Chapter 157

She acted like she've met with me before which still leaves me confused when I think of it.

Happy on the other hand was as confused as I am when she told us we've met before, that made us confused but still didn't make us dwell more on it.

There's also the problem of me sometimes seeing colors on other people, the colors ranges most times, from blue, red ,green and others are most times dull.

I've learnt to associate the colors based in the magical gifts they all have.

Dressing on my normal casual wear, I head to Kwofo's room.

I walked into the room since Kwofo left it open, "buby boy, why's your door open?", I smile at an already dressed Kwofo.

"You clean up fine", Kwofo gave me a once over, "I will give just anything to have the same grace you have", he winks at me.

"Wishes, wishes wishes", I fanned myself, " some people are wishing to be like their gods", I walked majestically to his mirror to check my clothes out.

"And who's the god?", he raise a single eyebrow at me.

"I of course", I made a show of flipping my short hair over my shoulders.

"Sometimes I find it difficult believing you're a male, you act more feminine than most females. Jionu acts more like a male than you do".

"Whatever, let's go I don't want to keep Happy waiting", I walk towards the door.

"I don't think he will survive being kept waiting", Kwofo chuckled as he locked the door behind him.

Magic class today went smoothly with Happy cracking funny jokes.

"I swear I only learnt how to prank people rather than how to unleash my powers", I laughed at the face he's making.

He winks, "Bu you have to know by now that almost everything about me is joking. I hardly take things serious".

The more he smiles and laughs, the more the colors swirling on his head keeps getting brighter.

I would have pointed it out to him if not for the possibility of him talking me for an insane person. I don't want the new friend I made to think am a freak.

My eyes kept darting to the dark colors swirling on a book, the color swirls seductively each time I look at its direction.

Its as if it's calling me to come closer to it; the pull feels Stronger the more I look at it.

"Why do you keep glancing at that book?", he asked for the tenth time today.

"I don't know why" I lie instead of telling him about the swirling black mist.

He stood up to pack the books we made use of, "we will resume from where we stopped tomorrow", he smiles as he leads me out the door, turning to lock it behind him.

"Wait, I forgot the book I said I will take home with me", I opened the door and entered back into the room.

Making my way to the book I intend to take, I can't help glancing towards the black mist that's now swirling more than it was moments ago.
