I stood up faster than I sat, "thank you ma'am, if you don't mind I will be on my merry way", I stood and walked out of the office, trying and succeeding on not looking at the hideous beasts.

Outside her office, I took a much needed breathe to calm my racing heart; talking with her is far more worse than listening to Father's angry rants.

Reddy and Blondie were impatiently pacing the floors of the waiting room when I came out to meet them.

"How was it?", was the first thing Reddy asked i came closer to them.

" I just want to go back to my room", I tell him, not wanting the nosy teacher in here to hear of our conversations.

I won't be surprised if she tells the mistress exactly what I told the two of them, and that's a slip I can't allow to happen.

"How was your meeting with the mistress?", Reddy asked, and this time he envelops me in a hug.

"Lie down and relax a little, that way it can help you relax", Reddy said as he guilded me to my bed.

"We can talk about it later when you wake up from your nap", Blondie promised.

I Shake my head, "no, I want to I talk about it now! aren't you too excited to meet your mate and half soul?", as much as it hurts me to think of them with another person, I can't allow my sadness to rub them of the happiness they will feel tomorrow.

Blondie freezes at my question, while Reddy forced a smile, "we will think of it tomorrow, right now we just want to be with you".

"Is this goodbye?", as greedy as I sound, I can't help wishing they never get a mate and half soul. If they find their other half, they will leave me here alone to Carter for myself.

"It's not Blacky, just relax a bit and stop putting negativity into a positive stuff. Moreover", he shoves me, " you will also get to meet your helpers, I mean your helper", he smiles.

The truth is I don't want to meet any helper that isn't the two of them; now I know what Kwofo must be passing through as he sees me with the two.

"Just sleep", Reddy and Blondie envelops me in a warm cuddle, this is how we've been sleeping since I woke from my one moon sleep.
