mr Ray into the chair.

"Dad, I was hoping you could get me a mobile phone." She stated, and he looked at her in a weird way.

"Don’t you have a mobile phone?" he asked bluntly.

"Yes, I don’t have." She replied

"I thought I gave your mum money to buy a phone for you and Lisa." He stated

"They didn’t buy it for me." Rachael replied.

"Grace! Grace!" he called out to her. She walked out of the kitchen and stood in front of them.

"What is the matter?" she inquired.

"Rachael doesn’t have a mobile phone. How is that possible?" he asked coldly.

"I thought you didn’t want her to talk to guys, so I didn’t buy a mobile phone for her." She replied.

"You could have bought it. You know Rachael is very obedient. No wonder when ever I ask for Rachael’s number, you refused to give me." He stated

"I thought that was the right thing to do." She replied.

"Go and make dinner." He scoffed, and she walked away.

Jane moved closer to Trevor and held his hand.

"Please tell me what you know," she pleaded.

"Christian likes you, and he asked me to give you the water Steve drank." He said, avoiding her gaze.

"What do you mean the water he drank?" she asked.

" I fell your water on purpose so I could replace yours with mine, Christian wanted to drug you so he could have his way with you." He stated, and Jane’s eyes widened she gave him a resounding slap across the face.

"I know you will react this way, but I promise you, it wasn’t in my power to say no to his request." He stated.
