"That's what I've been hearing most of my life, the gods have something in store for you", I looked at him, "for how long Kwofo?, tell me for how long?".
He smiled, "you will know when the time's near", he pointed to the door, "after you my prince".
I walked in without saying anymore word, Kwofo is trying to encourage me just because h doesn't know how it feels being magic less in a place where magic rules.
It won't do me good to standing there trying to argue with a person who strongly believes in the gods I think deserted me long ago.
He doesn't understand now, and he won't understand later, he's just a lost cause when it comes to things concerning the gods and their method of gifting.
"Welcome", the cheerful teacher smiled the moment we walked into class, there wasn't any student in sight.
I glared at Kwofo, he was the cause of this, without him I would have been at home lounging relaxedly on a chair, but he forced me out here believing we're late for a class I detest so much.
He shrugged when he noticed my eyes on him.
"Choose your color and proceed to the rooms indicated on it", she showed us the rows of colors.
There were different colors on the table, each have a bucket of the exact colors on it.
Red was for the barrier raisers, blue for the elements controllers, green for the healers.
Kwofo took a green ribbon from the bucket and tied it on his wrist as the teacher adviced.
Giving me a sorry look he walked towards his class, so much for having a friend with me.
Rather than keep standing, I continued on with my walk, Yellow was for the weapon weilders, orange for the weapon formers.
Indigo for the animal whisperers, white for the nature bloomers, pink for the potion makers, black for the witches.
There were so much colors there I lost count of which was for which,
"Haven't you seen yours yet darling?", the teacher asked with a concerned tone.
During the time I was walking around, three more students came in, and each located their colors minutes after they walked in.
I cleared my throat, "I didn't see the color for the magic mutts ma", I said with a poker face, the sadness I felt at my words wasn't present in my face but rather in my tune.
"Oh forgive me my prince, I didn't recognize you earlier when you walked in", she came closer to me, "if you will follow me I will show you to your special room".
Or rather my prison for the rest of my stay here, sugar coating it as special doesn't mean anything.
"Where are you taking me to?", it doesn't hurt to ask right?, I have to know where she plans in taking me to.
Even though I don't have magical powers I still have what we know as common sense, and common sense requires I know of where am going to before blindly following a stranger.
