The fourth kingdom, Bieri are experts in weapon-wielding, they can control any form of weapon so long as it’s man-made.
They’re the captains and head of guards as they control weapons and force them to do their bidding, even to the extent of killing their owner if the wielder so much as says a word of command to the weapons formed.
The Bieris are the second most dangerous and as such, they’re kept in contentment as an angry welder can destroy a whole kingdom without batting an eye.
Once, something like that happened.
The Fifth kingdom, Rodon are experts in Elemental control, they control our weather in a way it will be beneficial to them.
They’re sought after in battle, a single elemental controller can defeat thousands since they have the elemental power.
We have other magic users like the nature bloomers, the animal whisperers, the witches, the potion makers and so on, but those don’t have a kingdom to their names, they are allowed to choose a kingdom of their choice to reside in and that mixed harmony brought to bathe, magic users with diverse gifts.
The Ugali royal family oversees the well-being of the other kingdoms and their subjects, our duty is towards the five vast kingdoms.
The royal family of Ugali is gifted with the magic of sightseeing, necromancy, shapeshifting, and magic harvester_ it was once in our history that we got a harvester, his gift or should I say a curse is to steal people’s gifts and harnessed it as his, his power might be seen as cool, but it’s what led to his untimely demise.
The powers he stole from others became too much for him to handle and died of excessive magic_, a season whisperer, a crop grower_ they grow food for others, an ancestor of mine was said to have saved her villagers from dying by growing food.
The rainmakers, the storm harvesters, the tempest calmer and more that I couldn’t recall, my father the present king have the gift of healing, the tempest raiser and storm harvester, and it’s expected of me to have one of his gifts if not all, but unfortunately, am a lost cause as I happen to magic-less.
My mom was the strongest female Ugali warrior until her untimely demise, she was gifted with weapon forming, weapon-wielding and rain bringer, a formidable force that likes of haven’t been seen, neither will they see.
It’s a shame to be born from two formidable warrior parents and yet end up being a magic-less mutt.
If our people were to hear about it, there will be a protesting riot.
In Ugali, it’s unheard of for someone to be born without gifts, our gifts manifest on the night of our seventeenth birthday, a year before our tattoo marks appear on our body, and the length of the tattoo signifies a strong bond, those with small tattoos are considered as weak, they’re not given places of honours in our kingdom.
My mother’s helper mark covered the entirety of her upper back, and my dad’s covered half of his abdomen.
During our Wafu festival, my dad loves showing off his helper’s mark to his admiring subjects, throughout the three days of the festival, my dad wears clothes that show off his mark.
“It’s a crime to cover a remarkable helper's bond as I”, my dad always boast.
I'm afraid I wouldn’t get a helper’s mark as I haven’t gotten my powers yet, and I have no hope of getting one since am past the age of gifting.
The gods wouldn’t be heartless enough to pair me with a poor girl who’s hoping for a helper to protect her, in most cases, it’s the female warriors that protect their helpers, but in my case as a royal, I would be expected to protect my helper, not the other way around.

“Your highness, the king is awaiting your presence”, Kwofo announced as he came in.
“A minute”, I shouted as I made a last-minute check on the attire, I am purring on.
“Lead the way”, I motioned for him to proceed.
I’ve been sheltered my entire life, leaving the security of the palace walls when it’s required of me, which have only been twice.
The first was during my parent’s twentieth anniversary, and the second was when I was introduced to my people.
The idea of attending a school far from home and without anyone close to me doesn't sound inviting at all.
