Chapter 437

"You're right. This place wasn't all as perfect as I made it to be. It was just a cluster of old houses.

A place that was once the beauty of our kingdom but the wars of the year 2000 laid waste to most of the houses here. "

He walked for a short time before stoping at a place that looked like it was once a water fall. The sculptured human on it looked like it have been scratched on more times than can be counted.

The hand that undoubtedly produced water have been cut, and placed on her foot.

" This was where the final war took place, " he points to the image." It was..... "

He looked around. His eyes focused on one of the buildings.

"What's it?" Ije asked in a hushed tone. Her hand hovering above the sword she normally carries.

I've seen her brandishing the sword whenever she's training, but I've never seen her make use of it.

"Just mutts," Blondie looked back at the house. The one he said his uncle once lived in. His eyes fastened to one of the windows that seems to have a glass louver or two on it.

He Frowned.

"What's wrong?" I looked at the window, but there was nothing out of place.

Aside from the sounds of zincs making noise in the wind, there was nothing there.

"I thought I saw my uncle there," he shook his head as if trying to shake out the thoughts he have of his uncle.

"We need to leave," Elit says. Her eyes fastened to the house Blondie claimed contained mutts.

We walked for a short time more. This time there was no words exchanged between us. Our fatigue from the constant running and the use of our powers have started taking it's toll on us.

"I don't think I can continue," I stopped to catch my breathe. My stomach hurts, probably from the run.

"We're almost at the gate Blacky. Just a little cut there, and we will be out. Two more streets to walk pass." Blondie said.

" I don't think I can continue," I look down at my legs that have started swelling up again. It won't take long before the pains intensifies.

"I will carry you on my back," Blondie looked around. "We can't afford to waste more time here."

Despite his words, I slowly sat down on the floor. Not in any way bothered by how dirty the floor is.

All I want now is to have a little rest, drink some water, and hopefully have a little nap. After I must have done all these things, then I will be as good as new.

" It will be better we rest a little. You can't be able to carry him seeing as how bigger his stomach have gotten." Ije said in agreement to my suggestion he allow me to rest.

My stomach isn't as big as Ije made it to be, but it's more bigger than it was when we started this flight.
