It's impossible, I have males for mates.

"You look somehow lost in thoughts, is there anything the problem?", Father looks at me I'm curiousity.

" Am okay father, am just thinking about stuffs of life", I smile despite the inner battles am having, " you will be surprise of those".

He smiles as he playfully flicked my nose the same way Reddy does it, ",you're still how you were Buchim, the Academy only made you a bit mature, it didn't flush out your stupid ways".

" What can I say? my foolishness have a strong hold on me, one not even the academy can pry away".

" You fool", he laughs, " I wonder who you took after", he says in contemplation.

" I took after you of course", I raise a brow at him, " have you forgotten how reckless you were during your academy days? "

It was at the academy that Father met mom. Mom came from a humble yet influential family while Father was the only son of the residing high king.

Mom likes saying that what endeared her to Father was his reckless ways, and they became friends long before they found out they were in deed helpers.

"I did no such thing!", Father waggles his finger at me, "you will do well to stop accusing me of things I didn't do".

"Oh", I quirk my eyebrows, "you were the one who dared yourself to fall from the roof of the academy weren't you?", I purse my lips.

"Nah, that wasn't the fact. The truth of the matter was I was dared by a friend to fall from the roof of the Academy's building".

I raise a knowing brow, " are you trying to tell my mother lied when she told me those funny tales?".

" Your mom told you those?" he nervously scratched his hair, " I guess he said the truth about that", he nervously chuckled, " everything your mom said is the truth, she was there for most part of my stay at the Academy", he smiled before his face turned into an angry frown, "she was with me for most part of our stay at the Academy, but she couldn't stay long with me outside it?".

" She might not have stayed long with you outside the Academy, but she left you a gift, one that will stay with you for as long as she would have stayed have she being alive", I place my head on his shoulders, " Father am here for you".

He caresses my hair, "I know you are, and that's the reason I want you yo graduate that Academy fast and come stay with your old man", he chuckles, " fancy young me calling myself old".

"Are you not old?", I raise my brow in question.

"Am as young as you are", he smiled.

"You think yourself young?", I give him an amused look, "you're really dreaming, aren't you?".

"Am telling the truth", he looks around till he spotted a guard and waved him over, "tell me mister, am I old?", he asked the poor guard.
