"It's dangerous Love. We can't have you pass through a bonding ceremony, not in a time like this." Reddy frowned at me.
"We can't risk your health for something like that. You're too important to be taken for granted." Blondie placed a hand on my back. " Don't worry about a bonding ceremony. We'll have one when you've given birth."
" Ije said it helps in child delivery." I frown at them, " It's either I have a ceremony, or you forget." I slowly stood up from the bed.
My big stomach making me stagger a bit.
"Easy love." Blondie held me, but I slapped his hands off.
"Don't touch me."
I walk to the window. Taking a seat there, I looked out. My gaze on the students walking below.
It's a school day, but I didn't attend classes.
Being pregnant have its own advantage. It exempts you from things. In this case my pregnancy exempted me from attending classes. Not that I would have learnt anything new from them.
I've already Mastered my powers, there's nothing more to learn from the teachers, not when am more powerful than most of them.
"We're doing this for your own good Love. We can't stress you all in the name of a bonding ceremony. We can't risk your life." Reddy walked closer to me, but stopped a feet from where I sat.
He knows how much I hate it when someone approach me when it's obvious I don't want them to.
" I don't care for your excuses Zoban, it's either you all agree to a bonding ceremony with me, or I take it you don't want to tie yourself to me.
That's the only explanation for your reluctancy to bond with me. It's shows you don't like me, not at all."
I know my words are far from being the truth, but I could care less. Am not beyond playing dirty to get what I want, and in this case, I want to have a ceremony with them.
"Why will you say such a thing?" Reddy frowned.
"How can you think of such a thing? Who gave you the idea we don't want to bond with you? Who wouldn't bond with a beautiful mate?" Blondie stood up from the bed, and made his way towards me.
Just like Reddy, he stopped from coming close to me. He stood beside Reddy.
"Beautiful mate? You dare call me beautiful when it's obvious you don't want to bond with me. " I frown. Placing my hands on my stomach, I look out the window, trying to pretend am not seeing them.
"Who said we don't want to bond with you? We want to, but we can't risk your pregnant self. We can't do that." Blondie said, but I paid them no attention.
"If you want nothing more to say, you can leave. I want nothing to do with you since you don't want the safety of I and my baby."
" That's not true..."
" Are you through? " I turn to them. " If you have nothing to say, you leave."
