CHAPTER 81

"Nini" he calls out and I turn back to him and he just stare at me and smile.

" Sir" I lowered my gaze staring at my toes and I try to steal a look and I could see him looking me from my head to toes with his back rested on his chair.

" Sit down there, let Mercy do the work" he said.

" Sir"  he cuts in.

"Sit" he said. I sit and I tried lifting my face again and my eyes met his and he just smiled.

I have been noticing lately , the way Mike looks at me , I do not like this at all but I have signed a contract, sometimes I don't even know what I am employed for because mostly Mercy does most of the job, he would just tell me to sit and he would be staring at me in a way I don't like but I just have to keep my cool.

" Nini" he called.

" Sir" I answered. 

"I am not sir" he said. "  I am mike"

"Sir I possibly can't call you by your name because you are my boss" he said.

" Then I don't want to be your boss" he said.

"Sir?" because I do not understand what he meant by he dosen't want to be my boss.

" I want to be the man that cherish you" am really lost in everything he is saying right now.

" Has your husband gotten a job" he asked. My ear opened wide to that question because I want my husband to get a more respectful job.

" No sir" I answered.

" No, no,no! Answer me more properly.

" No sir" I said.

" Your answer has to be without sir" he said.

" No".

" No Mike" he said.

I can't even call him by name firstly he's much older than me and secondly he is my boss, every one in this company addresses him by sir while should mine be different. I just kept quiet.

" Tell your husband to give his C.v to you, I have a friend who works in Mobil and she has a slot so I think your husband should get that slot.

"Sir, you want to help us, may God bless you" he didn't say a word he just continue typing on his laptop.

I was so happy , Mobil of all company, they pay real well, our life would change for good, we can live the way we are leaving before.

" Excuse me sir, I want to use the toilet, I stood up to go out of the office.

 " Use the toilet here" he said. Pointing at his toilet.

It's not like i really wanted to use the toilet, I just want to break the good news to my husband.

I used the toilet and I return to my seat, he wouldn't take his eyes of me smiling.

It's 9:30pm right now, my husband has been calling, I should be home right now, all workers has gone home, the last worker left 8:00pm, I was even beginning to feel sleepy, the funniest thing is he just kept staring at me without doing nothing.
