Chapter 33: I love you (3)

Charlie got the company, he goes to the receptionist desk and asked if Eve has arrived, she told him yes and immediately heads to his office leaving the receptionist and the rest of the employees surprised; " why is he so in a hurry and also why is he asking about Eve?" Asked the receptionist; "I don't know... But.. I think there is something fishy between them" said one of the employee; "what are you trying to say?" Asked the receptionist;

The employee clears her throat and said, "what am saying is that maybe be they are dating"; "shhhh... Don't say that again unless you want to be fired, now go back to work before we are caught gossiping" said the receptionist; and both of them went to their various work station.

Charlie got to his office, opened the door and his eyes and Eve's meet; Eve immediately remove her eyes and pretends to be typing something on the computer; Charlie chuckled and walks to his desk and sits down and began the day's work.

Time flies as people say and it's time for lunch, Eve begins to think how to ask her boss what he wants for lunch without it being awkward between them; after a few minutes she summoned up courage to go and ask him what he wants for lunch, she stands up and heads to his desk;

She clears her throat to get his attention (which worked by the way); .. hm.. I wanted to ask what you want for lunch so that I can get it for you" she said;

Charlie looks at her and said "I want you"

"What!" Shouted Eve; "what did you say?" She asked to be sure of what she heard her boss say.

Charlie stood up from his chair, and walks around the table to where Eve is standing, he approaches her and she steps back maintain a distance between them but Charlie keeps going closer to her and she hits the his table and has no where to go and her boss has a sly smile on his face; "I said I want you, did you hear me?" Said Charlie.

"Why?" Eve asked; she is surprised, shocked and any emotions that you can think of.

"Because I love you" said Charlie; seeing her reaction to it he said "don't tell me you didn't believe what I said last night?"; As he said that, Eve begins to cause in her mind, "damn you pervert, must you bring up what happened last night?"; " If you don't believe me I can show you prove" Charlie said.

"How?" Eve asked.

Charlie bends closer until their faces were inches apart before his secretary comes into the office; "sir.. you have a meeting by 1pm with the board..." Dan stops mid sentence when he raised his head to see the position his boss and Eve were in; immediately Eve and Charlie separates themselves; "I'm so sorry sir...very sorry to interrupt you" Dan stammered.

"It's okay Dan, i will be there in five minutes" Charlie said and signals him to leave; " okay sir" said Dan.

Immediately Dan left, he turns to face Eve and said, " it seems we would continue our conversation at home very well without disturbance", he smiled and left the office leaving Eve in daze.

The meeting took longer than expected so by the time it ended it was already time to close for the day, so Eve arranged the office and waited for Charlie in front of the company so they can go home together.

Few minutes later Charlie came out of the company and saw Eve, then he approached her; he bends down close to her (Eve) ear and whispers ' were you waiting for me, little bunny?' his voice sent shivers down her body and she was startled by the voice and nobody needs to tell her the owner of the voice....My boss..

She (Eve) turns around....b..boss..; ' Charlie' he (Charlie) corrected her; Charlie chuckled because of her shocked expression; Eve face flushed red, ' oh! You are here ' ; Charlie smiled and walks towards his car with both hands in each sides of his trouser.

After he gets into the car and starts the car, he notice that Eve didn't follow him, he pulls down the window of the passenger seat and saw her still standing and he shouts her name, ' Eve, aren't you coming? ' ; Eve is drawn out of her reverie when she heard him call her name, ' ehh...oh yeah.. yeah' she runs hurries up and enters the car and he (Charlie) drives off towards the direction of the house.
