Chapter 71

" Am taking you to your own class, a place where you will learn the basic process of unleashing", she opened the door at the right of where Kwofo walked into.

I looked longily at his door, only if he will mistakenly look out, that way I will be confident someone knows of my whereabouts.

Like all my wishes and prayers this one was left unanswered, the door didn't open till I closed the door behind me.

She was waiting for me near the door of the room.

The room we walked in wasn't like the other one we vacated, this one has an unearthly feeling to it.

I can feel something scratching my arms, but when I look down I notice nothing.

Books where lined on a shelf, the were so ancient looking I won't be surprised if am told this were the books my great grandfather's grand father read.

The shades were drawn letting in the dull glow of the setting sun, a table was at the side of the window with three chairs surrounding it.

The place looks like how I envisioned an ancient library to look like, the only thing missing on it is the cobwebs, without the webs present the entire decor is really lacking.

"Do you feel anything on your skin?", she asked, making me jump nearly out of my skin.

I've forgotten all about her with my mind preoccupied with my musings.

"Feel what?", I snapped, it's not her fault am magic less to the extent I will be dumbed in an ancient like library with ancient books to keep me company.

It's not her fault that my supposed beat friend left me all alone here, it isn't her fault am attending an academy I never liked nor wanted to be a part off, it might not be her fault, but she happens to be the only one here for me to bent my anger out on.

"The prickling sensation on your skin", she answered my question, not showing any signs of hearing the tone I used on her.

"Do you feel the insistent tugging on your skin?", she asked again.

Now she've said it, I can recall the itching feelings I had the first time I walked in, it's still there, but the tugging have dulled.

Whatever that might have been is obviously tired and bored of me, it must have noticed my magic less state.

"It was more like an itch, a scratch in your inner skin", I looked around the room, this would have been my favorite place in this academy if not for the reason am in it now.

She gave me a skeptical look, "none have classified the feelings as an itch, you're the only one to classify it as that", she looks thoughtful for a moment, "can you explain more on what you meant".

As much a I don't like answering questions like this, I can help but be grateful she wanted to listen to me talk in a room I was supposed to be in alone.
