Chapter 479

"You're letting them go despite the crimes they committed, but he would stay?" Father looked at mistress in anger.

"Their sins and that of your son are not the same. Your son broke multiple laws, but these two are juts victims who happens to be friends with the wrong person.

They really were unfortunate to meet him. Isn't that right son?" she looked at Happy in question.

Gasps came from the audience either probably from the words she spoke, or her use of son when she referred to Happy.

"Wrong person?" Reddy scoffed. " You're the one who we were unfortunate to meet. Someone like you is better off burning in the dark, but even at that, I highly doubt the dark will accept someone with a heart as dark and dangerous a she is. "

Reddy coughed after speaking. His blood splattering on the floor with a sound.

"Are you alright?" I tried to turn, but the ropes made me unable to do so.

" Yeah. Just lost a Little blood, nothing a feeding won't replace." He chuckled.

" It's either you accept to allow him be with mistress for as long as his stay on Makoha is, or we kill him right now. The decision is for you to do so." Elder Okwuonu sneered at mother.

" Have I told you how much I really hate this man?" He frowns.

" You've done that countless of times already. "

If Reddy haven't already made mention of his hate for mistress, I would still have known.

Mistress isn't someone with a loveable character. Not at l.

"Accept his death? It's not possible...."

The glass on the ceiling broke into pieces, and Blondie landed on the floor as gracefully as he can . His landing was really perfect.

"No one is dying!" he frowned at Elder Okwuonu. "If anyone would die, I think you're the one."

From the open space on the roof, the others came down..

"Kwofo?" I was really surprised to see my aide with them.

Not only is he with them, but the Reddy's aide was also with them.

"My prince." Ije rushed towards me. A flask on her hand.

"Ije." I smiled. Glad to see her as much as I am to see the flask in her hand.

Uncapping the bottle, she made to out it to my mouth.

"Stop! who're..."

His words cane too late because I've already drank the water placed on my mouth. After all, water is truly life.

The fire sent towards us would have hit us of not for Kwofo who blocked it with his sword. The gleaming sword in his hand gleamed to show exactly how new it truly is.

"If you want to fight against them, you will have to ho through us first." The entire girls stood protectively around me in particular.

"Neche!" Blondie's father called to him, but he didn't turn.

"Who are you?" Mistress stood from her seat. Her eyes on the girls.

"We're the disciples of the great priestess, the protectors of prince Buchim."
